Dungeons & Dragons' owners think the brand is "really under monetised" and have a plan to fix that in the future.

I think there's been some talk about how one of the design goals of One D&D seems to be a focus on making the digital tools more important and given that there's talk inside Hasbro along the lines of D&D having more potential for monetization I wouldn't be surprised if WotC were to try some kind of "D&D as a service" thing.

THIS is yet another reason why shaming people for always filming stuff with their phones is dumb. People are documenting things we’ve rarely EVER seen, or have NEVER BEEN CAPTURED ON FILM BEFORE! It’s fantastic!

What a TIME TO BE ALIVE, folks! Ordinary people can capture footage that is of tremendous use for scientific documentation and research! I love this!

Le Monocle Club was a lesbian club in Montmartre in Paris, which was a successful bar in the 1920’s and 1930’s. This painting is inspired by Le Monocle Club, and the photos were taken there, several by the great photographer Brassaï. The club owner, who is the only one who appears by themself (in the fourth photo), also appears as a bartender in some of the subsequent photos. The club was ultimately shut down by the Nazis during the German occupation of Paris, as a reprisal against queer lifestyles. The club was named after the early 20th century lesbian fashion for wearing monnocles, which acted as an advertisement of one’s queer sexuality. You can find this painting as a print in my etsy shop.
