Reducing a south american country to a "settler colony" feels very victim blamey idk about yall
Also completely ignores the existence of the very real very active indigenous communities
Its always white people from the global north trying to explain to.our indigenous communities how they should feel and what they should reclaim and tell us what we are

How do YOU make zines?
other crafty short-from videos found here.
if you have heavy air influence (gemini, libra, aquarius) and you're not socializing with people, going on walks outdoors, airing out your living space regularly, pouring your thoughts onto paper to clear your mind, keeping a journal, you may experience overthinking, mental fatigue, focus issues, insomnia, and irritability
if you have heavy water influence (cancer, scorpio, pisces) and you're not making arts and crafts and meditation part of your daily life, not swimming, drinking a lot of water, getting rid of items that hold bad memories for you, you may experience excessive emotional sensitivity, being stuck in the past, melancholy, unexplained crying episodes and swelling problems.
if you have heavy fire influence (aries, leo, sag) and you're not incorporating excersize and walking into your life, dancing regularly, have creative outlets and start new projects, you may experience attention deficits, forgetfulness, sleep disturbances, body aches, constant fatigue, and weight gain.
if you have heavy earth influence (taurus, virgo, capricorn) and you're not regularly spending time in nature, growing plants and flowers, gardening, doing picnics, keeping your space organized and tidy, keep yourself occuppied with various tasks, you may struggle to relax, have digestive problems, financial anxiety, future anxiety and pessimism.

permaculture + witchcraft 🌳🕸️🗺️
i want to make a larger substack post on this subject soon, but i'm finalizing my permaculture design for my property right now and this is on my mind!
first of all, what is permaculture? in Practical Permaculture: For Home Landscapes, Your Community, and the Whole Earth, the author describes it as "meeting human needs through ecological and regenerative design".
permaculture design is already based around using natural systems as a frame of reference, such as fractals, spirals, grids, networks, & tessellations. building systems based on a bee hive or on leaf veins gives an extra connection to that source which we can imbue and utilize magically.
i also think that the entire property design process can become a hypersigil, alike any "art form". enchanting while designing, and integrating enchantments into the designs, can be done throughout the length of the design process.
specific locations and species/cultivars of trees and plants may be used as a wide-ranging hypersigil, or features may be designed to be specific altar spaces.
when you eventually set up gardens, or other designated areas of vegetation, you can also enchant and commune with the plant and seed spirits as they are planted. identification and pilgrimage through wooded areas may be followed by devotion. wards and other spellwork can be planted or affixed within structures and gardens put in.
i hope this post provided any of you with some ideas! if you are a witch interested in permaculture, i have some book recommendations under the cut:
working on my herbal grimoire
Apologies to those who are waiting for the finished piece from this post. I had to put it aside for a moment to focus on creating gifts for my loved ones' birthdays that are coming up. So instead of the end result of the previous project, here is another work in progress - it's going to be a space-themed wall hanging! My boyfriend's workspace and taste are very celestial, and we both love stargazing and moon worship. I will publish the finished version as well once it's displayed ✨🌙
