Do not cite the deep magics to me, witch. I was there when it was written.

why is this the funniest thing I've seen all day?
Life really does align in weird ways.
My bully from 5th grade who snapped my glasses in front of his friends just found me on social media a few weeks ago.
He wrote me a long apology saying how he was now a father to a 3 year old little girl and was taking her to get her first pair of little glasses in the next few daysâand it brought back what he did. He said couldnât ever handle the idea of someone doing that to her.
My first instinct was to tell him to get lost, but I realized I was getting what I always prayed for. I just wanted the people who were mean to me to eventually understand itâeven if it took a personal experience to relate to and 14 years to open their eyes.
A piece of me healed in that moment as I gave him glasses advice for his daughter because I was the same age when I got my first pair.
Kids are really ruthless, but it takes a healed adult to reach out to apologize. And there is always time to change; itâs never too late.
Itâs like that mafia crew that made a pizza joint as a front but their pizza was so good they just went legit
Imagine being buried alive and then seeing this little guy with a backpack suddenly arrive
It gets better. The little backpack has a two-way radio.
So youâre trapped under rubble, and then a rat shows up. Flicks a switch on its little tumtum. And starts talking to you.

#I love the hashtag women in STEM bc at first I thought they meant the rat đ (via @sprotteswelt)
until you said that it never occurred to me that the woman in STEM was the scientist and not the rat. i was just like âhell yeah, this rat is a powerful woman pioneering lifesaving technologies as a rescue rangerâ
why are we sleeping on this
Kent State University
âThe Kent State shootings (also known as the May 4 massacre or the Kent State massacre)[3][4][5] were the shootings on May 4, 1970 of unarmed college students by members of the Ohio National Guard at Kent State University in Kent, Ohio during a mass protest against the bombing of Cambodia by United States military forces. Twenty-eight guardsmen fired approximately 67 rounds over a period of 13 seconds, killing four students and wounding nine others, one of whom suffered permanent paralysis.[6][7]â
âThere was a significant national response to the shootings: hundreds of universities, colleges, and high schools closed throughout the United States due to a student strike of 4 million students,[10] and the event further affected public opinion, at an already socially contentious time, over the role of the United States in the Vietnam War.[11]â
Student strike of 4 million students! Letâs do that again lol
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kent_State_shootings
Donât forget that basically half the country thought the students deserved itâŚ
Another picture from Kent State.
But it was not just Kent State, eleven days later Mississippi Police fired 150 rounds into a dormitory at Jackson State College, killing 2 and wounding 15 black protesters.
Btw half of the students killed at Kent State werenât even protesting, they were just there
What in the absolute fuck
When the Irish guy has known about this since he was like 8, but itâs suspiciously hard for Americans to learn aboutâŚ
Some of the most famous musicians in the country wrote songs about it, and itâs still obscure.

My great uncle was going to school at Kent State when this happened. He told me that he woke up to a tank outside his dorm and called his parents to take him home. He also knew one of the people who was killed.
Itâs not really something you forget if youâre from that area in Ohio. My high school had band camp at the Kent State campus and we would walk by the memorial showing where the students were murdered everyday. We even practiced on the field where the shooting took place one year.
The fact that this is not taught to everyone in school is vile and shows just how badly our government does not want us to remember that they murdered their own citizens while participating in something that is a human right.
I thought this was just a post about what month was coming up.
It's gonna be may, but it's already an economic crisis.
