"The Genesis of My Father and I" I am currently in Alberqurqe, New Mexico, with my father. My father retired here. He is now now a resident of Genesis Rehab Center of Alberqurqe, New Mexico. The most poignant and thought provoking fact of this is that Genesis is the first book of the bible and it means "The Beginning." I find that it is not coincidental that my father is here at (Genesis) which is now the beginning of his transition. He is now 77 years old and has lived a fruitful accomplished life of his own accord. This is now the beginning of a new existence of my father and I. I am now at the Beginning of a renewed life with a man that was was very instrumental in my beginning. He delivered me into the world during the"Blizzard of February 10, 1969" in Bedford Stuyvesant New York at home. He with limited medical knowledge prevented a tragedy. When I was born my umbilical cord was brittle and blue and I was not breathing. My father tied my umbilical cord with a shoestring, prayed over me, rubbed my feet,and willed me to live. Genesis has now been fulfilled and has now come full circle.
