i know everyone and their mother has already dunked on endgame enough but genuinely why even bother paying to watch a large group of people, each with their own individual backstory, plot arc, and motivations unique to them (and which often come into conflict with other characters’) team up in a single grudging alliance formed out of necessity to beat the shit out of their collective enemy and greater evil, a ridiculously overpowered creep with a god complex who holds no regard for any life forms he deems lesser than himself, mistreats his non-biological “children”, and is obsessed with collecting powerful stones and wiping out entire civilizations to further his personal goals, when fullmetal alchemist already did it first and better
