you don’t realize how important lunch is until you’re wandering around thinking about how unloveable and untalented and uniquely cursed you are and then it’s 4pm and you finally eat lunch and you go Oh. oh right.

you can see the atmosphere. that halo around the edge, that's my air. the green on the upper right is my aurora. those are my clouds, my sunlight.
and its yours! this is your home. this is the home of everyone you ever heard of and everyone you will ever meet. every animal you've been curious about. every plant you've ever picked, and sniffed. its mine and its yours and its theirs. everything is here. its all that i have. its all that you have too.
lets move!

The biggest thing living back in this city taught me is that mindfulness and living simply is easy when your environment is simple and not overstimulating. When your environment is already more than you’re really supposed to handle and I’m talking about concrete everywhere and screens at the gas station that play ads while you pump but also less obvious things like never being in complete silence or darkness because of light pollution and road noises or even always having lettering around you like worded labels it leads to feeling this constant larger emptiness and sensation of needing to be filled with more and more lights and noise and screens to fully distract yourself… like consumption just begets consumption you have to cut it off at the root and then it’s so easy to feel good
