alright everybody sit down and let me tell you a story about Waffle mother-freaking Houses

the summer before I was going into fifth grade me and my family drove down to Florida to go to Universal studios. So on our way down we started noticing them everywhere. I’m not joking at how many more there were the further we drove. and THEN we got into Georgia and they where EVERYWHERE

every stop

every highway

every few yards there was a waffle house.

There was a road where there was a Waffle house on the THE OPPOSITE SIDES

it was insane. so I hope you guys like waffles if you decide to drive through Georgia

Seriously guys, in Georgia we say that there are so many Waffle Houses along the road because

"Nobody turns left for that shit"

All directions in Georgia literally have the phrases “When you get on Peachtree” and then “When you see the Waffle House”

Sometimes the directions involve a ‘Piedmont’ or a governor’s name, too.

Not even lying - the GA Department of Transportation has a "Waffle House" factor when determining how bad the roads are.

A city 20 miles from here had 3 of them all within 2 blocks of each other, and they all had loyal customers who would argue with you on which one was the best.

I'm a Georgian. I don't even understand it.

i hate being that guy who adds onto a text post but my dad is a cellist and he has to buy a seat for his cello every time he has to fly somewhere for a show and the cello has become such a valued customer for airlines that we regularly get mail addressed to “Cello Friesen” for airfare deals and stuff

Seriously. I feel like a real knitter now. After about two hours of frustration and many YouTube videos, I managed to learn how to purl and produced this glorious example of stockinette, brought to you by uneven tension and a shot of tequila to relax. I cannot even begin to tell you how happy I am for this little accomplishment.
