Last Song: Sun Tickles by Salamanda. I was taking an everything shower before getting tagged in this, so I had something a little different than my normal punk-pop shtick on!
Favorite Color: Pink. Pink, pink, pink all the way down. If anyone's a pink bitch, it's me. (I say that, but the Stanley I ordered to replace my pink water bottle that I lost—no one judge me—is firetruck red.)
Currently Watching: I'm not currently watching anything, but I am planning on watching Witch Hat Atelier when it starts airing and I do need to watch OPLA Season 2. Oh, and the Dimension 20 Vampires: The Masquerade campaign that they're doing soon!
Currently Reading: I have a handful of books that I've started, but not finished! I would normally talk about this on my weekly 'newsletter', but I had to stop due to life events being kind of miserable. Anyways, those are: Archivist Wasp (Nicole Kornher-Stace), Mistborn: Well of Ascension (Brandon Sanderson), and On Tyranny: Twenty Lessons from the Twentieth Century (Timothy D. Snyder).
Current Obsession: Leon S. Kennedy. I am not immune to whatever they put in that guy.
Currently Working On: A great many things, truly. I like to stay busy! I'm obviously working on finishing up my Associates, I want to get back into doing my 'newsletter' and maybe start teaching myself to crochet or knit (I saw the Project Hail Mary movie and immediately wanted the sweater Ryan was wearing)... I've been drawing a little more, recently, and I tried something out on the tablet that I really liked the look of!
Last Google Search: My last Google searches were actually to confirm author names for the books that I was reading, but before that it was a search for Léo et Violette, which is a French leather goods company that does mid-range bags. I say mid-range, but they're all out of my budget with the job I have now, so that's something to save for if I ever want to get my paws on the Le Laurence (in Petrol or Burgundy, obviously)!

brandon sanderson is actually just built different. once on a podcast with patrick rothfuss they were talking about tools to write better and he said "i try to limit myself to 8 hours of writing per day." he took time off of writing during the first year of covid and accidentally wrote four unplanned books. he teaches a class at byu. his wife has a codeword to get him to stop writing in his head because at any given moment you might think he's doing something normal but no he's also writing another novel. stephen king said he's insane

you know what. for someone who survived the horrors this term (sick twice, depression/anxiety crashouts uncountable, 19 credits!! 19 fucking credits jesus i forgot how much i hated that, working almost full time, the bullshit that came with working my fucking job, leon kennedy brainrot) i’ll take all As and one (1) B+. 3.99 GPA isn’t the end of the world.

http://repec.org - volunteers from 102 countries have collected almost 4 million publications on economics and related science.
www.science.gov is an American state search engine on 2200+ scientific sites. More than 200 million articles are indexed.
www.pdfdrive.com is the largest website for free download of books in PDF format. Claiming over 225 million names.
www.base-search.net is one of the most powerful researches on academic studies texts. More than 100 million scientific documents, 70% of them are free

1. "Five second rule!" while scrubbed, after dropping a sterile scalpel on the floor (no they did NOT pick it up again but I swear everyone's buttholes puckered)
2. (spoken during the closing of a particularly long and difficult case) "Nurse - my tunes." :heavy metal starts blasting:
3. Gently to a fretful patient, pre-anaesthesia: "It's going to be okay. I promise, I've dealt with worse." As soon as the patient is unconscious: "This is literally the worst thing I've ever seen."
4. [okay this one was a med student] "Wowwww, that's so gross!!" Reg: "Please remember that [patient] is awake for this procedure." Student to patient: "Oh my god. I am so sorry, that was really unprofessional - " Patient, cheerfully, also engrossed with what's happening inside them on the screen: "Nah - it's, like, super gross, right?"
5. [another procedure where the patient couldn't be put under GA] Patient: *starts singing country roads midway through the procedure* Surgeon: *shrugs and joins in with surprisingly good harmony*

6. Elderly surgeon to the anaesthetist who is gossipping with their reg: "I need you to pretend you're in church." [weirdest way to ask people to be quiet, but whatevs]
Anaethetist's new reg with big, horrified eyes: "You mean we should start praying???"
7. Panicking rad tech: "Uhhhh my machine broke. I need to jump on this part and kick it, but I am not paid enough if I break it. Can you - "
Surgeon, casual as: "Yeah, sure."
:violently beats up the C-arm until it starts pumping out those sweet, sweet x-rays:
