Tomodachi life somehow making canon stuff happen is always funny to me, the latest example being when I just created my Qifrey mii (I've alrdy made the girls, and Custus and Dagda) and the first thing he tells me is that he "keeps his anxiety botelled up" like 😭

Atelier of Witch Hat: All the scenes from two PV trailers + MAIN trailer released a few days ago put together more or less in according to the order of the manga panels (a sort of extended trailer/AMV/first eps. leaks). Also, there might also be some OG excerpt (ex. from 2:41 to 2:50).

MTP Season 2 spoilers

I'm rewatching MTP season 2 and I just realised that Liam and Sherlock kill the other's narrative foil. And I find the reasoning behind why they do it.

Liam kills Adam kind of as a way to appease the fact that he faultered from his ideals/morals and killed a man. I find it rlly interesting bcs to an extent I think Liam has assigned these same ideals/morals to Sherlock (him talking about how he thought killing someone would be the hardest thing for Sherlock even though we've seen Sherlock be more than willing to murder before during the Hope case).

Sherlock kills Milverton becuse he doesn't faulter from his ideals/morals.

During the 'final confrontation' there's kind of this sense that Liam is hoping Sherlock will still stick to the ideals/morals he's mentally assigned to him and that Sherlock's hoping that Liam will choose to go against his plan, but they do both end up being wrong in this instance.

I also find it intersting that Liam's 'death' is similar to Milverton's and that both deaths could be credited to Sherlock.

Profanity filters on single-player games are just so... incredibly performative. They don't 'protect' the player from seeing the word (you have to type it in order to activate the filter), the only thing they do is scold the player.

My favorite solution to people who get offended at the things they themselves typed is a disclaimer on a puzzle page that said "If you type profanity you will see it."

It's really funny and jarring when you encounter a profanity filter in a single-player m-rated grown-up game for adults, but I don't think they even make sense in kid's games. If anything I think "If you tell the computer to call you FuckNugget it will do that" is exactly the sort of obvious, low-stakes 'actions have consequences' lesson that's perfect for kids.

Super interesting music nerd thought I just had about malevolant-

So like a year ago I learned Faroe's Song because I play piano and felt like it, and today while relistening to the part where Arthur is playing the piano in Larsons house and John comes back, I came to a fun realization about how the song is written.

The primary melody of the song is played in the upper octave with your right hand while the background/accompaniment is played with the left hand on the lower octave.

John has Arthur's left hand.

The song isn't complete without Arthur- the melody, but the accompaniment, the base that the song builds itself on, is John

Anyway, idk if that was intentional, but from the amount of music theory terminology referenced in malevolant, I think it's safe to assume that Harlan knows what he's doing.

Edited the post bc somebody pointed out I had which hand john was wrong originally MY METAPHOR THEORY STILL WORKS I SWEAR. Look the point is you can't play the song with only one hand, they're two halves of a whole, one can't exist without the other, etc.
