i recently found this article on substack that hit home, especially in relevance to myself and my thought process during the making of my recent ao3 fic: "if you could just come a little closer (i've always been here)". it's been 9 months since i published this fic, and i'm so happy that the topicality wasn't just something i made up in my head—heavens know it's hella cramped in here; if you're interested, please give this a read because now i'm convinced there must be many more out there who struggle similarly.
