Don't get married; just dress like this to go grocery shopping
The worst mistake the 19th and 20th centuries did was convince men that to look great is to be Gayâą. That was enough to send male fashion straight to the gutter. A damn shame, really.
me any time I rewatch a Youssef scene: gay as hell to be a cop. why are you as a man so eager to put handcuffs on another man
you are my coworker and to some extent my victim
why is she literally cute af
if you think about it both Claire's AND Youssef's overarching storylines are about them trying to reconcile their societal roles (single mother, cop) with their truly insane levels of horniness for Assane, while also slipping further and further into transgression and not-so-secretly enjoying it
it's just that at the end of it all Claire gets her heart broken (again) while Youssef gets everything he could have asked for
Part 4 comes out in exactly 100 days

reactions to the World Cup
Assane: okay I know it seems out of character but I really care about this and if we get eliminated I might kill myself
Ben: ah yes that time every four years when Assane goes even more insane than usual
Claire: look at how multiethnic our team is đđ
Hubert: look at how multiethnic our team is đĄđĄ
Youssef: Assane Diop > Mbappé tbh
Sofia: if we win there'll be crime. if we lose there'll be crime. fuck my life
Raoul: who even cares, I like basketball better anyway
Bruno: NOBODY JINX IT. NOBODY FUCKING JINX IT
Juliette: omg I love Cristiano Ronaldo??
Fleur: *typing thinkpiece about how football is a legacy of colonialism*
Youssef: in terms of hot criminals in France where do you think Assane Diop ranks all time
Sofia: WILL YOU SHUT THE FUCK UP I'M ABOUT TO HAVE A NERVOUS BREAKDOWN

i thought we all agreed we were here forever
My Youssef & Sofia headcanon is that their families were close friends and possibly moved to France around the same time so they spent a lot of time together as kids, with their parents constantly making Sofia look after Youssef because he was "weird" and "eccentric." She probably found him kind of annoying but also would beat up all the kids that bullied him lmao
