[She linked arms with him and started walking.] Great!

"Cass.. I know you. Not that long could be ten hours." He sighed and then smiled. "I’d still like to go though."

[She laughed.] Well we can stop by like, McDonald's or something on the way there.

"Maybe. How long do you plan on staying out because if it’s like last time… I need to eat first."

[She squinted in thought.] It shouldn't be that long, I think? Just a couple of stores?

He nods. “A matching necklace sounds nice. It be a very nice Christmas gift. You mind helping me pick it out?”

Uh, yeah sure. Right now?

"You think so?" He looks down at the ring and then nods. "I’m sure Willow would love it."

Probably. You could go to that one shop in town and get a matching necklace? I'm sure it'd look nice.

"Dang," he looks back down at the ring. "I should have known. You hardly ever wear anything this color. Oh well."

[She shrugged.] It's cool. Hey, if no one claims it maybe it could be a great birthday present for someone you know. [She winked.]

"Hey!" he called out. "Did you drop this? I thought I saw you in the gardens and this was on the ground."

[When Vin presented the ring, she grabbed it and examined it's large, turquoise gem. After a second she shrugged and held it out for him to take.] Nope, not mine. It's pretty, though.

Nevermind.

Okay? [She went back to looking at paperwork.]

Lux is studying on her own when she noticed somebody hovering over her. She looked up at them curiously, “Can I help you?”

Hm? What? [She looked up from some paperwork she was looking over.] Help you with what?

*she smirks* It did the trick. But I would probably tell him to his face that it was a B minus at best. He gets points for roughness.

Yea, that Cai. I thought he hated me and then one thing led to another… *she grins* I don’t know. It just happened.

Is he any good? [Her tone is incredulous.]

"You shouldn’t leave things like this lying around. Who knows what kind of person could’ve come along and picked this up?"

[She held out her hand in a gesture for Cora to hand over some pieces of paper.] Yeah, that would suck, wouldn't it?

Quite a bit actually. Outside of classes and what not… I hooked up with this one guy named Sam when I got back. But that’s not even the real news. I ended up hooking up with Cai.

Cass. You’re beyond perfection. [she accepts the coffee] What have you been up to lately? I have so much to catch you up on.

Me? Nothing really. What've you been up to, since it sounds like a lot.

[She shrugged and held the coffee out for her to take.] Lucky guess?

"Not much? Really? I refuse to accept that answer. There’s gotta be something exciting happening with you. Entertain me with a story."

[She thinks a moment.] Um, well I caught Cai blowing holes into the ceiling with some fireworks. I don't know what he thought he was doing, but damn.
