reinstalled shinigami eyes to take a look at the damage and it's so much worse than a year or so ago when i deleted it. virtually every intersex blog i know of regardless of how they feel about tme/tma is marked red unless they are especially vocal about liking it, countless trans men are marked red regardless of whether they are vocally inclusive, most who are marked green are either famous guys or are (somewhat) infamous for their transphobia and exorsexism if not also racism.
Plenty of transphobic cis folks are green. Virtually every trans-positivity account is red except for the ones who are unapologetically transphobic to at least part of the community. Countless trans women who vocally uses the term transandrophobia are marked red. Several trans women who dont even use the term but have at least on one occasion defended or sympathized with trans men are red. Several trans women who are bigender/NB/Etc with inclusion of any "male" or masc terms are red regardless of whether they seem to have anything to say about trans men.
It is BLEAK. I've been trying to remove reds and greens as I assess, but it is really really gross that it was a pretty well-known soft rule a decade plus ago that you didn't mark trans people red at all even if they were shitheads, unless they were actual proud terfs, because the flagging was guaranteed to isolate them from community.
Inability to assess risk and a total aversion to narratives that contradict what you assume to be the case for others is getting people into a lot of trouble.
Shinigami eyes is completely dead and less than useless, but since so many people still seem to trust it, I do not want people to keep getting flagged as violent evil transphobes cause they started identifying as genderqueer.
anticipating an exponential increase in murderbot misgendering so I drew something about it
I love this post especially the rat part
going on me feed
what do you mean there are exactly zero rats i. this post
DOES IT NOT STOP

I just googled this and… yes, it’s absolutely real.
And there are so many articles and videos and discussions. Like, the scientific community is buzzing about this.
So much research will have to be redone because the data was absolutely compromised, off by orders of magnitude, by using standard lab gloves.
The world is probably not horrifically contaminated by microplastics. Sterile laboratories, however, are contaminated by latex and nitrile gloves.
Thank God someone bothered to check.
I have a wild idea. what if we supported our claims of fact by linking to a reliable source. better yet, what if we went hogwild and just straight up linked to the actual unpaywalled study
screammm ive never signed up for art fights because i've never had characters i want other people to draw but apparently they have put in their tos that you are not allowed to submit art attacks that trace 3d models or photographs that you, the artist, have taken yourself.
to be clear, direct traces of 3d models and photographs you have taken personally or are using within the bounds of their licensing are extremely common and completely acceptable, even in professional pipelines to produce commercial works.
having this kind of extremely strict - and extremely unenforceable - rule in a hobbyist event that includes a lot of kids and people otherwise just starting out is completely ridiculous. there's no need for it. tracing is cool and awesome and you should do it if it helps you as long as you're being up front about how you're sourcing your images
places like wikimedia commons, the public domain image archive, unsplash, and pexels have between them millions of images that are free to use for both personal and commercial projects. there's absolutely no good reason to not take advantage of these resources, and even less for not using your own photographs if you're so inclined. work smarter !
very strange to be a fan of a "classic" thing bc like. its overrated. its underrated. everyone knows OF it but its a toss up if theyve actually ever engaged with it. you want to talk to everyone about how good it is but its so culturally ingrained that everyone waves off your glowing review as "well duh, its [classic thing]". its dismissed and overlooked BECAUSE it is so good. you cant find anyone to talk to about it except for deranged ppl on tumblr bc the masses havent actively thought about it in 30 years. its been referenced in every form of media since it released. no one gives it a second thought. youre going crazy.
if cis women are your oppressors, why do you want to be in their spaces?
you know honestly I don't really have an answer for why a trans woman would want to use the bathroom or have shelter from homelessness or have a place to change at the gym or be able to access healthcare relevant to body parts we have. you've got me stumped there
Abstracting "Women's Spaces" as if it's some social club tea party bullshit and we're sour for not being invited is so prevalent. In a gender segregated world, we are not allowed to exist!
Another point that reminds me of my privilege in this world is when I think about the fact that we sell the cure for tuberculosis to people to give to their dogs for a UTI. Millions of people literally die every year because they can't access this medication and I'm giving it to people to shove down their dogs' throats to make them stop peeing in the house. It's one of the more expensive antibiotics and people always whine about the price but then it's not their daughter they have to watch slowly suffocate as bacteria turns her lungs into swiss cheese. It's not their father that coughs and coughs and coughs until he's spitting up blood.
The deadliest infectious disease in human history is cured by the same packet of chewable tabs individually packed in foil. It comes in beef flavor so your dog won't resist taking its meds as much. It's like a hundred bucks for 30 tablets on pretty much any pet pharmacy.
It makes me think about medicine scarcity and how it's all fake in order to get enough capital that you can have individuals with higher net worth than entire countries. And in the mean time, hundreds of millions of people are dead because they don't drive the bottom line.
twinkle twinkle little star and let the bodies hit the floor have the same amount of syllables. do with this info what you will
three person poly relationship made up of two people who are already dating trying to coax someone with horrific self worth issues into a loving relationship. stray cat style
they’re all laying together in bed and the couple are both thinking to themselves like good, he stayed the night to cuddle and talk when we offered, he should know that we genuinely care for him and want this to be more then a handful of one night stands. and the stray cat guy is like wow this sure is nice i think i’m falling in love with them. it’s really too bad that they don’t actually give a fuck and hate me and probably want to kill me with hammers for no reason
it has been like. two days
I felt the cold, bony and clammy hand of death itself upon me, worst handjob I ever had
Born lucky...

Ananya Birla in Ashi Studio at the 2026 Met Gala
1/3 looks from the evening
This couture dress draws its inspiration from bronze sculptures in Indian culture and depictions of deities, reinterpreting their characteristic lines and draped forms in a contemporary way. The curves and folds have been carefully studied and translated into the structure of the garment, creating a silhouette that feels both fluid and defined.
The entire piece is built around a bronze tone, treated to resemble naturally oxidized metal. Shades of blue and green are hand-painted using a trompe-l'œil technique to evoke the patina seen on ancient statues, giving the surface depth and variation.
From the construction of the corset to the draping of the skirt, each element required precision and coordination.
Over 200 hours were dedicated to crafting the garment, with an additional 200 hours spent on hand painting to achieve the final finish.
Developed over several months, this piece reflects a balance between craftsmanship, material research, and a clear visual direction.
i dont CARE that its your special interest bitch whats your SOURCE !!!!!!
"source: me ! hahaha🥰" NO !!!!!!! SOURCE: First Name Middle Initiall. Last Name, Name of Book, (City: Publisher, year) !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
No talking about the things that interest you! We no longer trust you to have read books/watched documentaries/learned/comprehended! No sharing interesting things with friends! No giving opinions based on having synthesized information!
I 1000% do not envy young people. It seems even more miserable to be a teenager/young adult now that it was when I was those ages (when it was just, you know, regular miserable. Now it's off-the-charts misery and no fun and be careful all the time and judge each other harshly and be anxious and lonely).
Are you lost ? This is about academia and serious topics. If you share information that someone is unable to verify, and they ask you for a source, "well its my special interest" is not a satisfactory answer. You do realise that sometimes people have conversations about serious things where having verifiable information is in fact important, right ? You do realise that some people have special interests wherein not spreading falsehoods is actually of really significant importance ? My special interest is nationalism. I got a degree in the topic. This isnt about someone being wrong about the length of their favourite whale or the year a certain toy was manufactured
Also, I really, really cannot stress this enough, is someone asks you for a source and you cant remember off the top of your head, "I will get back to you on that" is in fact acceptable. You can go double check and then get back to them.
HELPPPPP
Reminds me of Jason Kander, former Missouri Secretary of State. When he went to the VA hospital to treat his PTSD, he told the nurse that Obama told him he should run for president, and she thought he was delusional.
Correction: It was worse. She asked him how long he's been hearing voices.
I think I'm gonna make this my go-to story. It's not the worst I've ever heard, which is an asset because people won't believe you if you tell them the actual bad stuff those people do. And it just perfectly sums up the casual arrogance everyone working in mental health seems to have. The way they treat you as inherently Lesser for being in their care.
If they can't even handle basic, easily verified shit like "I'm a lawyer" they are never going to believe you when you tell them that you know how to manage a condition you've been dealing with for decades better than they can or will.
And then there's Alexander Morris, who was put in a straitjacket, called racial slurs, and denied treatment for his potentially life-threatening heart condition when he told them he was the lead singer of the band he was lead singer of.
The lead singer of the Motown group the Four Tops has filed a federal lawsuit against Ascension Macomb Oakland Hospital in Warren, Michigan,
There are multiple parts of that article that are Jae droppingly awful but this one really gets me:
They almost let this man die in a straight jacket simply because they were too racist. And then when they realize their "mistake", they tell him that his life is worth a 25$ supermarket gift card. Of course he's suing them for $75,000 as he should but like. Can you imagine how insulted he must've been. The 4 Tops were one of the top Motown bands of all time. You can be at the top of the music scene and still, they'll kill you because you're black. And they'll use fake claims about mental illness and "aggression" to justify it
& to be clear: none of this is good for anyone. actually delusional people, people who actually hear voices or see things, do not deserve to be treated like this. there is nothing about a person harmlessly believing something fantastical (or which sounds fantastical to you) that requires you to put them in a straightjacket and drug them or deny them necessary drugs. Black mentally ill people do not deserve to be tortured and murdered in a hospital for being Black and mentally ill.
this kind of system is a weapon which can be pointed at anyone. in order to prevent shit like this from happening, we also need to deconstruct how we view mentally ill people, including people who are delusional and hallucinate, and what we view as "reasonable" or "necessary" when it comes to such people.
Black people- including famous black people- have been arrested for "breaking and entering" their own homes due to a neighbor witnessing them unlocking their own house door with their own house key and calling the cops. College professors, celebrities, politicians, and everyday people such as my own father.
It's common enough that young black kids are told to keep any identifying information on them at all times just in case someone reports a black kid breaking and entering by walking into the house they've lived at since they were born. Because that has happened.
When you add mental illness and the healthcare industry into the mix, things only get worse from there. To be clear, you don't need to be black or mentally ill to be treated poorly by a doctor or nurse that's decided they know you better than you do. But it sure doesn't make things easier.
And people have died as a result- or have we already forgotten the death of Adriana Smith who went to THE HOSPITAL SHE WORKED AT AS A NURSE reporting severe headaches and was dismissed as exaggerating and imagining the severity, only to be declared brain dead upon arrival less than 24 hours later and artificially kept alive to force her dead body to carry her baby to term- which couldn't even happen and they had to remove him via C-section anyway.
These are related problems. And until we fix the root cause, they will keep happening.
i posted this a couple months ago and came across this very illuminating video today that adds to my point about white people’s (everywhere of creeds bc none of you are exempt) antiracism largely being performative.
bc they continue to knowingly destroy/hide/sell invaluable historic documents that could help Black ppl across the diaspora not only trace their lineage, but also point directly to the white & nonblack families that owe our families reparations.
this is really why no white person on this planet wants to really do that work, and give us free access to these resources that are owed to us bc doing so would make them be face to face with the legacies that their ancestors who participated in this system, distantly and recently, left behind for Black lineages who managed to survive here, despite everything to this day, to inherit.
Such documentation would also allow Black Americans & other Black people to actually build concrete timelines of the crimes (such as lynchings, land theft, mob harassment, threats, kidnapping, rape, etc.) that white families & individuals have been able to directly profit from, POST-chattel slavery, in the modern era. Much of the violence done against us wasn’t legally considered a crime or purposely overlooked by law enforcement and the government; & not much has changed.
To be able to trace exactly how your white and nonblack families in the U.S. were able to maintain, lose, &/or gain economic stability pre- & post-Depression era? oh you girls aren’t that brave.
Due consequence is a white person’s greatest fear.
