thinking about samisa up in van training with luke, misa’s brother, and sam (and everyone else) becoming very aware that misa told luke absolutely nothing about him and dickie. it’s unclear if luke even knew that they were good friends off the ice. misa just forgot, him and luke don’t talk that much and not about their personal lives really

so misa is unbothered, tucked underneath sam’s shoulder on the couch, as luke bores holes in the side of sam’s head, trying to solve whatever the fuck is going on there. sam is valiantly trying to ignore it bc him and misa haven’t really talked about the game plan here, as far as he knows they’re just hooking up and are really really good friends. he didn’t think to factor in the whole formally meeting and training with your brother for two weeks of it all

oh also: more thoughts on the jhtz dynamic. I think part of the whole thing w/them is like, Jack loves so passionately and entirely that it soothes that part of Trevor that’s desperate for attention and validation. Jack’s love feels like being let in on a secret no one else gets to know, like maybe it’s just the two of you against the world and you’re going to win. and they’re both shameless enablers but Trevor esp is kind of that friend who’s always biting at the bit to push things just a little bit further and find exactly where the line is before it’s too much or someone calls uncle or he ruins it. moremoremore bc it’s never quite enough. this works great for Jack bc it lets him pretend he’s the chill one, that this isn’t exactly what he wanted. letting Trevor push the gas wherever it might take them until things get too scary and he bails bc Trevor’s never scared enough of the consequences, ignoring the fact that he could’ve pressed the brakes at any time.
