It’s been a while since a story had me this invested, so I had to express my love with art! 💕
Shout out to the ten primate species, four bat species, elephant shrews, and the Cairo spiny mouse. Nobody else gets it

Early on in Twilight/MS, when Edward is still in semi-denial about Bella but telepathically keeping tabs on her, he’s walking to class and happens to mentally drop in on Jessica as Bella is telling her: “I prefer Spike, actually. He doesn’t need some artificial soul to do good things and try to be a better person; he does it for love.”
Edward loses his balance for the first time in 84 years, and a locker meets its demise by his forehead

Inspired entirely by this post. The tweets are golden, and I thank you for your service in collecting them @jennifercheckwannabeme

That’s why you should never accept the excuse “Well it was a different time.” They knew it was wrong. They always knew.

Oh my god
See the thing is, Martha and Jonathan’s concerns are not totally unwarranted, Alicia drugging Clark does represent a slip back into her old obsessive behavior, Alicia did try to kill Lana before, and the locked room nature of the attempt does significantly reduce the number of people who would have had the means to do it. It’s not remotely a smoking gun, but it is reason to be careful.
But I cannot take any of their concerns seriously and am rejecting them out of hand, because they’ve already proven that they are absolutely not willing to give Alicia a sliver of a chance. It’s very clear that they are going to latch on to any excuse to reject Alicia, so why should I trust anything they say about her?
Chloe: so I didn’t know Alicia had money. Why didn’t you tell me?
Clark: *eyebrows furrowed* I wasn’t aware that she did.
Lex:*shrugging* you couldn’t tell that from her shoes?
Lana: they’re red bottoms.
Clark: I’M POOR!!!
I'm leaving for two weeks and I'm very busy right now but I wanted to give you a glimpse of part 13 :) Take care, Reylos, I'll be back soon!

much gratitude to my lovely proofreader @dilly-dahlia - who by the way has never seen nor read LOTR and is god's strongest soldier for putting up with my shenanigans
