I don’t think I fully realized just how many kids are being straight up emotionally neglected by their parents until I had tiktok (deleted it a while ago but still) like there is absolutely no way that a 12 year old who is getting the appropriate amount of attention at home is going to be on tiktok unsupervised for 10 hours a day talking about how they have 70 different very rare mental illnesses and 600 different genders. like I saw kids who claimed to have such severe dissociative identity disorder that they have over a thousand different anime characters living in their head
also I hope everyone eventually realizes how fucking gross and creepy it is that grown adults online are making these kids even more unwell by convincing them that their parents are transphobic and ableist for not affirming all of their different made up genders and their 10000 different self-diagnosed disorders. every adult who does this needs to be put on a watch list and im not kidding
this is a great point actually - it is 100% normal for kids that age to have phases where they just simply lie for fun. I had a friend in 7th grade who completely unironically tried to convince us that she was a vampire and had a werewolf boyfriend from texas who died by running into a tree, now we both just laugh about it but if she would’ve posted all of that online and had a bunch of grown adults telling her “actually you are a vampire and anyone telling you you’re not is a nazi and wants to genocide you” then that could’ve possibly derailed her entire life
And even without the outside validation this new version of lying is both much less interesting than claiming to be a vampire/werewolf/alien/witch/fairy, and a lot more concerning. Being a vampire is impossible and cool, having a mental illness is possible and it sucks. And online it can become contagious.
Teens have literally developed tics from tiktok (yes, really). Disproportionately girls and trans identified teens...
"The adolescents were overwhelmingly girls, or were transgender or nonbinary — though no one knows why."
No one knows why teen girls would be particularly vulnerable to this, not like being a teen girl in a patriarchal, hypersexualized and pedophilic society is horrifically stressful! No one knows why teens who are susceptible to one form of social contagion would also be susceptible to another!
DID claims in particular seem like a loneliness thing, like a lot of kids don't have many irl friends so they've made up friends who live in their heads.
Plenty of these kids probably do have mental illnesses, just not all of the ones they're claiming, and if they don't to start with, being immersed in that culture will give them one.
“I believe that we should make community college free. We should have debt-free college if you got to a public college or university. You should not have to borrow a dime to pay tuition… I disagree with free college for everybody. I don’t think taxpayers should be paying to send Donald Trump’s kids to college.“ [video link]
Don’t spread misinformation just to fit a narrative, Clinton is advocating for there to be a cap on who gets free college so that the government doesn’t have to subsidize the education of people with enough disposable income to pay for it themselves. The plan she’s proposing would have a better chance of being passed, is more cost-effective, and still opens up higher education to low-income individuals who previously couldn’t afford it.
Reblogging this as an example of what the Russian interference here on tumblr was. I have seen some people in the past days casting doubts on Tumblr because the blogs that were banned had social justice content.
But that was the point exactly. They posted some real things and a lot of half-truths that would appeal to the kind of politics on here and therefore spread disinformation to discourage us from participating in stopping Trump through the only option we had. I’m glad tumblr left these posts up so we could see for ourselves.
I don’t know if it actually worked on anyone, I hope we all remember to check our sources before making our decisions, but life is short and maybe some people didn’t. There are plenty of real social justice blogs available still, so I hope we will follow those instead.
Reblogging this now. Because some of you think that a leftist space can be trusted. They can’t. Lagonegirl posted content that had nothing to do with politics, it made her seem like a real person.
She was not. There were SO many posts by her that got big numbers and most of them were fine. That was an illusion so that when she posted things like this it might not click like it would if it were loudly pro- Trump.
You see a blog that is leftist but only critical of the more “safe bet” cookie cutter candidate and has very little to say about the obviously right wing, objectively worse for everything you stand for candidate?
Whenever I say "No Men in Women’s Prisons" I didn't just mean Trans Identified Males, I mean no male staff either.

By Connor Sheets Sat, December 27, 2025
A federal lawsuit filed on behalf of dozens of current and former inmates in Los Angeles County’s women’s jail claims male correctional officers watched them shower, harassed and groped them and retaliated when the alleged abuses were reported.
The suit accuses deputies of taking advantage of women incarcerated at Century Regional Detention Facility in Lynwood.
The case comes amid renewed scrutiny of how the Sheriff's Department's handles abuse claims. Records reviewed by The Times show jail inmates have made nearly 600 allegations of sexual abuse or harassment against staff since 2021, but none have been referred to the L.A. County district attorney's office for prosecution.
Brian Dunn, managing partner and lead civil rights attorney with the Cochran Firm, which brought the case on behalf of 38 women in late October, said in an interview that dozens of inmates shared "chilling" allegations of “brazen” sexual abuse and harassment.
“It seemed to be happening with such frequency that it was like a practice. ... This is something that has been accepted,” he said. “It’s heartbreaking for me to hear these women crying and the only thing you can do is sue.”
The Sheriff’s Department said in a statement that, after learning about Dunn’s lawsuit, it “initiated a review of the claims to ensure that all appropriate investigative and administrative processes were followed.”
“The safety, dignity, and constitutional rights of every individual in our custody remain our top priority,” the department added. “We are committed to transparent operations, thorough investigations, and maintaining the highest standards of professional conduct.”
The civil complaint filed in the Central District of California says abuses occurred in the Lynwood jail's administrative segregation unit, also known as “the hole.” The lawsuit claims women were often sent there for disciplinary purposes — and that deputies would watch as they showered nude. The suit says the practice violates a federal law called the Prison Rape Elimination Act, which prohibits “cross-gender viewing" by staff.
The complaint alleges a “systemic and ongoing practice which concerns the cross-gender viewing of completely nude female inmates by male correctional officers.”
It describes an area next to the shower stalls referred to by inmates and deputies as the “cop shop,” from which male correctional officers “routinely engage in frequent and prolonged unobstructed viewing of the entire nude bodies of female inmates taking showers.”
While escorting women to the stalls, the complaint states, male guards allegedly “intentionally press their crotches against the handcuffed hands of the female inmates ... and intentionally fondle the inmates’ hips, buttocks, and bodies in a sexual manner.”
Deputies "routinely and intentionally set the water temperature at a scalding or near-scalding level,” the complaint added, “which forces the female inmates taking showers to move hurriedly and squirm erratically” and “often results in the female inmates’ breasts jiggling and wiggling demonstrably in full view of the male correctional officers in the adjacent ‘cop shop.’”
The Sheriff's Department said in a statement that "[t]here is an ongoing inquiry into the claims" and that it "maintains a zero-tolerance policy towards any form of sexual abuse or harassment within its facilities.”
The statement added that it “takes all allegations of sexual misconduct, abuse of authority, and violations of Department policy extremely seriously."
The Sybil Brand Commission, the independent oversight body for L.A. County's jails, has documented similar complaints from female inmates in recent months.
The commission, which performs inspections on unannounced visits to the jails, said in an October report that multiple inmates "allege a deputy observes women showering from the lower level, escorts women while leaving them exposed in shower, and makes them wait unclothed before returning to their cells. Fear of retaliation deters reporting."
Commission Chair Haley Broder described the inmates as "some of the most vulnerable women on earth. They can’t do anything; they’re locked in cells and being retaliated against if they report it.”
Defendants in the federal lawsuit include L.A. County, Sheriff Robert Luna and three of his predecessors, and a dozen jail staffers.
The Sheriff’s Department said in a statement that two deputies named in the lawsuit "are actively working," with one now at Men's Central Jail and another still in Lynwood.
One of the two men previously worked as the Prison Rape Elimination Act compliance manager at the women's jail, according to the complaint.
Last month, The Times reported that out of 592 inmate claims of sexual abuse or harassment by deputies filed since 2021, none were deemed "substantiated" by Sheriff's Department investigators.
Over that period, according to a review of D.A.'s office records by The Times, the Sheriff's Department referred none of those cases to L.A. County prosecutors, who decide whether there is enough evidence to file charges.
“The DA’s office has brought no cases against sheriff’s deputies for sexual assault crimes committed against inmates” since 2021, the office confirmed in an email. It added that it is “not aware of any such cases recently presented by LASD for filing consideration involving deputies accused of sexually assaulting inmates.”
The Sheriff's Department said in a statement that since 2021 it has sent nine cases for review by either its Internal Affairs or Internal Criminal Investigation bureaus, all of which “are still being actively investigated.” It added that “[o]nce a criminal investigation is completed, investigators will present the case to the District Attorney’s Office for filing consideration.”
The department has acted against at least one deputy in response to an inmate’s claims of sexual misconduct in recent years. In November 2023, deputy Jonathan Tejada Paredes was arrested on suspicion that he sexually assaulted an inmate while he was working in the women’s jail in Lynwood.
But court records show that no county or federal charges have been filed against Tejada Paredes. The D.A.’s office said it “has not received this matter for charging consideration.”
Jacqueline Sparagna, an attorney for Tejada Paredes, denied any wrongdoing by her client and confirmed that he has not been charged. She added that while the government goes out of its way to thoroughly investigate allegations against law enforcement officers, “there are likely problems with the" Paredes case, such as a lack of corroborating evidence or credibility questions.
Asked about the status of the claim against Tejada Paredes, the Sheriff’s Department said an “investigation is currently ongoing.”
In the past, the Sheriff’s Department has referred a number of cases of deputies accused by inmates of sexual assault for prosecution. For instance, Giancarlo Scotti, who worked at the Lynwood women’s jail, was charged by the D.A.'s office in 2018 with assaulting six inmates there after being arrested and placed on administrative leave by the Sheriff’s Department the prior year while the department investigated the allegations.
In 2019, court records show Scotti pleaded no contest to six counts of sexual activity with an inmate, ward or parolee. A judge sentenced him to two years in state custody, with a recommendation that his term be served in a state fire camp.
A review of county records shows that the Sheriff's Department has referred a number of deputies for prosecution on sexual abuse charges since 2021 — just not in cases with inmates as alleged victims.
Last year, according to a D.A.'s office memo, the office declined to bring criminal charges against a correctional officer after a Sheriff's Department investigation found he had allegedly committed sexual battery against a female colleague at Twin Towers Correctional Facility in 2022. The D.A.'s memo cited questions about whether the deputy's conduct constituted sexual battery, the alleged victim's response and whether there was enough evidence to corroborate her claims.
The lack of transparency around how jail sexual abuse claims are investigated has raised alarms among local watchdogs.
“The public is not getting the truth from the Sheriff’s Department. We deserve real, accurate data about people being raped or assaulted in our jails, not hogwash,” said Hans Johnson, chair of the Los Angeles County Sheriff Civilian Oversight Commission.
Max Huntsman, who retired as L.A. County inspector general earlier this month, told The Times in November that he believes the Sheriff’s Department is “not in compliance with PREA in many senses,” including its internal policies and the physical state of its aging jails.
An April report by Huntsman's office “found that many allegations remain unresolved in quarterly reports, raising concerns about the thoroughness of investigations” under the federal law.
Some investigations, the inspector general’s office wrote, did not include “a thorough description of physical and testimonial evidence,” and investigators “did not appear to interview all potential involved persons” in some cases.
The cross-gender viewing allegations at the Lynwood women's jail are "one of many times when the county could have avoided litigation by simply correcting conditions," Huntsman said.
As of Oct. 27, 30 of the 38 women who signed on to the lawsuit alleging rampant cross-gender viewing at the Lynwood jail remained incarcerated there.
"Behind every one of those paragraphs in that complaint is a human story," said Dunn, the lawyer representing the female inmates.

The US House just voted 215 to 208 to end hostilities with Iran. ☮️
A bipartisan majority in the Republican-led House voted on Wednesday to end the war with Iran, the clearest rebuke yet of President Trump's handling of the conflict and the subsequent economic fallout.
The war powers resolution passed by a vote of 215 to 208, with four Republicans joining Democrats in support.
The resolution had originally been set for a vote two weeks ago, but Republican leaders sent House members home early for a May recess when it appeared the largely Democratic-backed measure had enough Republican votes for passage. However, the extended break didn't shift GOP support to kill the measure.
A caveat about its effect...
The vote is mostly symbolic. Democrats, despite multiple attempts, have been unable to pass a war powers resolution through the Republican-led Senate. Even if the measure passed in Congress, it would almost certainly be vetoed by President Trump, whose administration has questioned the constitutionality of the War Powers Act.
Still, Senate Democrats have been inching closer. Last month, they won support on a procedural measure to set up a war powers vote after a handful of Republicans broke ranks to join them. A final vote has yet to be scheduled.
The NY Times reports...
Republican Representatives Tom Barrett of Michigan, Brian Fitzpatrick of Pennsylvania, Warren Davidson of Ohio and Thomas Massie of Kentucky crossed party lines to vote with Democrats in favor of the resolution. Representative Jared Golden, Democrat of Maine, who had previously opposed similar measures, switched his position to support it.
Though the few defections were notable, almost every Republican voted against the resolution. Most of them have accepted the Trump administration’s claim that Iran posed an imminent threat to the United States, the legal threshold under the War Powers Resolution of 1973 for the president to order attacks on a foreign adversary without the permission of Congress.
If Trump were smart (SPOILER: he's not), he'd not fight this resolution. He has essentially lost the war. This would give him a relatively face-saving excuse to cut his losses. Instead he will double down and again make squealing toddlers seem reasonable and mature.
If nothing else, this vote is a slap in the face to Trump which makes him look like an even biggeer loser.
I want men to try and imagine going about your day–working, running, hiking, whatever–and not being allowed to wear pants under threats of violence or total social and economic exclusion.
That’s the kind of irrationally violent and controlling behaviour women have been up against.
Also for anyone who thinks it’s easy for women to be gender non conforming because we can wear pants.
The only reason we can is because we fought tooth and nail for the right to! Any rights we take for granted today we’re the result of a prolonged, bitter battle fought by our predecessors for every inch of territory gained. Never forget that.
it makes me really sad that three years ago a study was conducted and they found that an incredible number of popular/leading menstruation brands have arsenic/lead/other heavy metals in their products, and no one raised a big enough fuss so the majority of period products-buying women don’t know that they’re exposed, against their will and without their knowledge, to dangerous substances. PERIOD PRODUCTS! the vagina absolutely and obviously absorbs this shit, and the manufacturers know this. to me the idea of lead and arsenic being in a tampon that is inserted into a vagina and kept inside for several hours is horror movie type shit. lead causes dementia! why does no one care? and it’s not only tampons; the study exposed chemicals in pads, liners, and they even found traces in period panties. so not only do these companies get away with this, it’s almost entirely impossible to find safe products with this in mind.
there are safe brands that exist. but think about how many women and girls menstruate in the world, and how many of them are using period products, and how many of them are being exposed to shit like lead and arsenic over the course of their menstruation experience.
okay i wouldn’t date a trans man either, but if someone i found very attractive identified as a man on the inside it wouldn’t immediately undo my physical attraction to them. because remember nowadays many trans men are identifying as “femboys” and literally are not feminine than me, like they wear dresses and fake lashes and makeup. like if bella hadid said she identified as a man on the inside without changing anything about her appearance and I’m still sexually attracted to her, does that make me bisexual, because i’m now attracted to a man? really????
and again with the definition changing, and then acting all condescending about it. lesbian has been used to refer to female same-sex attraction and female homosexuality for like a century now, because of Sappho and the isle of lesbos. at the time that the usage of the word “lesbian” to refer to female homosexuality became popular, no one on earth had uttered the words “non-binary”, “non-man”, “organic strap”, etc. a singular time, so no that’s not “quite literally” the definition. if i changed the definition of “straight man” to be a 5’8 masc lesbian with brown hair, i’d QUITE LITERALLY be the definition of a straight man. i identify as a straight man!!! if i changed the definition of Asian to include white people born and raised below I-10, i’d QUITE LITERALLY be the definition of Asian. see how this language stuff works? if I call an apple a hippo, then yes a hippo is a shiny red fruit that grows on trees. get it? see how it’s stupid to just mix and match these fucking brand new terms and definitions from tumblr and tiktok and then be like “🥸urmmmr that’s quite literally the definition….” you can quite literally blow it out your ass
Here's an example of how the normalization of patriarchal beauty standards hurts us all. Im perfectly able to believe that this person has never seen a woman with a happy trail, even though plenty of us have them naturally (I have one myself). The fact that the vast majority of women are removing this totally natural, harmless feature makes women feel like freaks for having it themselves.
My mother worried if I was shaving my stomach (because (I forgot if this is true, so I'll say it's) her mindset about shaving making hair thicker) or had PMOS when the hair on my stomach first showed itself when I was like, 13-15. I've never seen a woman like me, with hair like that, in real life.
I understand that desisted people do not go through hormones and face permanent damage through medical intervention, but people act as if the phase is experimental and just a quirky time of your life if you are. But that phase had once consumed me.
You are skating on thin ice with these communities. Being told that if you don't get medical intervention, you will die. Delving into self-harm. Hypersexualizing. Burying your same sex attraction like it's something to be ashamed of. The possibility of causing damage to your body through binding. Losing friends. Mentally degrading yourself ever time you look into a mirror because of your biological reality.
It consumes every bit of your life. So no, it's not a silly pronouns changing phase. It is traumatizing.
I feel like I need to share this because idk if Europeans are familiar with the presence of Aldi in the US, but at least especially in my area they’ve been growing a lot recently. Like Aldi bought out some local failing grocery chains where I live (Louisiana) and have opened Aldis in all these somewhat rural communities and small towns, which for the record I’m fine with
But as a result of this they are advertising a lot more in my area and also in many cases, the people in these areas have never been confronted with Aldi or any European grocery store. So the ads that Aldi is pushing out to its new US customer base feature a cowboy shopping at Aldi who is explaining to new Aldi customers how Aldi works. Like this cowboy is explaining you gotta put a quarter in the shopping cart and why there are very little name brands. A cowboy is how they want to reach their American customer base. They gave us a cowboy
Let me describe to you what kind of world gender abolitionists actually dream about:
When a child would be born it’s biological sex, being an actual physical reality, would be noticed but not a single assumption regarding the child’s personality would be made based on it.
Growing up, children would be free to chose what toys and clothes they prefer. If they want to play with toy trucks or dolls, it would be fine either way. If they want to dress comfortably or in frilly colorful dresses, it would be fine.
Certain personality traits would not be encouraged in members of one sex and discouraged in the other. Females would be free to be strong, brave and assertive and males would not be shamed for being shy and soft spoken.
No female child would be called a tomboy and no male child would be called a sissy. No kid would ever be bullied for what we in our gendered world call “gender expression”.
When children would reach puberty they would still be free to dress how they want. Females would not be pressured to wear clothes that reveal their bodies and males would not be shamed if they chose to. Everybody would have a free choice of accessories, which would not be categorized as “men’s” or “women’s” but people could should whichever they liked. Or chose to not wear accessories at all if that’s what they are more comfortable with.
Females would not be pressured to keep their bodies slim, soft and hairless. Males would not be pressured to be athletic and muscular. Expectations of femininity and masculinity upon the body would not exist and affect negatively people’s relationship with their own body.
Everyone could choose a career without fearing stigmatization within that particular field because of their biological sex. The most important thing would be competence and not what someone has between their legs.
Domestic work would not be considered “women’s work” and would be shared equally between the sexes.
Biological sex would only be thought about when relevant. And everyone would be free to be themselves without ever having to worry about gender expectations. Nobody would feel the need to repress certain parts of their personality and exaggerate others in order to fit into some gender role that is being forced on them.
Gender abolitionism is not about restricting people’s choices but about giving them greater freedom.
The notes on this post are pretty interesting, but here’s my input as a trans girl:
Some of this sounds great. Don’t force certain personality or behavior on kids. Don’t pressure people to maintain a specific physique.
Some of it sounds like absolute hell. I cope with my gender dysphoria by doing things that are generally considered feminine. I want to dress a certain way because that style of dress is feminine. I use GENDER EXPRESSION to EXPRESS my GENDER, because if I don’t - or in this supposedly perfect world - I CAN’T, then my dysphoria goes off the wall with no gender euphoria to offset it.
I don’t think there is anything wrong with having gender tied to certain elements of self-expression. The problem is not that male and female things exist - it’s that current social norms enforce those concepts too strictly. Men can enjoy feminine things; that certainly does not mean the PERSON is feminine, but the THING he enjoys can still be considered as such.
Gender “norms” allow people to identify ourselves and each other. My entire life revolves around this. My happiness revolves around identifying myself as woman, and part of that includes having others also identify me as a woman. In a world where gender and gender norms do not exist, my identity and sense of self also cease to exist.
Honestly, living in a world like that sounds even worse.
What you’re effectively saying is that you want your life and purpose to be dictated not by your own interests as a free person, but by some feminine ideal. An ideal which cannot exist independently of oppressive sex-based stereotypes and a hetero-patriarchal power structure. That’s insane. I know you’re a sissification/forced-feminization enthusiast, based on the content of your side blog. It’s obvious that your views on this matter and your perception of reality have been perverted by that fetish, so I’m going to suggest that you seek help for porn addiction.
This is why we say certain trans activists perspectives and goals are anti feminist and incompatible with female liberation.
We are not stopping you from being who you want to be; you are stopping us from dismantling our sex-based oppression.
If the goal of trans and non binary people is to maintain gender and therefore female oppression and male supremacy, just so that their identities are validated, then they are choosing to stand directly in the way of feminist goals and female liberation from sex based oppression.
If MY chains must remain in place so that your self expression can be “validated,” then YOU are standing in the way of my liberation.
I will NOT sacrifice my safety and freedom for your validation.
Despite the nauseating response to this post by mra’s and transwomen, I know at least 3 women that were peaked by the astoundingly, thoughtlessly selfish, self serving, unempathetic response of someone born male at birth, who enjoyed all of the privileges therein, telling women, girls and transmen that it didn’t really matter that all of us suffer under sex based oppression from birth, because what really matters to him, is that the world sees him as a submissive, decorative object. It’s rare for them to actually come out and say it, but this post was responsible for at least 3 women peaking that I’m aware of personally. Listen to transwomen, and they will tell you exactly how sexist they really are.
Since this post has crossed my dash again, I would like to take the time to reiterate and clarify exactly what my response to the initial post means.
Gender, the idea that there are things that are masculine and things that are feminine, is just another way of saying sex stereotypes. Sex stereotypes exist to reinforce male supremacy and female subordination.
There is literally no reason other than reinforcing oppression to associate stereotypes with either sex. The concepts of masculinity and femininity were only invented to serve the purpose of reinforcing male supremacy and reinforcing female subordination. These stereotypes are harmful to those who fit decently within them and even more to those who don’t (which includes trans people, among others).
If there is a group of trans activists that is claiming that dismantling these sex stereotypes is harmful to them because then they won’t be able to use the markers of sex stereotypes to demonstrate their gender identity, then they are in fact reinforcing those stereotypes and therefore reinforcing male supremacy and female subordination.
This is anti feminist and actively works against female liberation and the liberation of all people from oppressive sex stereotypes.
Supporting sex stereotypes is supporting male supremacy and female oppression.
This thread perfectly sums up how trans theories of gender EXPLICITLY DEPEND ON sex stereotypes and women’s oppression.
Everyone enjoying freedom and humanity would destroy sex stereotypes and therefore the entire structure of trans identities.
Trans theories of sex and gender are inherently patriarchy supporting and anti feminist. Which is why women fighting to be seen as human rather than as a set ideas or a role is considered offensive to them.
One time I was talking about Robin Hood with some coworkers and one guy was like “he was bad because the people he helped learned to expect handouts” and I wanted to be like… okay can you explain how that flawed capitalist propaganda applies to feudalism
That’s an exaggeration. What was invented in the 16th century was mercantilism. Capitalism really dates for the beginning of the nineteenth century, with the rise of industry and cash crops over artisans and merchants. Vulture capitalism, with the notion that companies have no duties other than generating profit, is even younger.
I think a lot of this comes from the fact that most people don’t know the formal definition of capitalism. We all know the word, we’ve all seen the jokes, but very few people bother to actually define it unless they’re talking about political theory and philosophy, so it’s easy to end up with the impression that Capitalism = Money Can Be Exchanged For Goods And Services.
Capitalism is the economic system where most of the means of production (i.e. everything people need to have to make the stuff that everyone wants) are owned by private individuals or corporations, who then hire people to provide the labor necessary to produce things, with the intent of selling the output at a profit. It’s the difference between “you’re a carpenter and you make a chair and you sell it” and “you’re Richard Q. Richington who owns a chair factory, and you pay people to sell the chairs you paid other people to make and then all the excess money goes back to you.” There have been Richard Q. Richingtons on and off throughout history, but that being the norm for every single industry is a pretty recent development.
I am going to ignore the thousands of puns I could make because I'd rather point out the fact that he's pretending to cook burgers (or whatever the fuck he's doing here. It looks like he's salting the gap in between the uncooked burgers there) while wearing a full suit.
Watching these people pretend to be normal is making me think that maybe I can see where the reptilian theorists are coming from. (Or "wormian," in this case.)
Anyway, there was a war on protein? The hell did that assumption even come from? And what's in my peanut butter?!
What an offensive thing for him to post when all our cattle ranches are getting sold to China, american beef exported out, and food prices in general—but especially meat and beef—are so high.
Genuinely, I think the most publicly visible AI advance so far this year is how thoroughly and abruptly the "image generators can't do legible text" problem has beem fixed.
For those who haven't been paying attention, this is a recent ChatGPT output. It can do this sort of dense sensible text in images totally one shot, so don't rely on bad text to identify AI images any more.
Here is the entire interaction that produced this image:
I've seen other people do much more sinister things with this! You can produce 100% realistic fake screenshots of news articles, tweets, that sort of thing, if you can convince the bot it's kosher to do so.
