Happy Birthday Mitsuki!!

This was done pretty much last minute. As you know, I always do this every year, and I tend to do it early just in case I forget. This year wasn't the case I forgot, but more likely I'm not in such good spirits overall -_- STILL, I didn't want to miss the date. My intention was to use watercolor(funny, last year was the exact same thing, but as soon as I paint, I don't like it lol) Tropical themed bc Mitsuki is a summer child, even if I don't really see him using short sleeves(Am I the only one?? lol)

I decided to make this post based on @hotmonkeelove comment ♡ I appreciate it (I love interacting with MitsuCho stans) It's about Chocho becoming more secretive about her feelings when she truly falls in love...

It's something that could really happen, and what makes me almost certain of it is the way she handed the fries to Mitsuki: they didn't show her face, she didn't say anything to him, she just handed the fries to Mitsuki and left him as quickly as possible..

(And i'm not saying she immediately fell in love with him - unfortunately)

Thats poetic: A random boy she thought was strange, made analogies with things she truly love, questioned her and made her reflect.

It wasn't just someone pointing out that she was acting strange. This was intriguing and touching for her. It quickly generated new feelings towards Mitsuki (not love, but the feeling that he's a nice guy, all this because of his attitude with the little details about her ♡).

Now we just have to wait for him to make a move in the manga towards her... will he?? Ikemoto please ;-;

I know many people think he's making fun of her, but under the context of Mitsuki not being human and starting to learn things, you could guess he was being genuine, thinking she had a real (medical) condition when she said he was into her lol.

Seeing ep 7 again and it wasn't actually about that guy's crush on Sumire and him being possessed by "evil" chakra; it was all about CHOCHO!!! (I'm referring to the KEY POINT of the ep.) Her influence and how she was/is a light too, yk - that’s how I saw it. And the episode title is "Love and POTATO" 🦋 thing.

Funny thing: Mitsuki expected Boruto to be the "sun" for the guy—who, by the way, is just as pale as Mitsuki... hmm...—but the one who turned out to be the "sun" for him was Chocho!!!

SN: It was a missed opportunity to add to the MitsuCho dynamic... I mean, they could have focused on Mitsuki admiring Chocho's attitude... something like that.

Because he was waiting something from Boruto,🐍 "What are you going to do now?" and Chocho was like: "HOLD UP!! Hold my potato chips for a sec, 'cause *I'M* gonna be the light here today" ✨️💅🏽... 😆 the vibe that was given hehe

Yes! This is what I mean when I say she reminds me of Naruto. Chouchou can effectively talk to no-jutsu people. happened with Magire(guy in example). It happened with Sarada too(Though in the anime it changed the interaction with Mitsuki for some reason, well, I guess they can be implied Chouchou and Mitsuki are kinda similar too) I remember even the Inohima episode, she was trying to cheer up Inojin.

Lol I didn't remember Mitsuki was expecting Boruto to do the job XD There must have been a moment where Mitsuki "noticed" Chouchou, as by her arc and by his own arc it was implied he had been paying attention to what she says on the regular. Could be because she hangs a lot with Sarada too

Yeah! Chocho has always offered emotional support to other characters (sometimes in a funny way, and other times more directly and seriously). I’m hoping they explore that side of her in the manga with Mitsuki 🙌🏽

Regarding Mitsuki noticing her in other episodes—yeah, that’s true. But my point is specifically about Episode 7: the production team focused on Mitsuki’s expectations regarding Boruto—how he (the sun) would resolve the situation.

but Chocho was the one acting as the "sun" in that moment, and the episode's production didn't even show a reaction from Mitsuki...

They show Boruto and Sarada's reactions to Chocho's speech, but not Mitsuki's?? I found that odd—it's not a big deal—just a thought that crossed my mind.

And another thing: when they finally decide to focus on him again, it's just to show that he's suspicious of Sumire... like... come on ;-;

He didn't even need to say anything; just a facial expression would have been enough to add to the MitsuCho moments 😭💕

He definitely noticed what Chocho did; I’m sure of that. But I wish they had focused on his face and made it explicit to the audience.

At least we got this cute frame ♡ ;-;

Hehe, there aren't many ships that are like mch (visually and dynamic wise) that always make me smile bc it's unique and out of the ordinary.

I was recalling the days I used to play absolutely everything that my big brothers bought, and I remember DMC2. I know it's a shit DMC bc not really balanced(I honestly couldn't tell, I just played. In retrospect, I should have know bc I finished it really quick lol)but also bc they made Dante edgy and serious when he is super cringy. Anyway, I kinda shipped Dante and Lucia! I know Dante's LI should be Trish(Tho... Capcom why did you made it weird with the mom clone thing :A:)Or literally any girl that came after lol. I feel he is the type of chara that would be hard to settle down for one girl yet I have a soft spot for DantexLucia. I wish I had seen that cringy Dante interacting with the more stoic Lucia(even more knowing she had feelings for him, according to some official novel or whatever!)

Seen most of the ship dynamics that I enjoy. I think I like it when the guy is more sultry and teasy/playful and the girl is more stoic or uninterested(apparently lol) While it's not exactly what mch is, I kinda see a similar air :p

So I found out some species of swallowtail butterflies(like the one above, its a pipevine)are poisonous. Let's not forget Chouchou has a strong resistance for drugs, maybe even poison? The motif on her haori and the shape of the wing of her BM are the same shape as a swallowtail (Coincidentally another type of swallowtail caterpillar is the famous one that looks like a snake)

The mch son and daughter, let me be delusional for a second ok?

IDK if this was meant to play a role or not, wish there would be more than just hand expansion jutsu(heck I think she did once a leg expansion in the anime) or if her lightning release will be ever be touch... I understand whenever there is dissatisfaction with the side characters' performance in the manga but as much as I'm tired of complaining bout mch, same happens with them as individuals. Its really hard to get excited.

Have a random Mitsuki(who is currently being taken hostage by a chair) I wanted to pair it up with the Chouchou drawing but I got tired...

Chocho Akimichi potential because I’m feeling hyped about her getting more scenes.

Boruto spoilers, of course

Pictures used because of how similar they felt. It seems that Hima needs to work communication.

This chapter is one of my favorites. I have my thoughts about it, I just want to glaze Chocho. Thinking about what she could gain if Kashin Koji spoke to her next. It’s actually unlikely that he’ll talk to her, since her abilities aren’t for helping everyone like Inojin’s, but I don’t care.

Chocho should be trained by Sakura to perfect chakra control so she can learn Chakra Enhanced Strength.

Expecting Ikemoto to give her the Byakugo Seal is me being greedy so I’m not going to touch that. This will save a lot of her chakra anyway.

Sakura and Tsunade (and Sarada, but she’s not as developed yet) do more damage with a single punch infused with a little bit of chakra, than any Akimichi does with all of their own while in Butterfly Mode.

Sarada is clearly like Sakura for obvious reasons. Chocho is similar to Ino. Sakura and Ino are close friends, Sarada and Chocho are (or were 😞) best friends.

She wasn’t better, but Ino learned enough Medical Ninjutsu alongside Sakura.

Chocho and Sarada are brawlers/damagers so they should do the same with CES. Unless there will be a flashback showing that they’ve been doing that, I’m not too hopeful. This should at least be implied, or happen because of Kashin Koji mentioning it. Give me that “Sakura Sensei”. Or Chocho can just ask to learn from Sarada which will make them finally SPEAK to each other.

Chocho can have high chakra stored by eating + prolonged Butterfly Mode by using less chakra. It’ll be like imagining a flying combat only Sakura with other Akimichi abilities and more. Our girls design is a perfect mix of Choji x Karui but her powers are not. Lightning release will fix that. Someone pointed out her jacket is similar to the Fourth Raikage (possibly even the arm warmers) and surely adult Choji, so that made me fully appreciate her design. Hopefully that will foreshadow her learning Lightning Cloak because A has the time to teach her.

Something everyone has been expecting: Human Boulder + Lightning Cloak; she’s Sonic the Hedgehog now lol.

Butterfly Mode + Chakra Enhanced Strength + Lightning Cloak would be insane. That might sound stronger, but Human Boulder + Lightning Cloak is pretty much a shredder. Human Boulder is supposed to drill an enemy while holding them in place, making it not useless in comparison. The others are clearly useful and I would never want her to abandon them. She’s been knocking guys down, catching teammates, and I can’t wait to see more. On the first chapter, the way she used human boulder, blew away shuriken, grabbed Himawari, and landed on the tree? Hell yeah, she’s gotten smarter. No one can tell me that this Chocho can’t learn CES.

I don’t care if she wouldn’t be strong enough to defeat Itachi 😂 

I just want her to be strong by “without genetic hax” standards. So she should have a skillset similar to this eventually.

Another MitsuCho Theory (Spoilers)

I come back to fandoms and crazy stuff is happening in each one. Everything except a Mitsuki and Chocho moment or Chainsaw Man characters being happy lol. Besides that, let me get started. Because I will never stop. 

This is half a “where else are we going with these characters in a story about love” and “I love this ship” theory.

This theory of mine is under the idea of Mitsuki becoming a Shinju. Let’s say he does! I cannot be the only shipper thinking this:

Shinju go after the one they love most, so this is an interesting thing to happen to Mitsuki. Of course I think Chocho would be his target.

Chocho believes Mitsuki likes her + Mitsuki admitted that Chocho stands out = possible foreshadowing at Shinju Mitsuki going after Chocho. 

The symbolism is amazing because then we’ll get Butterfly Mode vs Snake Sage Mode. Pink vs Green, let’s go. God just imagine that chapter cover.

Things this might make a callback to:

Tragic Heroine Syndrome.

Orochimaru’s eyes swirled like “a snake chasing a butterfly” (this one is weaker because it wasn’t actually said)

“The path I walk, is that of the snake.”

Here we worried that Konohamaru would be the one to show the viewer what exactly happens when a target is consumed.

If it’s Chocho, I’m going to lose it. Snakes eat butterflies, Shinju eat their target, so… that’s the biggest reason I dislike this. Proving MitsuCho canon is not worth losing one 😭

Every theory has its problems though. Where are their interactions?

Anyway, Shinju Mitsuki being named Tsukimi? Symbolizing harvesting his target, or is that too on the nose? I’d like to hear thoughts on that.

(Also I have questions I’m sure many others asked: where is the sweet InoShikaCho + Himawari moment when Inojin woke up? When are Sakura and Sarada going to talk? When are Chocho and Sarada going to talk? Is Chocho’s necklace supposed to match Sarada’s? I really hope so.)

I miss when the fandom was doing theories and such!

I was thinking Shinju mch would be awesome, not sure if it's gonna happen tbh! If there is only one option, I think I would choose Chouchou to become one. I want to see evil Chouchou destroying things haha, also would be cute she had been growing feelings for Mitsuki during the TS (but at the same time I feel using the Shinju to push the ship forward when it had so much potential on its own it's kinda sad ._.)

I've seen talks about the necklace but I can't figure out what shape it has(like the one she previously had before the TS)

This does feel sad, but it’s messed up by not allowing them to interact more before the timeskip. And I really don’t know where this ship can go when they have two obstacles: Sun/Moon thing (maybe) and the Eida love thing. Shinju forces out true feelings which makes sense for a synthetic human like Mitsuki who keeps questioning himself.

I think many expected to see Mind Destruction + Wind Style + Butterfly Mode vs Matsuri. I don’t know where else they could place her strongest ability in the story without sidelining her. InoShikaCho + Himawari vs. Jura won’t happen for a second time because Hima will fight beside her brothers.

As for the necklace, it looks like a metal circle but I’m not sure. It seemed a little plain but if it’s to match Sarada, I won’t complain. Unlikely though since they don’t get any interactions either…

Birthday Boy - Birthday Girl

Hey guys I'm trying the schedule thingy hope it gets posted on time and not in whatever. I find it really hard to get it right on Tumblr for some reason :_:

Anyway, this is the whole picture!! I really like how it turned out. My original intention was to do this on watercolor(I had my colors chosen and everything)but what I thought it was big, wasn't big enough. This pic is 16x16 cm aprox, but to paint their little face with my shitty pulse and tired eyes, I was messing it all over.

SO! this illust is big enough to print, I'm leaving the full res here and on Pixiv, you can grab it and print it as you like. OFC for personal use, you can use it in your crafts(like journaling etc) paste on your walls, or gift it to friends, up to you :D!
