Christ alive, Tokyopop, why would you advertise motherfucking Parasyte in this magazine, much less with those covers!? Like yeah! Sure! Just throw Body Horror Gore Porn: The Manga in your periodical aimed at the same audience as the The Baby-Sitter's Club I guess!
LIKE HELLO? THESE ARE PAGES FROM THE SAME ISSUE:
I guess, to be fair, so was this, which seems a little confused:
I'm starting to remember that Tokyopop was a very poorly ran company.
Tricking Out Anime: An Interview With Stu Levy
Recently, my friend Adam published an interview they did back in 2020 with Stu Levy. For those of you unaware, Stu Levy is the founder (and former CEO) of Tokyopop, who held the Initial D license from 2002-2009.
It's quite an good interview, answering many questions I'd had for many years such as: Why was it like this? Why did they stop there? and (this one most importantly) How did they make so many changes to increase appeal and not get it on TV?
If you are interested in the Tokyopop dub of the series (or even just old dubs in general) I would recommend reading this interview, I found it very enlightening. You can read the full thing here. Big thanks to Adam for making this available to read.
Guess who's back back again 🔥
Ive been playing an unreasonable amount of yokai watch and found myself doodling katie a LOT even though all of my main playthroughs have been with nate... i havent even finished my run with katie but i think her character is pretty cute
I was kind of just doing what my heart desired when drawing this one so i had a lot of fun
I love this because it's true

I appreciate the amount of time that must have gone into making that tiny cucumber Titanic just to make this pun-based post.

There’s a cryptid I thought you might enjoy, called the Smeet Frog! They’re fuzzy and have little bat wings!

Okay that's it. that's my limit now.
So this is my fanon: Uncle is already used to using teabags since he lived in SF for many years. Yet Daolon Wong can't stand teabags, he just followed some complicated steps to make and drink tea in ancient Chinese way.
This may explain why tarakudo's face is on the cover of Demon Archive.🧐🧐
