Andrew Tate randomly decided to come for Greta Thunberg. Greta replies in what was the biggest burn of the century. Andrew claps back with a video where he is eating pizza. Romanian authorities realize that he is eating pizza from a Romanian pizza chain thus confirming that he was in the country and are able to track down his location. Andrew Tate is then arrested for *allegedly* human trafficking. You cannot make this shit up.

Andrew Tate is a former kickboxer who later rose to fame as an Internet celebrity.

Tate moved from the United Kingdom to Romania in 2017, saying “40 percent” of the reason for his move was Romania would be less likely to investigate him for sexual assault.

Andrew Tate is known for his misogynistic messages, including his idea that sexual assault victims share responsibility for their assaults, women “belong in the home” and they “can’t drive.” Andrew Tate proclaimed that women are “given to the man and belong to the man.” Tate also announced he prefers dating 18-year-olds and 19-year-olds because they are likely to have had sex with fewer men.

His misogynistic messages caused him to be suspended from social media platforms like Twitter.

After acquiring Twitter, Elon Musk unbanned Andrew Tate’s Twitter account in November 2022.

For some unknown reason, Tate decided in December 2022 to go after Greta Thunberg, a teenager known for her climate advocacy. Tate tagged Greta in a tweet about his carbon-emitting automobiles and asked for her email address so he could send her more information. 

Greta responds with a burn so awesome it gets huge attention, becoming the 7th-mosted-liked tweet ever. An embarrassed Andrew is desperate to not be seen as a laughing stock and so responds with a rude video in which he is in a Versace robe, smoking a cigar. Someone hands him two boxes of Jerry’s Pizza, a popular Romanian chain, and Tate says to the person, “make sure that these boxes are not recycled.”

The Tate brothers have been under investigation by Romanian police since April. Romanian officials use the video as proof Tate was in the country and raid his villa, as well as the house of a former policewoman suspected of being involved. Prosecutors state they found and identified six women who were being sexually exploited by the suspects in various locations throughout Bucharest; including being coerced into filming pornography.

Andrew Tate, his brother, the former policewoman, and an unnamed fourth Romanian individual are interrogated and detained. Both Tate brothers are charged with human trafficking and forming an organized crime group; one of the four suspects (they didn’t identify who) is charged with rape. 

Upon learning of the arrest of Andrew Tate, Greta tweets the quip, “this is what happens when you don’t recycle your pizza boxes”
