healthy lunch and dinner ideas

I thought I would share what I usually eat for lunch or dinner, it's easy and quick to make as well as healthy, you don't need many ingredients. If you like this post in the future I can do more about recipes.

1. TOAST

bread: bagel, seeded or protein bread ideas of ingredients to combine: avocado, light turkey, salmon, eggs (scrambled too) goat cheese, tomato, spinach, cucumber slices, chia seeds and a dash of olive oil.

2. BOWLS/SALADS

base: quinoa, rice or spinach ingredients to add: avocado, broccoli, tuna, chicken strips, tomato, cucumber slices, feta or goat cheese, tofu, chickpeas, boiled eggs, shrimps, olive oil and chia seeds (or the seeds that you like the most)

3. OMELETS

ingredients to add: turkey, spinach, mushrooms, goat cheese (or your choice)

spinach and feta omelet recipe

4. MORE IDEAS

sweet potato, pumpkin or oven-roasted eggplant to accompany any dish

pasta salad with tomato, rocket, spinach, cherry tomatoes, cheese, cheese and seeds of your choice

bowl of boiled vegetables (carrot, cauliflower, broccoli, peas, mushrooms)

chicken with boiled egg and rice garnish

(I clarify that the ingredients are ideas, not all are added, you can choose them.)

I was once at a Chinese restaurant next to a het couple having a first date. The dude led in with how his younger brother was annoyed with him because "he thinks I think I'm better than him, which is because I am," and then progressed to being extremely patronizing about the menu.

The date made pleasant noises at all of this. Then when the waiter arrived, she proceeded to have a full conversation with her in Mandarin. When the waiter left she asked the dude if he didn't speak Mandarin? Oh how strange and sad? And then bodied him with local knowledge from visiting the region the food was from.

The rest of their meal was very, very quiet. It was exquisite.

I feel like saying "Peeta fell in love with Katniss twice" disregards all the painful efforts he put into going back to being the person he was before the hijacking.

He found it withing himself to go against all the brainwashing, the painful memories, the corrupted, shiny images in his head that terrified him to his core, in order to remember who he really is and who Katniss is and why he loves her so much. And that's much more remarkable in my opinion.

He was tortured into believing lies he was never meant to oppose, but he did. He was programmed to never remember what was real again, but he did. He was convinced Katniss was evil and he should never question it, but he did.

The frustration, confusion and uncertainty he must've felt navigating through real and not real and the mental strength it takes to endure all of that and still manage to remember although he was programmed not to is the ultimate act of love and truly so admirable and fascinating.

So no, Peeta didn't fall in love with Katniss twice. That's because he refused to let his hijacked self live and get a chance to "love" her. Instead, he crawled back to who he was at his core, to the person who already loved Katniss not someone who had to learn to love her again. And he realised that the love he had then is no different from the love he has now, even after seeing Katniss's flaws. Because he was himself again. He had remembered.

"Hijacked Peeta" no longer existed anymore. There was no "Peeta before hijacking" and "Peeta after hijacking" anymore. No "Old Peeta" and "New Peeta". It was just Peeta. The Lover Boy from district 12. The boy with the bread. The baker. The painter. The one who sleeps with the windows open, always double ties his shoe laces, never takes sugar in his tea and whose favourite colour is orange. Not bright, but soft like the sunset.

Every time a person praises or defends Michael Jackson, an angel loses it's wings. I swear people will defend him to the death, and im tired of it. Don't get me wrong, I do actually enjoy his work, but i refuse to excuse the things he did to those kids.

I keep seeing this misinformation spread around, so I'm correcting it (not that the cult will listen).

One crucial piece of evidence against mj is Jordan Chandler's description of his genitalia. As said multiple times, it was an accurate description. He located all the specific spots of discolouration that were present due to Michael's vitiligo. It is impossible that he happened to guess every single mark correctly. (I can also provide sources of this).

People keep hyperfocusing on one possibly incorrect detail, which is whether Michael was circumcised or not.

Jordan said Michael was circumcised. Michael's autopsy report states that "appears uncircumcised." I have to specify this because mj fans spread around bs about "no signs of surgical restoration" when that wasn't mentioned in his autopsy. It's a very vague description, and a penis goes through changes post mortem.

I also want to note that penises are different. For example, my penis is uncircumcised, and when I'm erect, the foreskin retracts. I've even had some people think I'm circumcised. In some people, it doesn't. They asked Jordan for a description of when it's erect, and if he was uncircumcised, it's possible that mj's foreskin could retract when erect, giving the appearance of an circumcised penis.

Main Points;

• Jordan's description was correct. All the marks of discolouration that he mapped out were in the correct locations.

• The possibly incorrect detail of circumcision status does not make his description less valid. It's a mistake that anyone could make, especially a child.

I don’t know if this is a hot take but it pisses me off to see people glazing Wilson (or really any guy in the show) and then hating Cameron for no reason. And I haven’t finished the show yet so correct me if I’m wrong but Cameron isn’t a horrible person she’s just flawed like EVERYBODY to ever exist but Wilson cheats on his wife numerous times and is lowkey a bad friend. You can’t really talk about morals in this show because they’ve all done something objectively immoral. It’s just really annoying because I know that is just because she’s a woman. The same thing goes for cuddy. Don’t even get me started on hilson, Hameron, and Huddy because some people who ship hilson will dogpile the other two ships because “Wilson is house’s one true love” I DONT CARE I DONT CARE that is not a justified reason to hate on those other ships give me a proper reason why they don’t work and I will be fine but do not give me a bs answer. House did not have a normal relationship with any of them.

okay to elaborate on a post i made while walking to work:

cameron has "former gifted kid" vibes. she knew she was, she was proud that she was, she loved being the Gifted Kid, and she struggled a bit when she hit university and realized she wasn't uniquely intelligent -- she is incredibly intelligent and talented, but she isn't the Top Of All Her Classes anymore; she is not the Only One.

chase was a gifted kid, but he never knew it, because whenever he met his fathers expectations the goals would simply shift and after a while he stopped/was unable to try as hard. he is immensely talented and bright, but has been told most of his life that he's the dumb one (by house) or not good enough (by rowan), so he figures he's decently intelligent but nothing special.

foreman was a gifted kid, but in the area he grew up with the friends he had, this was seen as a bad thing; he didn't want to be a teacher's pet or momma's boy and refused to apply himself. after juvvie, however -- long after the "gifted kid" label was taken away from him -- he did start to apply himself and work hard and while he did undoubtedly have to work very hard, he was also surprised at how easy a lot of this stuff actually was (and driven enough to cover any gaps that he still struggled with).

house: gifted kid who very much knew it, but whose father always told him he was an idiot. instead of internalizing this -- "well, dad's probably right" -- he became even more driven to prove him wrong.

wilson: naturally intelligent -- they all are -- but not a prodigy, more of a hard worker and hard studier.

cuddy: makes up for any lack in natural genius with incredible drive and grit and studying. her willpower will cover any gaps. wasn't considered a "gifted kid" because in her family, it was a given that she should be top of her class, like, that was the bare minimum.

taub: gifted kid who managed to coast on this into adulthood, and then crashed in part because he hit his peak early and, you know, now what? he's already reached the height of his career at thirty, what's left except boredom and pleasure-seeking?

kutner: "you could be a gifted student if you applied yourself." obviously he was smart, but his interests and motivations are pretty scattered, and his parents didn't want to push him too much because What About His Past Trauma. was given a lot of freedom to just do whatever.

thirteen: rejected the gifted kid label because she didn't want that kind of attention or pressure. studied a lot more in secret than she let on, wanted people to believe it was effortless.

a headcanon is a fact that you have personally made up as an elaboration of canon. it is your invention. e.g. i think morgana and gwen had a teenage lesbian situationship before the events of canon. or, i think modern morgana would love evanesence.

an interpretation is how one reads the existing text. it is not an invented fact nor is it a headcanon, it is a reading. e.g. i think merlin tries to poison morgana out of misplaced self-hatred. or, i think that one line was delivered with suppressed malice and shows a nuanced relationship.

fanon is the general fandom’s accepted headcanons and interpretations that elaborate or recontextualize canon. e.g. merlin is a badass waif and morgana is a bitch.

these are all different words with different meanings.
