“Wow, that was predictable,” she laughed. “But it is nice to be reminded of how much influence I seem to have over your so-called relationship.”

“Wow, that was predictable,” she laughed. “But it is nice to be reminded of how much influence I seem to have over your so-called relationship.”
“Anyone you’ve got your eye on?”
“Okay, so you still can’t just kill anyone you want, but no one’s going to tell us that we can’t wear underwear over our clothes.”
“ I really think I need a wing man or woman to help me with the girls on this cruise…”
“At your service!”
“You see, that’s probably where the Titanic went wrong. I’m trying to stop the same thing happening here, you see. I’m saving all of our asses by getting wasted, it makes perfect sense.”
Ceci roared with laughter. “I love that kind of mentality, Will. Ooh! I’m going to get a piña colada! Or should I wait until we actually get to the Bahamas for that, and just do Jägerbombs tonight.. Also, I’m just saying now that if they don’t serve me at the bar I will jump ship.”
“Buzzed. Not drunk enough, but not exactly sober either. How about you? Because I think we need to hit the bar, pronto.”
“Same goes for me, and I think that you’re right. Isn’t it bad luck to spend your first night at sea sober?”
“Literally all I want out of this cruise is to be a beautiful golden color by the end of it. So if I disappear and you don’t see me again after this, I’m sorry.”
“Are you kidding? Take all the time you need, girl. When we get home I hope people start talking to me in Arabic ‘cause I’m so brown.”
“I don’t really do the whole swimming thing… so someone is going to have to explain the appeal to me,” Gunner muttered, all of his tattoos on display as he stood in the water.
“Hopefully you’re better at drowning.”
“If at any point during this cruise you see me sober, it is your duty as my friend to come and drag me to the nearest bar, okay?”
“How do you feel right now?”
“As juvenile as it might be, after this drink I’m about to head down to try out that water slide. Something about it is just calling my name.”
“I assume you’re telling me this because you want me to join you. And I accept.”
“Every rule you’ve ever heard of in your life--throw it out the window! We’re on a boat.”
“Yeah, that’s true. I’ve never tried to date a girl, it might be even harder,” she said, her eyes widening as the thought developed. Then she glanced over at the redhead with interest. “Are you speaking from experience?”
“The problem is I have two passions and don’t know which I want to spend my entire life doing.”
“Why do you have to spend your entire life only doing one thing? That sounds so terrible.”
Hazel sighed, “I can’t pick what direction I actually want my life to go in.”
“That’s it? That’s easy. Wait for inspiration, that’s all you can do.”
“Really? Are you serious? Because I’ll be really excited if you are!”
“Of course I’m serious! You’re lucky--I usually don’t like being there when I’m not working. But I’m making an exception because I have a feeling this is going to be really fun.”
“Lead the way!” she said excitedly, gesturing to the world before them. “Yeah, I keep thinking lately that I should just become a full-on lesbian, that way I’ll never even have to bother with a man again. At least none of the ones I’ve met here have been worth any time.”
“Oh, no... Please tell me you’re joking!”
