Maybe you could have waited until he set them down but you were just so excited to see him and the urge to be in Diluc’s arms was so strong
So without considering the consequences you race toward him. If anyone else had charged toward him like that Diluc probably would have tried defending himself
However this was you. Realizing what you’re about to do Diluc dropped his wine and allowed you to leap into his embrace
Both of you are covered in wine but you’re honestly just glad that he caught you
Diluc’s confused but he also has to scold you for doing something that could have been potentially dangerous
“You have to be careful. What if I wasn’t able to catch you” he’d lecture as he carefully sets you down, making sure not to place you where the broken glass shards lay
He says that but really you never need to worry. Diluc will always catch you
Kaeya has a stake of books in his arms when you decide to run toward him
For most people your actions might have been strange but this was kind of a regular thing for you and Kaeya. You’ve done this more than some might think
As soon as Kaeya spits you he knows what’s coming. Dropping the novels, he gladly catching you with a smile on his face
“Hey there. I was just thinking about you” he greets you, not irritated with you in the slightest. Kaeya loves holding you and will take every opportunity to do so, no matter what
After giggling a bit Kaeya kisses you on the nose before setting you down. Thankfully you’re kind enough to help clean the mess you caused him to make
“I was planning on doing some reading. Care to join me?” Kaeya offers and of course you agree. You’d get to be held by him again but this time in a more tranquil setting. What could be better?
A part of you was just curious to see what Zhongli would do. Sure this might result in you falling on your face but your need to know for the best of you
The perfect opportunity presented itself when you found Zhongli looking through some contracts at the funeral home
Without giving him much of a warning you shouted Zhongli’s name before you make your way toward him
He’s about to politely say hello to you but stops short when he sees you jumping toward him
Thankfully for you, Zhongli doesn’t hesitate. Letting go of the documents in his hands he’s able to catch you with ease
There’s no indication that he’s upset with you. If anything Zhongli appears confused? Do mortals usually do things like this or...?
“Are you okay?” He asks, still not appearing mad about the mess that your actions caused.
As soon as you assure him that you are and you thank him for catching you, Zhongli sets you down with a soft smile. “No need. I’m happy to”
To be honest you didn’t really expect Xiao to catch you but you thought that you’d give it a try anyway
He had his spear in his hand at the time. You weren’t quite sure what he was doing but he didn’t seem TOO busy for you to try your experiment out on him
Calling out his name, you gleefully started running toward Xiao
Turning to you with a raised eyebrow, it took Xiao a while to figure out what was going on. He nearly didn’t react solely because he never expected you to do something of this sort
But then to your surprise Xiao let’s go of his weapon just in time do he could catch you as you jump into his embrace
You’re a little wide eyed as Xiao holds you, an annoyed look painting his face
“What are you doing acting so reckless?” He questions, setting you down gentler than you ever would have expected him to
Xiao might give you a light smack on the head for your little stunt but it’s too late, he’s already given you a glimpse of his soft side
Albedo has been so busy working and you were beginning to miss him, so you decide to pay the alchemist a visit
You find him reading through some scrolls as he paces about. Albedo hasn’t noticed you yet, meaning... this is your chance
Your presence doesn’t become known until you suddenly shout Albedo’s name. By the time he looks in your direction you’re already running toward him
Albedo panics and nearly messes up but somehow he manages to fling his scrolls out of the way so there’s room in his arms for you
While you’re grinning from ear to ear because he’s holding you, Albedo’s just trying to figure out your thought process
“I’m glad that you’re alright but let me set down my things first next time. I wouldn’t want you to fall” Albedo makes you promise to be more careful but even he has to admit, he’s really happy that he gets to hold you
