me talking about how motorcity was an imperfect but generally galaxy brain cartoon with BEAUTIFUL animation that directly criticized gentrification, monopolistic megacorporations (+how they horribly polute vulnerable communities), and propoganda and how i think if it had come out now, it would have gotten more of the appreciation it deserved

ALSO i think it's fishy that disney tried to bury the cartoon while it aired by scheduling it at absurd hours and cutting its first season short and then almost never airing reruns/making it extremely difficult to watch legally (including excluding it from disney+, despite its "sister" show of similar success tron: uprising and other random obscure shit being on there)

mike chilton is such a good friend!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i feel like a lot of team-oriented shows TELL u that their characters are friends or have specific episodes dedicated to showcasing their characters’ friendships but mike is just out there going above and beyond for his friends every moment of his life!!!! 

i think all the time about him immediately putting himself through hell to find that one specific part for chuck’s car w/o being asked and about how when he had the shit beaten out of him and was literally slated for execution, his first instinct was to comfort JULIE about it like ahhhhhh
