Here we have the fabulous Ms. Frizzle from the Magic School Bus. I couldn't bare drawing just one of her dresses, so I chose four from various episodes.

Here is my submission for Lilla Roger's Global Talent Search. The theme was to illustrate "mini terrariums" as wall art with at least one word. It was a perfect way to top off all of the bootcamp assignments I've been posting since February. 

I tried something a bit new with this one. For the first time in 4+ years... I painted with watercolor! Since graduating from art school...I've really focused strictly on my digital work. Which is totally fine but at times it can feel a bit stale. It felt great to use my hands again and try painting after so long. I was a little rusty at first, but in no time I had a slew of textures to scan in. In the end, the use of the watercolor in this illustration is a bit subtle, but it's a good start if you ask me. I will certainly try this method again and I hope to improve upon it in the future.

In other news... I REALLY want to try making a terrarium someday!

The Sailor Moon 50 Collab is complete!

In anticipation for 'Sailor Moon Crystal', 50 characters of the original anime were illustrated by 50 different artists, each with their unique style and voice.

A big thank you to everyone who supported and contributed to this project! It was a lot of fun hosting and I hope to host another sometime in the future. Stay in touch and please share this wonderful poster!
