FACT'S Koze mix makes for a cozy evening. - Jose Ignacio D'Alta
Die Vögel, german for "the birds", is composed of Jakobus Durstewitz and Mense Reents. Don't worry though, this duo is very far from some tribute to the hippie folk band, nor do they have anything to do with the Hitchcock movie. It's been almost a year since we've heard anything since last fall's Dntel remix, and this time around, the bring us Pampa Record's month-old release: The Chicken. Mesmerize, the second page of this affair, is definitely easier on the ears (and our personal favorite.) It's a downer that, like most downers, relaxes you and massages your mood as you listen along. Thanks to the Pampa Records team for this great release! - Jose Ignacio D'Alta
M I Y S T I K is the Miami-based side project of Brandon Seralena.
The sounds of M I Y S T I K are slow and ambient. You find yourself lost in the soft bass line, chill climbs, and deep drops. I'm almost hesitant to call this production anything other than experimental. It defiantly takes you on a ride, enjoy it as much as I do.
P.S. Brandon also makes music under X3SR, he makes some of the best music Miami has to offer.

Art-workin', punk-rockin', rock singin' extraordinaire Katie Alice Greer.
Little gift from the world of the Boiler Room. This time, featuring Darshan Jesrani.
One of my favorite hobbies is to listen to hour long mixes during my long commutes to work, and get lost. Literally. I was listening to superduo DJ DODGER STADIUM's new FADER mix on my way back home, missed my stop not once, but three fucking times. I blame it on the mix. I mean, imagine how good a mix has to be to make someone completely oblivious to his environment because of just how perfect the music is. And to those of you who say the mix isn't that good, and that I'm just an oblivious dick... Well, yeah, but just listen. (Click on that little square right under.)

Fort Romeau remixes Gold Panda's Community, off of his newest album Half of Where You Live.
British producer extraordinaire Louis La Roche is back. (Well, not that he ever really left.) And, more importantly, is that with him, he brought his particular brand of house music. We've got this little teaser of his newest EP, Funk Trunk Skunk and Kaboom, which ACTUALLY CAME OUT TODAY. We'll be keeping an eye out for that so you won't have to. ("Keeping an eye out, so you won't have to."= possible motto?) - Jose Ignacio D'Alta

Last night I had the pleasure of catching this amazing group LMNTKDM preform live a PAX in Miami. Gothic Cumbia, like nothing else ever herd before.
LMNTKDM is a Colombian band that plays music that feels truly native to South American Countries like Colombia. Their classic rhythms and sound which many call "sabroso" is only matched and complemented by the sounds of the death and the underworld. The whole theory behind this amazing genre of music comes from the idea that although music styles like Cumbia and Salsa are colorful, exotic and cheerful, the countries where they originate are truly dark and tragic places. Great concept, which last night was proven to me that it really works well. Look out for more great Electronic Latin Music just like LMNTKDM.
Photos from that night will uploaded on a separate post to accommodate for tumblr.

The Concept of the day: Ephemeral moments. Or more specifially, those ephemeral moments when a track transcends into you life and actually becomes that perfect accent to whatever you may or may not be doing. That's what Nautiluss' Zero Gravity is all about. - Jose Ignacio D'Alta
"Call it Beauty and her Beats. It's like a fairy tale, except that instead of looking for love, we look for the perfect sound... Now that I think about it, in a way, we are looking for love. Just in a different way."
