I saw a sad facebook post from the gay bookstore back in Ann Arbor where I used to live about how they hadnât sold any books that day so I went on their online store and bought a couple, and while you donât get #deals like elsewhere online, Iâd love it if yâall would consider buying your next gay book from them instead of like, Amazon.
!!!!!!!
my favorite thing about dungeons and dragons is that you can study for it alone, wherever you are, and also the fact that i found an entire database of free resources about 5.0 Â that are basically all you need to play except for an actual campaign lol
I see your free resources with no campaigns and raise you ThisÂ
If youâre unfamilar with D&D or want a less complicated version, I recommend Fate. https://fate-srd.com You can print out out the character sheets or just keep them on hand in a PDF / image file. The rules are a bit more fast and loose, but still really fun!
For the people who follow me and know nothing about DnD but want to
another alternate source is pathfinder which is available legally for free through their publisher paizo here â> http://d20pfsrd.com <â it has races, classes, enemies, gm-ing sources, AND free modules. there are some paid ones, but iâve run a few of the free ones and i rly like em!
some people consider pathfinder more difficult than dungeon & dragons but i prefer it and i also prefer not illegally sourcing my books but thatâs legit a personal preference i know that tabletop rpg books are STUPID overpriced and i donât fault people for not wanting to pay for them i just want pathfinder to get more hype bc i dont know anyone else who plays it lmao

Repeat after me: - Veganism is not affordable - Veganism is not cruelty free - Veganism is not the best choice for everyone
Repeat after me -Iâm an idiot and wrong. -Veganism can be made affordable. -Veganism is fucking cruelty free. Thatâs what itâs all about. - Veganism is the best choice for everyone, if everyone did it. -Iâm a fucking asshole for making this completely wrong text post and should shut the hell up now.
Exploiting undocumented immigrants, and other workers is cruelty free? Nearly 500,000 children as young as six harvest 25 percent of US crops.
But I guess brown people donât fucking matter.Â
People are literally starving in South America because all the Quinoa crop is being exported mainly for white vegans who want to live âcruelty-freeâ but donât care about brown people as much as they do about animals.
plus, 4 of the 8 most common food allergies (soy, wheat, peanuts, and tree nuts) are common vegan substitutes.

Iâm just super fucking bitter that once the flint water crisis got itâs 15 minutes of fame people stopped giving a shit. The water is still poisoned, people! Donations have plummeted and people have been forced back into drinking and bathing with the water! The medical effects of this are astounding, cases of legionnaires disease have skyrocketed, people are having seizures, people are having weird rashes break out over their body, people (including me!) are having their blood poisoned, and itâs not just lead! itâs coliform bacteria! itâs THMs! itâs all in the water and it gets into the bloodstream and breaks down blood vessels, causing bruising and petechiae and internal bleeding and no one gives a shit anymore and itâs only gotten worse like how many people are going to have to die until people realize this is still a problem
I would like to add that the people of Flint cannot sell their houses, because selling a house with leaded water is illegal. Additionally, households with children canât stop paying for the water because living in a house without running water is cause for CPS to take their kids. Flint has been living this way for over two years.Â
The people of Flint are trapped by the legal system. And it is only the most high profile case out many cities with a similar problem.Â
Because the government has abandoned them, they are dependant on help from the outside. Donate here
If u canât donate, reblog so someone else can!!!

Researchers said many equestrians' âpreconceived ideasâ about behaviors they associate with mares, stallions, and geldings could have serious consequences for training and welfare.
TheHorse.com | 3 June, 2018
Your 13-year-old neighbor, an energetic girl with six years of riding experience, asks your advice before buying her first horse. What do you recommend: a mare, a gelding, or a stallion? And why?
If you showed a preference for any of those three choices for your young neighbor, itâs possible that youâve been influenced by a culture of sex stereotypes in horses. Australian and British researchers say many people involved in the horse industry have âpreconceived ideasâ about behaviors they specifically associate with sex, and such stereotyping could have serious consequences for training and welfare.
âThis could have profound implications because horses regarded as difficult, dangerous, or bossy are likely to be treated differently from those regarded as calm, reliable, and easygoing,â said Kate Fenner, BEqSci Hons, of Kandoo Equine, in Towrang, Australia.
Furthermore, riders and trainers might assume that a horseâs unwanted behavior is simply a result of the horseâs sex, rather than reflective of an actual problem, such as pain or confusion, she said. As such, the horse might not receive the attention needed (specific training, veterinary care, etc.) to resolve the issue.
Fenner and her fellow researchers investigated peopleâs stereotypes about the sex of riding horses by conducting an online survey. They asked the 1,233 respondents to consider a family of four peopleâa man, a woman, a boy, and a girlâall of equivalent riding skill. The survey respondents chose the horses they considered appropriate for each family member among a mare, a gelding, and a stallion with equivalent levels of good training. They also addressed a series of questions about their reasons for their choices and the importance of certain criteria.
Fenner developed her online survey and conducted the study under the guidance of Paul McGreevy, BVSc, PhD, MRCVS, MACVS (Animal Welfare), professor of animal behavior and animal welfare science at the University of Sydney. She presented her results at the 2017 International Society for Equitation Science conference, held Nov. 22-26 in Wagga Wagga, Australia.
The scientists found that survey respondents were 2.5 times more likely to allocate a gelding to the girl than to the boy, Fenner said. And, in fact, more than 50% of the respondents didnât allocate any horse to the boy. They also had a much stronger tendency to give a stallion to the man. Paradoxically, the respondents generally ranked rider sex as the least important factor in their decision-making, she said.
Meanwhile, they tended to attribute positive characteristics to geldingsâcalm, trainable, reliable, predictable. For mares, 74% of the people considered them âbossy,â while 93% labeled them âtrainable,â âsafe,â âwilling,â and having a âgood attitude.â Regarding stallions, 82% of respondents said they were âdifficult,â and 80% said they were âbossy,â but at the same time, 95% said they were âtrainable,â and 80% said they had a âgood attitude.â
âThese results show not only preconceived ideas about the sex of a horse but also contradictory logic,â Fenner said. âShould these results be of concern? Iâd say yes.â

Servers get paid 2.13 an hour. Restaurants expect servers to get at least a 15% tip per table to meet minimum wage. Their livelihoods depend on you tipping. If you donât feel obligated to tip you donât need to go out to eat. Itâs that simple. I ainât got no love for rich white folk that made their money off the backs of billions of colonized people.Â
âWhen I started my musical career, I was a maid,â she told the audience. âI used to clean houses. My parents, my mother was a proud janitor. My stepfather, who raised me like his very own, worked at the post office and my father was a trash man â they all wore uniforms. And thatâs why I stand here today in my black and white and I wear my uniform to honor them.â
Yall better not be pretending that Janelle Monae doesnât fucking exist
