the new persona game will be green. It will probably be Katsura Hashino's weird old man take on "it's that damn phone". it will get extremely close to saying something really interesting/progressive. there is a decent chance it'll fumble that opportunity in an equally interesting way.

it will explode in popularity for the first year or two post launch. you'll see some absolutely maddening discourse about it roughly 6-8 months after launch. every substack opinion haver will have a big think piece about how it's mega cringe/secretly based. the discourse will start to mirror the love/hate reception every new final fantasy gets. younger zoomers will complain about "performative" persona fans. this will fucking ruin your timeline.

a couple years later, a revised version will drop. it may or may not gut interesting plot points from the original. it may or may not backtrack on bold narrative decisions. it will for sure cost 70 big ones. people will freak the fuck out. the discourse will begin anew. we've been here since 2007.

I'll probably still like it though. Maybe you will too.

HELP NEEDED

my wife and i are in a bit of financial trouble at the moment. gutted work hours, tuition bills, car needs fixed to pass inspection, and to top it off we were supposed to get a tax return but the irs decided we owe them money instead. we barely have enough money with food stamps and what we get paid to keep ourselves housed. any help would be appreciated.

most of this needs paid over the course of the summer, but mathematically we already know we can't do it on our own. we'll keep this up all summer basically.

UPDATE!!

we have paid off the irs and the tuition that we needed to but we still need money to work on the car so that my wife can keep getting to and from work and school. we havent had any donations in a few days. everything we have gotten has helped so much and for that we are so grateful but we arent out of the woods yet though and anything helps.
