Jesus a good bit of this is wrong. AGAIN the TWO jobs, no heating, rent is way higher than $600 and I can’t find health insurance for less than $280 a month AND it has a $6,000 deductible, meaning I have to pay that.

I make more than minimum wage and I literally don’t bring home what they figure as monthly bills/spending.

So let’s break this down by what this person’s average work day would look like in terms of time using their numbers. Federal minimum wage is $7.25/hr so the person has worked 152.4 hours at job one (1) this month, and 131.7 hours at job two (2) this month. That’s 284.1 hours total for this month.

Now from here let’s break it down by how much per day. There’s 22 week days, 4 Saturdays, and 5 Sundays in this month (July 2018). So here’s a look at how many hours this person would be working per day depending on how many days per week they work.

5 days/week: 13 hours daily

6 days/week (taking sundays off): 11 hours daily

7 days/week: 9.2 hours daily

Now I don’t work because I’m a college student and I’m just trying to graduate. But that doesn’t seem sustainable.

Let’s assume 30 minutes per meal and 3 meals a day. As well as 8 hours of sleep a day (we’re being optimumists.)

So that leaves 5.3 hours if you’re working 7 days a week. 3.5 hours if you’re working 6 and taking saturdays off. Or 1.5 hours if you work 5. Which isn’t a lot if you’re accounting for chores, self care, etc.

Whoever made this graphic needs to be fired. Whatever person did the money work for this bullshit needs to be stripped of any and all titles, and dignity. And whatever barely sentient walking phallic object approved this, and thinks it makes sense, needs to work the hours required to make that much and live off that paycheck.

Personally I’m someone who wants to be an accountant, because I actually like the way seeing the numbers in terms of accounts and that shit balance out and make sense. THIS MAKES NO SENSE AND IT INFURIATES ME!

So I started listening to @fatefmcast and it’s amazing but I noticed that the cover looks like the lesbian pride flag. Which is amazing
