Hello loves and welcome to my masterlist! Here you’ll find all of my fanfics. I write for Sebastian Stan and his character of James Buchanan “Bucky” Barnes, and Henry Cavill and his characters of Geralt of Rivia and Walter Marshall. I may write for other Marvel characters in the future but at the moment these are the only guys I write for!
Dive deep into the fics you find here and feel free to let me know what you think and/or send in requests!

Yes the AO3 omega April fools joke was exceptionally funny but actually seeing AO3 on April 2nd without a beta status is sending me.
What do you mean it’s not in beta anymore? Isn’t that it’s thing? Just to exist in a perpetual state of almost ready. Do I too need to grow and change and become an actualized product? I am not ready.
Summary: Simon is your recipient for Secret Soldier.
Content: humor, very fluffy + sfw, hints of maybe having a teeny tiny crush on your Lieutenant
Word Count: 850
Notes: I‘m going through it at the moment, so I thought I‘d comfort myself with a gift giving headcanon. Enjoy! ✨
Simon, who has never really seen the point in gift-giving and receiving since his family’s death.
Simon, who looked on stoically as Soap and Gaz decided that everybody stationed on base during the public holidays should be part of a round of Secret Santa (they called it Secret Soldier after further thought, for inclusivity’s sake).
Simon, who avoided Gaz‘ stern look as he handed him his little folded up square, a name on it he vaguely recognized as one of the aviation blokes.
Simon, who pushed the game to the back of his mind for weeks, completely forgetting about it amid the usual chaos that ensued towards the end of the year.
Simon, who clutched the outside of his jacket in an unusual display of panic, when Soap brought up the topic again - saying how hard it had been to stay within the £10 limit (and then everybody at the lunch table had agreed, like they‘d all bought their presents weeks ago and he was the only fucking knobhead that had forgotten).
Simon, who subtly tried to ask around about what his recipient might like, but ended up being super obvious - because the Lieutenant never asked about anybody’s business. Ever.
Simon, who was too busy anxiously watching Barry as he unwrapped his new mini houseplant with genuine enthusiasm to notice you watching him in turn.
You, who had clutched your head in despair over drawing Ghost for Secret Soldier of all people. You didn’t even know what he looked like, never lucky enough to be among the select few who had seen his face during missions.
Not wanting to offend him with skincare products (who knew, maybe he‘d had some insecurities or really bad acne because of all the mask wearing?), beard/hair oil (what if he was bald?) or chocolate (food allergies and dietary restrictions and all that) you decided on something silly.
Something silly and fun for a man that killed people for a living and cracked Dad jokes over comms with MacTavish. A man who sometimes sat in the base library and read anything that others had left behind or never bothered to finish.
You‘d come across him with Jane Austen on his chest, or a Brandon Sanderson in his lap - still open on the latest page as he sipped his milky black tea and stared out into the vastness of the desert, like it held some secret only he could decipher.
You, who held your breath as Simon undid the small silky ribbon, then unfolded his present instead of ripping into it. The small keychain looked almost comical in his massive hands, but he cradled it gently and inspected it from all sides. No one except you was paying attention to him, too busy chatting and admiring Gaz‘ new sparkly phone case.
And that‘s how Ghost caught you. He looked up abruptly, eyes zeroing in on you like he‘d physically felt your stare, like he was aware of everybody around him at all times.
You couldn’t look away, like a deer caught in the headlights. But the eyes beyond his mask crinkled in a small smile, then he inclined his head and stuffed his present into the front pocket of his hoodie. Face burning, you felt pride smoldering in your chest, pleased with yourself.
You, who almost dropped your files the next week, as Sergeant MacTavish and Lieutenant Riley disembarked one of the heli carriers, rotors still churning up sand and dirt - Simon had turned back around for a moment, shouting and motioning something at the rest of TF141 within. But that wasn’t what had caught your attention.
You were too far away to make out the details of course, but you would recognize the keychain you had gifted him anywhere. Diamond shaped and holographic, it reflected the late afternoon sun as he eventually turned and made his way back to base again. Soap would be close enough to clearly see the small worm wiggling out of a book, and the bold letters underneath too.
As Simon passed you, he did something he had never done before, no matter how much you might have pined for it.
Simon, who hardly ever acknowledged anyone outside of his team (especially before debrief and a strong black tea), stopped, then stared down at you. His dark chocolate eyes were framed with pale blonde lashes, so thick and long they looked like they belonged into a mascara advertisement. You‘d never noticed that before.
"Lads loved it," he said, voice gruff as usual. "And so do I."
"I-I‘m glad, sir!" You stuttered out, then returned the crinkly-eyed smile he gifted you.
Simon didn’t say anything more, simply continued on his way, red dust creating a fine layer on top of his gear. But the small keychain fastened to one of the many criss-crossing straps on his backpack reflected back at you, bouncing with each of his steps.
I‘d rather be reading! the little bookworm exclaimed, making you hide a smile behind your hand, before hurrying along in the opposite direction.
