Friend group chats are fun. Today one of my friends, who keeps pet crayfish, found babies in a tank that was supposed to be a males only. No choice but to empty out the whole tank to fish out the babies of unknowable origins. But lo and behold, there was a culprit: one teeny tiny little female had somehow escaped containment, evidently specifically going out of her way to break into this all male tank to get railed by like 15 males twice her size. Possibly completely different breed, too. Monsterfucker supreme.

So for a good solid hour or so, the whole group chat was focused on. slutshaming this one specific little crustacean. With like 300 babies.

Honestly the potential possibility that there is even a 1% chance that a confused cis person mistakenly gets a gender surgery they'll later regret should not be a reason to make gender-affirming surgeries harder to get. Not just because trans peoples' lives should be easier, but also because I find that thought to be fucking hilarious.

Like dude how do you accidentally sign up for get-your-dick-inverted-and-your-balls-removed surgery and now you're shocked that you got your dick undone and balls removed? The fuck did you think that was gonna do. lmao fucking idiot.

i can't express how absolutely important it is that when you make an edgy, brooding, badass character who's tough as nails and good at fighting and whatever, you HAVE to give them at least one reason to become completely helpless and pathetic. you have a panic attack quota to fulfill.

It sucks that adults' prejudices shape kids' childhoods. Like poly people having to actively worry about keeping custody of their kids just because other people who don't know them think their lifestyle is weird. Like imagine how much nicer things would be if people could just be normal about things.

Like some kid growing up in a family with Mom, Dad, and Kevin, who sleeps in dad's bed half the time and makes really good spaghetti. And that's just their primary example of what a "normal" family is. And then they go to kindergarten or something and really get to know other kids from other families for the first time and just go the fuck do you mean you don't have a Kevin? What happened to yours?

And the other kids go home asking their parents why they don't have a Kevin, because they, too, want really good spaghetti. And their parents have no fucking idea how to even begin unwrapping what the ever-loving fuck their kid is talking about.
