Well, it's about time to redo this.

Anyways, here be Catra, and this be my blog. I'm also plural.

I'm 21. I'm also ADHD, Autistic (probably), Transfem (on HRT as of 10/14/24!), and Asexual, so life has been a rollercoaster coaster and my level of maturity may vary. Gifted kid burnout is strong in this one.

I do not want to be chained to this human form any longer, and I identify with a few other things alongside humanity. If I had my way, I would be an elegant Chimera comprised of Cheetah, Leopard, Wasp, Scorpion, Human, Tree, and Robot (I guess Cyborg would be more accurate here)

I write occasionally, I reblog boobs and tummies either sparingly or constantly depending on my mood and what my feed gives me, and I have opinions on political stuff sometimes. Most of the time, actually, though I don't vocalize them that often.

I will, however, say things if prompted. Usually pretty loudly. And I will say my opinions on sex positivity unprompted. Just because I ain't doing any fucking doesn't mean I think others should be looked down upon for [insert weird sex thing of choice here, reader].

She/they/he/it, in order of most preferred to least. Miscellaneous neopronouns are acceptable, though I might not respond to them if I can't tell that you are referring to me.

And please, don't be scared to interact with me. I like interacting with people, especially on a place like Tumblr where I can interact at my own pace.

everyone treats susie like a ticking time bomb. she’s a Bad kid, she’s Scary, she’s Mean. even a lot of the adults in her life act as though she’s a reactive animal.

susie likes toriel a lot, but is still scared enough of losing her approval that she goes out of her way to censor herself in toriel’s presence. even ralsei still sort of implicitly puts susie down/chides her for being too rowdy or crass. kris is pretty consistently on her wavelength now that they’re friends, but it was rough at the very beginning.

right from the getgo, tenna can take a joke. she immediately wants to kill him in-game and he says “get in line, kid!” not only reframing the situation as a joke at his own expense, but also unintentionally validating her frustration by normalizing it.

it’s no wonder susie was the first one to decide that tenna is cool and fun. part of it is definitely susie’s personal growth and more positive overall mental state allowing her to make friends faster, but i think an equally relevant aspect of their connection is tenna’s ability to just roll with her. he doesn’t react to her abrasiveness in bad faith. he doesn’t ever take it personal. unlike the vast majority of people in her life, susie doesn’t feel like she has to worry about doing something Bad and losing tenna’s approval. the Bad parts of her are the ones he thought were fun and engaging from the start. idk i like that they get along so well. her unstable but fun uncle who has multiple pending charges of copyright infringement against him <3

The other night husband and I were watching a documentary about the yeti where they were doing DNA analysis of samples of supposed yeti fur, and every one of them came back as bears.

Anyway, the next night we watched a thing about some pig man who is supposed to live in Vermont. People said it had claws and a pig nose but walked upright like a man. Now, I happen to know that sideshows used to shave bears and present them as pig men. So every piece of evidence they gave of this monster sounds to me like a bear with mange.

So now the running joke in our house is that everything is bears. Aliens? Bears. Loch Ness monster? Bear. Every cryptozoological mystery is just a very crafty bear.

Bears. They’re everywhere. Be wary. Anyone or anything could be a bear.
