Incredible evening that I spent last week with some friends in #LosAngeles. We drank @chateau__latour 1979 which was truly amazing. I would say quite frankly the #wine is #statesman like worthy of any company. It is #refined and #elegant ! So many flavors, I hate to write what everyone else writes, it is beautiful. Then we had a 1995 @chateaulynchbages which is typical #Pauillac beauty. #fat & #elegant with delightful #fruit #gordeous #wine - still loads of time left. Next up we opened a 1959 @chateaupalmer which was #exceptional. #intact #precise #lovely fruit. #aromatic #pretty. Really amazing and still has it. You need to open and pour with good glasses. We followed this with the 2000 #leovillelascases 2000 which for me is just sheer #class. So fat and pretty. My #favorite wine in #Bordeaux. And finally the @vieuxchateaucertan #1982 how good was that ? #excellent - took a while and was brooding in the bottle - but it opened up to show its #style and #girth. Pure !! Everything you would expect from a #grandvin - this was an amazing evening. Hard to say which was my fav as they were all seriously #delish. This is a once in a #lifetime experience!
