Gabriel muses over his twin shotguns. Their familiar weight and the great dragons roar of their blast. Their strength and power- He disregards them. He does not have the mind to handle the pain of the recoil tonight. Instead he selects an aggressively efficient looking Sig Sauer M18 from its padded wood case with a fond flicker in his eyes. Checking its loaded mag and taking the two others out of the case. Fingers flicking over it, checking the slide and grip and the sights before he collects his gun care kit. Then he saunters to the table nearest the lockers after locking up. Unrolling his mat and laying everything out. Then he taps on the wall to lock the range to just them. No interruptions tonight. Activating the sound barriers on the entry and exit points. Humming as he debates over the various hologram options. Smiling as he picks a ‘joke’ option. The old western style saloon perfect for a friendly competition with its various hiding places and shadowy edges. He splits open his pistol and begins to clean it out of habit,” One minute. Most points wins. Headshots and heart shots as always give the most points with added points for creativity. Perfect Kidney and/or Eye shots tonight are the wild card points.” Smile amused as he begins to assemble it again once he’s sure its field ready. A matter of seconds really it feels like to disassemble and reassemble. Ah he loved the old fashion Sig. He should start carrying it on his thigh holster really. It or his Colt. A thought for another time. Slapping a mag into the butt,” So. Sound fair?”

Ashe had always been an excellent shot. Excelled at almost the same rate as Cassidy, they were  deadly force when they were together. The cowboys  moved in  a sync that was only after years of problem solving and training. But she had yet to outshoot Reyes and the colt. It always confused her why he didn’t use precision weapons more often. The shotguns were effective, but not deadly at a distance. They left him  a weakness. But he didn’t. He didn’t need to. He beat her with that colt every time. She lowered her weapon after the clock dinged to let them know the minute was up and Ashe exhale a breath that she had almost been holding the entire time. Standing up a little straighter, rolling her shoulders to get the kinks out of it. She let the viper sit against the wall as she boosted herself over to count their tallies. A soft exhale leaving her lips. “Guess you won again.” she muttered with  a defeated sigh, “Winner gets to pick dinner.”

Plus you tore up their lungs for sure kid.” Blowing up a couple before he pulls up her shots a few days ago,” Check it out.” Overlapping and showing where her hits were getting even closer in the minute mark. “ I’d say you’ve earned the right to pick dinner. My treat. Just make sure its good. Jesse always wants apple pie dammit. And its always the cheap shit.” A fond eye roll, snorting quietly as he banishes the images and starts to disassemble his weapon to clean it. Laying the pieces out on his mat as he groans. Rolling his shoulders,” Glad I didn’t pick the shot guns today though. Ooph never get fucking old Ashe.”
