according to the Sims wiki using the ChangeLotZoning cheat on a Residential lot that has been occupied can corrupt the Hood. Does this apply if you have an Apartment that has been occupied that you changed to Residential to edit and then change back to an Apartment?Â

Hey Skell, I know this is pretty old but I recently reinstalled Sims 2 after a long break and am downloading loads of CC. I loved this set and wanted to redownload it but the link no longer works. Would you be able to reshare this?
A maxis match skin blend I’m working on. I’ve got skin 1 done and I think it’s come along pretty well but I’m unsure if I’ll be sharing it.Â
i don’t know how many followers i still have on this blog, but i reinstalled sims 2 and mostly am finished installing my cc. either today or tomorrow i’m going to have a massive WCIF post for the stuff i had that i couldn’t refind.
Guess who finally found recording software that works with Sims 1 and can now make gifs for it.

So I got my computer with my Sims 2 saves on it back! I don't have a screen so I can't play yet but if everything goes well my saves are still there and I can eventually go back back where I left off. Gotta beat the newest Dragon Age game first, tho!
Friend: "You play the sims?! I play too sometimes omg!"
Me: "No but I don't think you understand."

I’ve tweaked them a little bit since I took this photo, but overall I’m pretty happy with them. When I get the game, I’m going to make the Goth’s and Caliente’s, etc into townies (assuming that’s possible) and move these guys in for a nice role reversal. :P

I remember reading about how EA was trying to sell the rights to make The Sims into a movie and everyone was like “…how?”
Now I get it
It’s a horror movie
People wake up one day to find themselves transformed into puppets of an invisible malicious trickster god
First the bizarre happenings start:
someone becomes obsessed with stealing lawn gnomes
another person has a compulsion to stick their head into a strange device and emerges obsessed by grilled cheese sandwiches
people pee themselves despite being next to a bathroom because some mysterious unseen force makes them study cleaning
people find themselves stuck in rooms because they can’t step over common household objects
a young man doing some nighttime stargazing mysteriously vanishes
then their god turns sadistic
pool ladders mysteriously vanish, leading to several drownings
doors vanish just as a house fire begins
an elevator plummets several stories as a couple starts to get it on
a Murphy Bed gruesomely folds up, crushing the people inside
and that man who vanished while stargazing returns…but with something growing inside of him…and vague memories of a grotesque creature named Pollination Technician
the horror has begun
I would pay a lot to watch that movie
I hate horror movies but I would go to see this.

Everything below has been 100% confirmed, excluding the final category.
This is a list of features that were COMPLETELY CUT or REDUCED from previous iterations of The Sims. It DOES NOT include missing expansion pack content that should be base by now (i.e. Weather) or new features promised for Sims 4 that were later cut (i.e. Woohoo Skill).
Lastly, it is important to understand that much of this content will NEVER be in The Sims 4. Things like Create a Style are not compatible with the game engine, and thus cannot be added in future updates or expansions.
MAJOR MISSING FEATURES THAT WERE IN TS3:
No create a style (CAST) - NOT possible in future expansions (x)Â
No modifications to world/public spaces - The park in the demo is a mix of a community lot and public space (x1) (x2)Â
No “normal” careers - Law enforcement, Medical, Business, etc. were removed (x)
No open world - You must incur a loading screen between each active lot; each neighborhood has 1-5 lots total (x1) (x2)Â
No pools (x)Â
No terrain tools other than paint; everything is perfectly flat (x)Â
No story progression - Sims in the neighborhood age, but do not have children, get jobs, move, get married…etc. without player intervention (x)Â
No toddlers (x)
No way to create/place new lots - And you only have 2 empty ones at the start of the game!
No Mac version of the game at release
