Hello 👋 and welcome to my little corner of Tumblr!
Here’s a bit about me:
Not exactly new here anymore, but always learning 🌱
Exploring my passion for writing and poetry ✍️
Completely obsessed with wayyy too many fandoms 💕
Lover of both classic and modern books
Certified movie addict 🎥
Hi again! Thanks for clicking through. Here's a little more in-depth about me, and what you might find on this blog ✨
🪷 Basics
Name: I go by Cassiopeia (she/her) on here — any variation of that works.
Personality: introvert / INFP-T
Time zone: CET
📖 Books & Reading
I read a mix of classic and modern literature — I love the emotional depth of older writers, but contemporary stories definitely still hit home (I basically live in a library).
Lately, I’ve been especially curious about Russian authors like Goncharov, so if you’ve got any tips or favorites, I’d love to hear them!
I also enjoy poetry, literary quotes, and short stories that quietly wreck me in the best way.
✍️ Writing & Creativity
Writing has recently become a big part of my life. I journal, write poetry (sometimes messy, always heartfelt), and occasionally scribble out short stories.
I don’t always share them, but maybe someday I’ll be brave enough. For now, I’m just enjoying the learning process.
🎬 Fandoms & Media
Fandoms? Where would I be without them.
Our lovely dead gay wizards from the 70s, the ever-chaotic Batfamily, our favorite BAU agents from Criminal Minds, The X-Files, Dead Poets Society, Stranger Things, Lord of the Rings, House M.D., and Star Wars (especially the original trilogy — though yes, I love Anakin too).
Marvel too, though that one’s been a bit on the down-low lately the love is still there.
I’m also trying to get into Star Trek, so feel free to recommend where to start — or yell lovingly about your favorite captain.
I also dabble in bookish fandoms. If you’re into character analysis, subtle fanart, or screaming about plot twists, we’ll probably get along just fine.
Recently joined the Boots (Netflix) fandom too.
🪄 What I Post
A mix of literary quotes, poetry, fandom content, the occasional short story(ish), and ramblings about books or movies that broke my heart in the best way.
This blog is my cozy little writing nook on the internet.
To keep things (somewhat) organized, I tag most of my original content. Feel free to explore:
#CassiopeiaPoetry – my poetry
#CassiopeiaDiary – random thoughts, rambles, or personal musings (don’t take it too seriously — I like the dramatics)
#CassiopeiaWrites – occasional short stories
#CassiopeiaAnswers – replies to any asks I get
#CassiopeiaMeta - for all my ideas and thoughts about the media I consume. They're not always logical, but it’s fun
