Here's a couple other really good pieces from him I thought should be included in the post!!
idk I can tell that some tumblrinas are not up on fat politics because I see a lot of people saying stuff like “it’s better to be a little fat than waste your life trying to be thin” or like “it’s chic to have a little belly” like okay but there are fat people who are “a lot fat” and have “a lot of belly” which everyone is weirdly silent on all the time. Like the fattest person on earth still deserves to exist in human society with joy and dignity regardless of how they got to that weight or how many health conditions they have as a result of their personal actions…that should be everyone’s baseline here I’m not really sure what’s complicated about it
additionally even if i was "a little" fat I DONT WANT TO BE CHIC I WANT MEDICAL CARE AND PLANE SEATS THAT FIT ME YOU DUMB FUCKS 😭 like ohhh you think curvy girls with a little belly are oh so hot? first of all if you saw the fat people i want to fuck you would kill yourselves but more importantly, there is genuine discrimination. people are getting hurt. people are dying. people are starving their children so they dont *become* fat. get on board with real fat liberation. like clothes that fit would be nice too but can we stop killing people with medical neglect or hate crimes as well? pls?
Miss Daughter of Hallownest
I hope this hasn't been done yet but I literally could not get this out of my head
I’m kinda like if Laios was a girl
Monsters ???? Where ?????
there really isn't much of an equivalent to mods in other mediums. like it's not comparable to fanart or fanfic, for which there's already the much more comparable fangame. it's more like you took an existing novel and wrote in an additional chapter, or like, modified all character descriptions to give one character fulani braids, and released these additions to the book for free. it's like if you took a movie and reshot scenes for yourself to give one character massive bulge with jiggle physics. taking a comic and adding in weight gain for one character specifically. and of course, replacing an actor with a 3D model of goku. this all fucking rules why aren't we doing this actually
child: why do they sell board games in bookstores
loving parent: because there's a manual in every board game
child: oh
child: why don't they sell cars in bookstores
loving parent: because when you're buying a board game, what you're really buying is the rules, and those are in the manual. a car manual with no car can't drive you, but if you have the manual to a board game you could play it without the pieces. there are people who can play a game of chess just by saying where they're moving the pieces and imagining the board, but it's very hard so they give you a board and pieces to help you.
loving parent: That's why you never see Mousetrap in bookstores. Because you can't play it with just the manual.
child: whats Mousetrap
moral: kids these days don't know about Mousetrap
More from that one post
I think those fancomics where Calvin from Calvin and Hobbes is transgender are cute and fun but I also think it's a deep misunderstanding of Calvin's character to think he would transition into a heterosexual normie who goes to her high school reunion. That girl would have neopronouns and fang implants
Adult Calvin is a tattoo artist named Panthera who is the bassist in a terrible metal band called Captain Napalm and Hobbes helps do faer E injections
I know it's like 2 weeks too late to change it but I'm so mad I didn't realize that the band would obviously be called "Get Rid Of Slimy GirlS". I walk the road of shame

In silksong, Motherhood is one of the themes present in the game. But one interesting aspect on it is how it exists in conflict to Instinct.
"Maternal Instinct", as generally understood, is the idea there is a group of people in our society who "naturally" have the need and inherent ability to be mothers (This is a myth and there is no such thing as someone having it hard-wired into their DNA the need to have babies).
In silksong, we do see multiple mentions of one's nature and natural instincts and having to fight against them. Even Hornet admits, her weaver nature is one that seeks power and to conquer, which is a bad thing and she has to fight it.
This is Huntress,
She is an NPC who the player meets surrounded by her eggs, which are about to hatch. After some dialogue, she will task Hornet with gathering meat for her babies to eat when they are finally born.
Once we finish the quest we learn the truth: In her species, when the babies are born, they are so hungry they eat their mom. Her tasking Hornet was about surviving her babies.
Except, interestingly enough, her reason for survival are so she can raise her children herself. Be present in their lives and actually be a mother for them.
Her dialogue suggests this is odd for her species. Like her being eaten is the expected outcome and her desire is against the norm. Almost like she is going against her own nature.
And the thing that is against her nature... is wanting to be a mom.
Hornet was born because her mother Herrah made a deal with the Pale King: she would go along with his plan to stop Radiance, but in exchange she would spawn a child with him.
But we are never explained why she wanted a child.
Herrah is a weaver. That is to say, it is in her nature to "bind her opponents", to conquer and dominate. In the original game, she even was queen to the most dangerous zone in all of Hallownest. So it would make sense, almost be expected, that Hornet be a part of some sort of plan or a desire to grow Deepnest stronger with her in charge.
But nothing in her dialogue suggests that is the case.
In the original game, her dying words imply Hornet herself was the point.
In Hornet's memories, she encourages to go crave her own path. While fully expecting for Hornet to forget her. She is a weaver, a selfish species, yet she is selfless in her actions towards Hornet.
Which is in contrast with Grandmother Silk,
She is a higher being who very much embodies the nature of weavers. Pharloom's current state are the result and consequence of her desire to dominate.
And she is extremely possessive of her family of weavers. She sees them and Lace as hers to own and possess. She might care for them, but in that selfish nature, in that instinctual need to control them, she can only hurt them.
It is fitting then that her name, Hornet, was probably given by the Hive. To whom she was an outsider, yet was welcomed and raised as one of her own.
It is fitting that she was raised in the courts of The White Lady, her father's wife, who treated her fondly as the child she never had.
And that the key to save Lace is given by her memory.
In Silksong, To give birth and to be a mother are two different things. The latter can only be from a conscious decision to be so, not from any sort of "natural instinct" you may have
