Hey, y'all! The original poster here, obviously. I just wanted to say thank you for all the love that this dumb post I made as an 18-year-old girl has received over these past 4 years. I'm a 22-year-old woman now and while some things have changed about myself, I still look at this post fondly and still believe it to be true. It is insane to me that even after being inactive on Tumblr for these past 2 years, that people are still leaving likes on this post. Even long before the whole Y/N slander and Y/N x Alpha Male CEO trend on TikTok and Instagram a little while ago, though I do wonder if that trend played a role in the more recent likes.
Also, just so you know, I don't hate Y/N or the concept of Y/N. This was just merrily poking fun at how the meaning/concept of Y/N has changed in recent times. Something that the Y/N x Alpha Male CEO trend clearly ripped off from me and everyone who participated in it owe me royalties for the idea. Kidding, of course.

Hi. I'm back.
So, hi. Hello. I'm back. I know that I am frankly a nobody on this platform and I haven't touched this account in over two years. But to the twelve followers I somehow still have (thank you so much, by the way. I'm surprised you're still here), I wanted to make this post to show that I didn't die in some tragic accident or something. I just frankly forgot about this account after a while and since I am going to be graduating from college in May, I thought it'd be a good time to revive my account and maybe post some promotional stuff here. I also want to post some personal projects as well, as I now have a couple of OCs/stories that I have been developing the past few years. We'll see how that goes.
I'm currently still editing/cleaning up my account/profile a bit to reflect who I am as a person now, as well as admittedly making it look a bit more professional for when I go out into the real world and hopefully get this animation career going (AI will not stop us). I cannot make any promises to how frequently I am going to post here, but I'll try not to pull a CoryxKenshin and disappear for two years again.
To those that are still here, thank you. I cannot for everyone to see the work and progress I've made since I've been gone. I missed y'all. I hope you missed me too.

What I love about the imagery of the turtle is that it’s sending the message that they are protecting themselves by being in their shell. It’s not about deceiving straight people (like we are often told), but about the turtle’s own safety. They’ll come out when the time is right and they feel comfortable. 💕🏳️🌈

Three Exciting Announcements:
I have finally acquired myself a boyfriend! We have been talking since early sophomore year (right before COVID) and we have gone on a few dates after the craziness that was the pandemic settled down. A few days ago, he randomly called me up to ask if I wanted to make it official, and, with tears in my eyes, I said yes. We are each other's first romantic partners.
I will finally be graduating high school on Monday, meaning I could potentially have more time to create art, except for the fact that I will likely need to get a job to help fund for college.
And the most exciting part of all, I HAVE BEEN ACCEPTED INTO SCAD! THIS IS LITERALLY A DREAM COME TRUE AND I COULDN'T BE HAPPIER!
To make up for the long period of inactivity on this blog, here is a new drawing that I completed a couple days ago. In a way, this drawing is made in tribute to me completing my high school years and finally graduating on Monday. I am as proud of this piece as proud as I am of myself for finally completing this portion of my life. It's scary, but I hope that I can get through it!
Regarding the drawing itself, it gave me plenty of opportunity to practice with fire and effects, along with messing around with shading and light. I just really like the entire vibe/aesthetic of this depiction of the phoenix, and I really am proud of this piece, and it has really brought back my motivation to draw again. I hope you love it just as much as I do!
