Trapped
“As long as it can get the job done. Any chance you can grab it and try to saw through these ropes? Don’t worry about nickin’ me- that’s the least of our problems.”
"Well if we do it right I might be able to grab it with my mouth....."
Jason strolls in, "You. Me. Lord of the Ring Movie Marathons. Popcorn. Super buttery."
“Is there any other kind of popcorn?” Cassie laughed already getting the bag out to pop in the microwave.
“Yeah.” Cassie grinned. “But at least you’ll die smiling,” she said daring anouther bop on the nose before scooting quickly to the other side of the couch.
Jason groaned. Woest him, he is just abused. Bullied. Bopped. He glared teasingly and lunged across the couch, somewhat tackling Cassie. “Who says I’d die happy?” He took another handful of popcorn.
Cassie smirked. “My super strength,” she said putting her hands on his shoulders and pushing him backwards so that she was on top. She laughed tickling his tourso lightly.
Jason yelped and fell back. He tried to scowl but his laughter overcame his grouchy expression. He wriggled beneath her, “No! No! Off!” he tried pushing at her shoulders, “Stop!”
“No. You started it,” she replied. She was laughing at this point still tickling him.
Jason kept laughing, tears forming at his eyes he was laughing so hard, “No! Please! No more!”
"And why should I stop?" she smirked. She stopped tickling him and placed her hands on his chest. "You're smiling now."
"+ Hey babe who's this?"
The woman honestly looked like she could kill the guy hitting on her with a glare. But some people just didn’t know when to give up. Jason could admire that, in some cases, but in this one it was rude and downright annoying.
He gave him a chance to leave the woman alone, a good sixty seconds, and then he stood and walked over to her, pasting a broad smile on his lips. “Hey babe,” he greeted before turning a glare to the man in question, “Who’s this? Friend of yours?”
“I’m sure you needed training,” she laughed. “But it sure paid off.”
He grinned at her. “You think?” À laugh and he shook his head. “What about you, Cassie? Where’d a girl like you come from? I feel like I woulda seen you if you had always been in Gotham.”
“I’ve been a little bit of everywhere,” she shrugged. “Never could sit still long enough to get attached anywhere. ”
“To each their own,” he shrugged, “I’ve been in Gotham so long, I think I’d die if I left the place..”
“Yeah its an interesting place. There’s certainly never a dull moment,” she said with a light chuckle.
“Nah, never is,” he smiled at her, “Always somethin’ goin’ on, always somethin’ to do.”
"That is most certainly true."
"You are in so much trouble" (for the ask meme)
Cassie raised up her hands defensively. "What did I do this time?"

Jealousy Starters
FOR THE JEALOUS
“ Do I have something to worry about? ”
“ Should I be concerned how close you and ___ are? ”
“ Why do you spend so much time with them? ”
“ It looks like you have more fun with them than with me. ”
“ I’m NOT jealous. ”
“ Would you rather be with them? ”
“ I’ll just leave you two alone, I guess. ”
“ I’m not blind, you’ve been staring at them all night. ”
“ Why are they calling you at this time of night? ”
“ Could you stop flirting with them for one minute? ”
“ I don’t like the way they look at you. ”
“ I don’t like the way you look at them. ”
“ Do they know that you’re with me? ”
“ Is there someone else? ”
FOR THE OBJECT OF JEALOUSY
“ Oh my god, are you jealous? ”
“ You cannot possibly be this insecure! ”
“ They’re just a friend, I swear. ”
“ Don’t be ridiculous, I love you. ”
“ What is going on with you lately? ”
“ ___ is just a friend. ”
“ I have NOT been flirting. ”
“ How long have you been stressing yourself out about this? ”
“ I’m allowed to have friends, you know. ”
“ What’s your problem? ”
“ There is NOTHING for you to worry about. ”
“ You know I love you. ”
“ What are you talking about! ”

Locke smiled as the waiter took her order and left to get it
Cassie drummed her fingers on the table not really sure what to say.
“So after this you wanna head to my place? Or is that abit too far?” he asked wanting to aware if she was ok with continuing to hang out
“Oh no that’s good,” Cassie replied.
“Sweet we can once we are done” he replied
Cassie nodded. She was probably too excited about dessert, but he didn’t seem to mind. She liked that.
The waiter soon returned with her treat place the ice cream filled dish infront of her then did the same for Locke as well as hand him the bill, which he paid with a credit card “Dig in” he said handing her a spoon
Cassie looked at the amazing chocolatey goodness for a secound before taking a bite. It was amazing! “Here,” she said pushing it over so he could try. “You should have some its amazing.”
Locke chuckled grabbing his spoon and trying some the chocolatey treat “mmm~ geez just reminded over my fat days…or rather years” he said with a grin
“Just eat it Locke.” She rolled her eyes unable to hold back the grin pulling at her lips.
“….tht just reminded me of my last date” he said taking another bite of the treat while doing his best to keep a straight face
“Your last date,” she asked raising an eyebrow.
“Well ya: ‘Just eat it Locke’ really? Do you not see the joke?”
"Um no," she said blushing. "Sorry."

Jason groaned when fell to the floor. When he saw Cassie couldn’t see the gunman, he just couldn’t help himself. He had to protect her. And now, he was on the ground, bloody, full of pain. He was holding the bullet wound that pierced his torso, “Fuck…”
“Whatever you need,” she replied glad he could talk. Maybe it will be okay…
Jason nodded and let out a rough breathe. He was still panting; the pain nearly unbearable. It hurt. It all hurt. “Beer,” he made pathetic grabby hands by his side, his arms still too painful to actually move properly.
“As soon as I’m done…..” Cassie trailed off finishing up what she was doing. “Alright,” she said before turning to him. “See my mad skills are saving lives all over the place.” She offered a weak smile before grabbing the nearest bear and placing it in the hand in this good arm.
Jason attempted a chuckle, but he was too weak, and it hurt too much, it only came out as a little grunt. When the bear was placed in his hand he attempted to raise it to his mouth but he ended up spilling it all over the place. “Sorry…”
“Oh no it’s fine,” she assumed him grabbing the bear from him and holding it to his lips. “Let me help.”
“Sorry, I’d love to help you cassie, but I’m very late to my class and I have a big test today so… Can this wait until later?” // @cassies-comics
“Yeah um I guess so...” she trailed off shifting a awkwardly. She rubbed the back of her neck and sighed. “Yeah it can wait.”

Cassie was surprised at first, but she easily adjusted to the situation. “No one. In fact.” She smirked. “He was just leaving.” She slid her hand into the man who had saved her’s to really sell it.
Jason took her hand easily and raised a brow at the man when he didn’t immediately move away. “Didn’t ya hear her?” he questioned. The man walked away quickly and Jason glanced to the woman with a smile. “You okay?”
“Yeah.” Cassie smiled. “Thank you so much for that. I was getting ready to punch him in the nose.”
“No problem. Don’t want his blood getting everywhere and ruining your evening,” he grinned, giving a shake to the hand he was still holding. “Jason, by the way. Nice to meet you.”
“I’m Cassie,” she said shaking his hand back for a minute before letting go awkwardly putting draping it at her side.
“Well, Cassie, to make up for men like him disturbin’ your night, how about I buy you a drink? And then I can just go away if ya want,” he shrugged, “But I’m gonna pay for your drink.”
“Thank you,” she said with a smile glancing over at the man who had left. He was still lurking at the other side of the room. “You’d better stay.” She lowered her voice gesturing to the man.
Jason glanced over and glared at the man for a moment before smiling back at Cassie. “Stay I will, then. I’ll try to be good company,” he smirked before raising a hand to call the bar tender, “Name your drink.”
“Something cheap, but strong,” She said with a shrug. “I trust your judgment on this.”
He smirked and ordered two of his usual, a cheap whisky that could know a lightweight (like his brother Tim) on their ass. “There ya go,” he nodded when they came, taking one of the tumblers as his own. “Cheap but strong.”
“Thanks,” she said tasting it. It was pretty good. Good enough at least. “So, what brings you to this part of town besides resuming beautiful women from unpleasant conversations of course.”
“Cheap drinks and lack of other things to do,” he smiled, though it wasn’t fully true. He could’ve gone to the manor, hung out with his ‘family’, maybe gone on patrol… but here he was instead.
“Cheap drinks are always a plus,” she said glad to have his company more than she was willing to express.
“And what about you, Cassie? Why you in a place like this?” he hummed curiously, “Doesn’t seem like this is a great place for you to make friends, no offense. Some pretty shitty guys around here.”
“No I generally don’t come to this part of town, but I was supposed to be meeting someone.” She sighed. “He bailed.”
“Really? Well his loss is my gain, I guess,” he said with a charming little smile, “Still sorry he stood ya up. That’s never fun.”
“No its fine.” She shrugged. “He’s done it before, but its fine.” It definitely wasn’t fine. She was pissed. She wouldn’t be at that crumby place if she wasn’t, but he had brightened her up a bit with his kind help and charming smiles.
“Really?” Jason asked, raising a brow. “Guy standing up a girl like you? He’s gotta be crazy.” Clicking his tongue the man shook his head. But he couldn’t help but wonder. “Someone I would know, you think? I could go guilt him for bailing on you so much.”
“No. I’ll guilt him plenty next time I see him,” she smiled softly. “He just gets carried away that’s all. He means well.”
“Good to know you can handle yourself,” Jason told her with a smile, “This city never sleeps though, guess most of us end up getting caught up in business… or other things. Hell on earth, as I like to call it. If I was smart I might pack up and head to Metropolis.”
“Yeah she sighed. Metropolis is nice, but I wouldn’t move there.” she said taking another sign of the drink in her hand. “I like it here, but I’m not very smart.”
“Yeah. I’m not very smart either,” Jason chuckled before finishing his drink and raising his hand so another was brought over.
Cassie smiled at the man in front of her. She wasn't sure where he had come from, but she didn't meet guys like this very often. "Where'd you come from Jason?"
