maybe my favorite era of Ares in DC. he works so much better as an agent of chaos who ignites conflict than as a straight villain who needs to be defeated in a physical fight, it puts more emphasis on the core of his conflict with Diana rather than making him a generic antagonist

RE9 ending is really killing me... they took us back to Raccoon City, they took us back through all the horrors Spencer caused and everything he destroyed, they're not denying how much of a pos he was but then they show that humanity can never die even in someone as despicable as him... even spencer is capable of guilt, he never felt it throughout his life but grace is the embodiment of that idea, that a tiny bit of humanity can survive a lifetime of horror... the humanity that guides the illogical choice of saving one life when he's killed thousands... grace or "the act of forgiving yourself after doing something terrible".... grace as the living and breathing hope that Umbrella and Connections and everyone can't ever kill... grace as the "requiem for those who have passed"... and what does she do in the game ? save an innocent child the way she was saved... bro... bro !!
