“Le..vi”.. sofie was at a loss , what could she even say ? . The 15 year old boy’s face had blood on him but it wasn’t his . The one person in her life who was still in her life was hurting and she knew it . It wasn’t as if the raven haired teenager voiced his feelings but then again who was she to judge sofie wasn’t the most open when it came to her past . both sofie and levi gradually grew used living around another person instead of a solitary life in the underground. Neither could deny the feeling of knowing by intuition they could be trusted shocked them to their core . sofie couldn’t even understand why she offered to let the raven haired boy live with her. sofie wasn’t one to talk excessively. as a reserved girl who was always guarded and kept to herself that day surprised her initially she would often think ‘what the hell is wrong with me?’ . similar case for levi , when she was 14 she saw levi in the middle of changing he was wearing pants but he was half bare . sofie wasn’t blind she’s seen naked men before having their way with either forcing themselves on children or with prostitutes. but this was the first time seeing a boy her age half naked in front of her . only meaning to tell her first friend that the tea was ready her face was a deep shade of red , it took a brief moment for her to run off ashamed she walked in on the boy she liked . at the time she thought she wasn’t exactly his type. But levi was the first one she let see her , the true her .. not the cold exterior she created before she knew it he wiggled his way in and gained her trust. For the past year levi showed through his actions he truly did care about sakura . It was like any other night except she caught levi walking towards her after a job . As soon as she saw those eyes that she understood all too well . Yes she’s able to mask it almost perfectly that even her sharp eyed friend never noticed . She didn’t ask why he was depressed , no need to . “Levi you don’t need to tell me anything .. just let me help you “ showing him a soft but understanding smile. Although hesitant to do so he slowly went into her arms like they were a safe haven .tightly clutching onto her clothes like she’ll disappear without a trace . Once sakura started softly stroking his hair , the mask of his cold exterior mask began breaking piece by piece. silently he began sobbing feeling that it was safe for him to show sakura his vulnerable side . This was the anniversary of the night kuchel had succumbed to her illness . While crying levi felt tears staining the shoulder of his shirt . ‘ tears?’ Once looking up for a brief moment the boy saw the girl he grew to like in a romantic light was crying in front of him it made levi’s heart ache he hated seeing her like . ‘sakura why are you making such a pained face ?’. Taking a sip of the tea sakura made was just how he remembered it ‘it’s true it tastes good whenever she makes it ‘ . “You know Levi apart from the taste another reason i love tea is because my mother would make it for us .. to me the flavor didn’t matter but it’s the one memory i cherished the most from her” although reminiscing on the memory sakura’s eyes were glossy . He didn’t do it often but he smiled , really smiled. “Thank you y/n “ she showed him a loving smile and spoke in a soft tone. “ Of course because for you i’d do anything “ once he finished his drink levi gave his undivided attention to the girl he cherishes listening to various topics she talked about .. sakura was unaware the boy she likes was smiling at her .. a true smile that held so much affection for only her.

Arriving to her home sakura instructed to take off his shoes which he complied . Looking around levi could see sakura kept things tidy in her home which he was happy with . Walking to the kitchen levi sat down scooting the chair to the table .. “levi , do you like tea? I only have black tea “. Giving a short yes sakura moved on to prepare it . Once the tea was done steeping levi took a sip he told sakura “ It’s good”. Softly smiling at him , “I’m glad to hear that”. Seeing her smile made him blurt out “you should smile like that more often”. Surprised at his bold words there was an evident blush on her face and lightly chuckle. Talking about anything they could think of , their pasts , their likes and dislikes etc . Once finished with dinner levi did the dishes. Walking around the streets where the food stands were 12 year old sofie heard a young girl’s scream bolting to the scene as fast as she could sofie couldn’t help but think ‘damn it to hell! If i was scum like them i would’ve ignored it .. shit i’ll never stoop that low !’ . Darting to his direction to make the first punch which made the molester hit the floor “Oi”. sofie said in a low threatening tone to the man to intimidate him with her intense death glare , sofie was disgusted that an old man forced himself on a girl much younger than her. “Tch .. you’re disgusting who the fuck forces themselves on a young girl .. i’ve seen others with better morals than that you dumb fuck”. Internally the man was shaking he never saw a kid look so deadly in his life . Pushing that feeling aside the old nan made the first move . For a good while sofie had the upper hand, but she felt fatigue from fighting for so long. While that was happening a young raven haired boy was in the middle of his fight with an unknown man while a man was watching but it wasn’t just the boy he was watching . The man known as kenny the ripper looked away for a few moments and noticed a white haired girl. Her clothes and haircut made her look like a common street rat boy . Eyes slightly widened for a brief second seeing her striking purple eyes . ‘So it is true , she’s the last one of her clans kind with eyes like that .inhuman strength only 2nd to the ackermans ‘. Walking away from both kids . “WHAT’S WRONG NOT ENJOYING YOURSELF NOW?! C’MON LET’S HAVE SOME FUN YOU SICK FUCK!!”. Lastly slitting his throat dying in a pool of his own blood, majority of the crowd cheered for their entertainment .

Others murmured that she was a monster, ‘he deserved it .. if i hadn’t he would’ve gone after more children the thought of it makes my blood boil’. But sofie was anything but happy about it .. to her he deserved far worse but knowing she took a life made her feel disgusted.. filthy . The truth that her hands will forever be stained with blood made the white haired girl’s heart feel heavy . Her eyes looked lifeless and the color turned back to her light purple eyes. After the young raven haired boy’s fight ended he watched a man walking away from him the boy looked confused perhaps hurt that he’d never see him again. But that was nothing compared to when he turned his attention on his right . Seeing a pure white haired girl who had a boys haircut with bangs . The most unusual part of her was her eyes they were violet . The fact she slaughtered the man without hesitation didn’t surprise him growing up in the underground it was nothing new. But those striking purple eyes were unheard of , not knowing the whole story he concluded the man deserved it after hearing the girl say he groped her , forced himself onto a child and threatened to make her “scream”. The young boy couldn’t understand why but he felt infuriated that this scumbag dared to lay a hand on her . Usually he minded his business , of course it pained him but what was there to be done ? Once she finished killing the man her eyes looked lifeless .. expecting her to cry the girl did no such thing . Instead the color of her eyes returned to her original color light violet . And her dagger slid back into her shorts , seeing her light violet eyes a brief flashback of that dream popped up in his head ‘no matter how long we have to wait .. we’ll find each other again.. i promise my love’ showing a tearful but pained smile . Needing to know if that girl was her from his dreams he called out to the girl . “Oi, who are you?” That made sofie even more pissed after a crappy day she had. “Tch , Sofie just sofie.. what’s it to you .. you shitty-?”. When both made eye contact heat rose to their cheeks and tears trickled down . ‘No way , he was supposed to be a dream nothing more than that ‘ thinking in disbelief . Swallowing the lump in her throat sofie asked the raven haired boy in a soft tone only he could hear . “ you .. whats your name?” Hearing the name levi , the same name that’s been in her dreams for what feels like ages. Levi never expected sofie to cry , but it wasn’t just tears.. she smiled like she was happy to see him . Levi didn’t smile , but sofie somehow knew he didn’t need to . Usually she never spared the opposite sex so much as a glance. Deciding all men were the same , assuming her old man was a customer and got her mother pregnant . Nobody could blame her , seeing day in and day out mp’s and underground citizens raping children regardless if they were a boy or girl, having their way with prostitutes and lastly taking pleasure in murdering someone.

‘But he’s different, i can feel it .. we just met and yet it feels like i’ve known him all my life’. Walking forward levi just stood there , not out of seeing her being intimidating . A girl he hardly knew was pushing strange emotions he learned to suppress from kenny . Walking forward sofie could see he felt the same as her . Sensing he wouldn’t make the first move sofie did . “Levi , you don’t have anywhere to stay right? come with me .. a-as long as you want”. Surprised at her offer but he also didn’t expect the light blush on her cheeks that he found cute . Nodding to her offer sofie’s eyes lit up showing him a bright smile that he thought was pretty . Stiffening at first , not used to being touched . With her holding his hand to lead him to her home . It was different , being touched with care and affection , this simple action made his heart race and heat rose to his cheeks. Usually levi hates being touched , but somehow with sofie it feels different .

Year XXXX The Underground : Harshly gasping and waking up in cold sweat . Walking to the kitchen she ate half of a small loaf of bread that was somewhat hardened dipping it in tomato that she made moments ago . Ever since her mother was murdered y/n created a cold exterior : crude, violent/dangerous, serious , stoic , no-nonsense attitude, blunt , hardworking, determined, confident, intimidating and could be downright scary , stubborn both in a good way and a bad way and learned to suppress her emotions . After defeating her first opponent who tried to mug her thinking she was an easy target . How wrong he was , y/n learned that day she had an innate talent for fighting . But his face betrayed him , his eyes were glossy and showing a horrified expression. Sofie managed to tell her lover in a soft voice “levi.. no matter how long we have to wait .. we’ll find each other again .. i promise my love”. In the underground year xxxx young levi had the same dream , ever since his mother became ill he would always hear this beautiful woman’s last words right before she died in his arms . all he knew was her name and that his heart would only belong to her . ‘Levi, no matter how long we have to wait .. we’ll find each other again.. i promise my love’ and each time both sofie and levi would wake up in cold sweat and gasping for air. sofie had a cruel upbringing , abandoned by her unknown biological mother and brought to live in foster care. the children there would physically and verbally abuse her calling her a bastard’s child and her birth mother a whore . for a young child back then she never cried or had shown anything they’d see as a weakness. instead she let them continue and the adults were no better. neither of them gave a damn about her, watching the moves the children would use to beat her and her eventual adoptive parents she taught herself to fight and only trust herself . to an extent it worked until the day she lost her life . it was like any other in modern paradis, seeing a mother and a child about to be beaten sofie intervened giving them a chance to escape which they hesitantly took. managing to defend herself she was doing well until the thugs pulled a gun and shot sofie in the heart. with her heart slowly stopping, her body growing colder by the second . Sofie’s last thoughts before she passed were ‘ more than anything i wanted to see you again..I want to spit on this shitty world ‘finally her heart gave out .. before dying sofie thought she would never suffer again how wrong she was..
