please stop. Not only is this just factually inaccurate to the source material (Mr Hyde was literally just a mask for Jekyll they were not two different people), a lot of adaptions treat them as such including mine, but that’s besides the point, this just perpetuates a stereotype about systems that they have “evil” or murderer alters. They should be treated as different things.

I feel weird calling any of the "fictives" fictives. A few are, I guess, but for me, specifically, Tokaku Azuma is "me" but also more of a face claim. It's why I prefer to go by "Toku".

Marinette also feels the same way, in a way. Whenever we watch miraculous she feels like she's watching a puppet on a string that looks like her, talks like her, acts like her but is not her. Her canon is nothing like the show.

I don't know how all of the fictives feel but I know I'm not the only one, Amy also is more of a face claim of sailor Mercury than *actually Ami*.

Usagi IS absolutely Usagi/Serena though.

I think this is why we prefer "Kin" it's more broad.

I was looking for resources for children raised with parents with DID, since my mother is diagnosed with it and has been since she was 11.

I hated all of the links.

My trauma and unstable home life was not caused by my mother's DID and to blame her disorder is a cop out. asking for support for living with her alters, especially her Little alter who sometimes if felt I had to parent isn't demonizing, either.

DID is still very stigmatized that they blame the "chaos" strictly on it and it shows I am, again,an outlier.

Her DID and my own system is not "chaotic" nor did it contribute to why my childhood WAS chaotic and traumatic. Sure it wasn't EASY living with her and her alters but neither is really growing up with any parent with mental disorders.
