Woodland Wonderland | Playground

With a little drive outside of the District, you can find a great Woodland inspired playground. We went when it was cold and it began to rain, which was nice because the boys had free reign over the playground. Negative of going during this time was that facilities were closed, so while there were restrooms, they were locked at the time. Not sure when these are open. We also thought that there was a dog park nearby, however that was our mistake (Heidi seemed to enjoy the equipment as well). There are a few paved paths, sports fields, and a skate/bmx area nearby, so you don’t just have to stick with the playground. 

There are a lot of great structures around, many with slides attached. Plenty of things for the little guys to climb up on. Also, there are little hide and seek games include, such as finding specific creatures. The ground is rubberized, so helps with falls.

It looks like there is a water component to part of the park. This was also turned off at the time due to season. 

There are slides for just about everyone, tubes, big ones, little ones, bumps, etc. One, not pictured, is pretty large and goes down the side of the hill a ways. It has little ants that the kids can play on as the climb back up. 

Definitely a park to file away for future visits.
