ADHD is not that thing were you can't stop running or doing things or getting distracted easily?

This person can't get up on her own. Isn't ADHD all about hyperactivity things?

ADHD is not only hyperactivity, and some people with ADHD don't experience hyperactivity at all!

Other symptoms can include difficulty starting a task, difficulty stopping a task (both of which are happening in this comic--the person in the comic can't stop the thing they are doing and start doing something else). It can include distractibility, and it can include hyperfocusing--concentrating on one thing to the exclusion of anything else.

A big part of ADHD is being unable to decide to do a task or focus on something, and then actually follow through on that decision. If that sounds like you, it doesn't automatically mean you have ADHD, but if you relate to a lot of ADHD posts, it might be worth looking into.

Previously, black women’s work in the United States was largely limited to domestic service and agricultural work, and wartime industries meant new and better-paying opportunities – if they made it through the hiring process, that is. White women were the targets of the U.S. government’s propaganda efforts, as embodied in the lasting and lauded image of Rosie the Riveter.Though largely ignored in America’s popular history of World War II, black women’s important contributions in World War II factories, which weren’t always so welcoming, are stunningly captured in these comparably rare snapshots of black Rosie the Riveters.
