I'm sorry to say this, but I'm forced to. I will not forgive anyone who sees this post and doesn't support me with a single word and ignores me.
I'm forced to write this because I'm so tired of asking for help and everyone ignoring me. I'm writing this now with a terrible stomach ache from hunger, and what's worse, the doctor told me I have anemia and my condition will worsen if I don't eat well and take my medication and vitamins. I can't take it anymore. I'm completely exhausted from malnutrition.
All I care about is keeping my sick brother and my family safe. Please help us buy healthy food so that my anemia doesn't kill me, and so that we can buy my brother's medication and healthy food for ourselves. Please donate.
Please donate if you can!
Ahmed's family has been through the @gazavetters verification process and is #198 on that spreadsheet.
Please, donate what you can to help Ahmed and his family survive. Show them they're not alone. It's no different than bringing a casserole to a sick neighbor. Ahmed's family are facing hard times, and we owe each other this kind of care and support.
Please help Ahmed get money for nutritious food and healthcare. His family has been struggling with food insecurity for months, and this winter has been brutal on them all. Please donate what you can.
This coming out just days after it was revealed in the Jeffrey Epstein email dump that powerful people manipulated American and British news, political figures and forums to push transphobia to distract from people looking at their child abuse ring.
This includes chief anti-Corbyn-ite in Labour Peter Mandelson, directly feeding anti-trans stories to UK and US newspapers, actively bullshiting "biological studies" that trans people are idk ontologically evil (we have proof of Epstein pitching this exact thing), and creating /pol/ and then feeding anti-trans conspiracy theories for years until it all boiled over.
And over and over we found out each plank of this argument was rotten from the start but people are choosing to keep the bigotry.
Findings suggest physical performance in trans women converges toward that of cis women over time

Not seeing anyone talk about it, so Greta Thunberg and three other activists on the Madleen have been released by Israel. I can't find the names of the others who accepted deportation, but Greta Thunberg is back in France.
Rima Hassan, a French member of the European Parliament who was also onboard the Madleen, has refused deportation along with the other 7 remaining passengers. She specifically said that she refused to sign a document stating she had entered Israeli waters illegally. She and the other seven passengers will face an Israeli court this week. They are in danger. Spread the word.
Greta Thunberg among four activists who agreed to deportation, others to appear before Israeli authorities.
It's important to note that the group discussed who was going to sign the papers to accept deportation, and who was going to stay and be detained. They made these choices based on who wanted to be visible and communicate with the world about what had happened, and who wanted to stay behind holding fast to the fact that they did *nothing* wrong.
These activists are being very purposeful. Greta was not deported because she's giving up, and neither were the other 3 who were deported. If all 12 of them had stayed to be detained, they wouldn't be able to talk about their experiences on the Madleen with anywhere near as much coverage. Greta, Baptiste Andre, Sergio Toribio, and Omar Faiad will likely make some sort of statement in the coming days/weeks.

if you've been hearing less about gaza lately, it's because most of the journalists are dead. hassan eslayeh, who was murdered yesterday in his hospital bed by israel, had 351 videos archived on tiktokgenocide.com (an online archive of israeli atrocities i recommend you browse). this single journalist alone had contributed 351 videos. the same database lists that 252 journalists have been killed in gaza since october 7th. the cpj's archive of journalists killed is 178. they have a more conservative and less accurate estimate since they have less information on those media workers who work with local outlets.
regardless of the exact number, the number of journalists killed is so high that it is markedly affecting the footage and documentation we have coming out of gaza now. let me prove it to you: 70 people were killed today, May 14th 2025. did you know that?
77 was yesterday's final toll, and already over 54 killed today, most of them women and children (not that it matters). six families in khan younes entirely erased, from the babies to the grandparents. no breaking news alerts from western outlets, no ticker on CNN, no comment from any news anchors. the only people doing that job right now it seems are american college students getting their diplomas withheld for mentioning palestine in their graduation speeches

A 17-shot fusillade from a shooter with a semiautomatic handgun sent two people to the hospital after an encounter Saturday night in Miami Beach, police said. As to what ignited such an attack on Pine Tree Drive, the arrest form details Mordechai Brafman in the police interview room, “spontaneously stated that while he was driving his truck, he saw two Palestinians and shot and killed both.”
Brafman didn’t kill anybody. One person was shot in the left shoulder, police added, the other person got a grazed forearm. Law enforcement sources didn’t say whether or not the people shot were Palestinians, only that they’re visiting from Israel. The Instagram account South_Florida_Simchas, which posts about Jewish life, posted a selfie video that showed a bullet in a man’s left shoulder and stated the victims were an Israeli father and son and neither were Palestinian.

"The UN Special Rapporteur on violence against women and girls, Reem Salama, confirmed that the Israeli occupation army has used the killing of women and the targeting of reproductive health as tools for genocide in the Gaza Strip.
Salama said in a press statement on Sunday that “Israel’s attacks on Palestinian women are part of a systematic genocide strategy.” She added, “When looking at Israel’s actions overall, it is clear that targeting the reproductive capacity of Palestinians in particular serves this purpose.”
She emphasized that “the killing of Palestinians simply for being women is considered a war crime and a crime against humanity,” noting that the UN Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide also prohibits acts of genocide aimed at preventing reproduction within a group. ..."
If ICE Shows Up at Your Door, Know Your Rights!
Do NOT open the door. ICE does not have the right to enter your home without a valid warrant signed by a judge.
Remain calm. Don’t run and most importantly do not lie about your name, age, immigration status, etc. Anything you say or do can be used against you.
Do not sign anything. Ask to have documents translated. If you do not speak English ask for an interpreter. Have an attorney look over any documents that ICE gives you.
Make a family plan. If you have children, identify a caretaker.
Record. If you witness someone being detained by ICE, you have the right to record as long as you do not interfere with the arrest. Pictures, videos, and any information you can gather, can help verify an immigration raid and also help someone’s immigration case.

I’m Anas Basil, a recent high school graduate with dreams of a brighter future through studying e-business management and building a career. But the war has shattered everything. After graduating with a 93% average, I enrolled at Khan Younis Training College (UNRWA), only to find that it’s now a shelter for displaced families instead of a place for education.
My younger brother, Ahmad, 14, is known as the "Doctor of the Future" because of his extraordinary talent in mathematics. However, the war has kept him out of school for two consecutive years. Ahmad is also a gifted football player who used to win tournaments, but the war has taken that away from him too.
The war forced our family to flee to Rafah, where we lived in a tent for several months. Every day is a struggle for survival—fetching water, gathering wood, and making a fire.
🎯 We are seeking €29,000 to:
- Secure safe passage out of Gaza and cover education fees to help us pursue our dreams.
- Provide Basic Essentials—food, clean water, and medical supplies—to support our family’s day-to-day survival in Gaza.
