The lesbian pride flag WIP from my fantasy world, based on the ocean goddess. I had the color meanings layer out but my mobile is making docs glitch out so I'll edit those in later.

I made some pride flags for world-building reasons and wanted to know which ace flag design everyone liked better! The flags are based on the designs of gods in the story too.

1) The Fear Flag, based on the god of fear.

Black: The absence of attraction.

Gold: Prosperity, a prosperous community.

White: Perfection, we are perfect as we are.

Red: Strength, both individually and together.

Or 2) The Night/Space Flag, based one the god of night and space.

Indigo: Great Devotion, both to ourselves and others.

Purple: Creativity and Pride. Pride in ourselves and our identities. Creativity because this is one of the most creative communities I’ve been in.

Blue: Confidence and Loyalty, confidence in oneself and one’s identity. Loyalty to one’s loved ones or community.

Turquoise: Friendship for strong bonds and closeness both inside and outside one’s communities and with one’s partners.

So what do y'all think?

@joereaves There's a lot more lore around it, I just wanted to know which appearance and meanings people liked better. One reason the fear god was picked for the flag is because they're one of the gods who are asexual themselves and they're a pretty powerful god on top of that.

Which OC do you regret making?

I don't think I've ever regretted making an OC. Everytime I'd look back and decide I wasn't happy with them, I'd edit them until I was happy or keep their personality but put/make a story where they fit in better.

I don't like the idea of regretting my characters when I can make them better. It makes me feel like I'll regret trying to create things at all and I would hate to regret creating things.

You are at constant war with your rival. The feud between you two is nothing short of legendary and it has lasted longer than there has been life on this planet. For every push he makes, you stand firm, forever at war. The very mention of you makes your nemesis quiver. He is Poseidon, god of the ocean. You are the Sand Guardian, Guardian of the Sand.

You've finally done it. Finally learned how to banish Poseiden to the depths of the ocean and become the victor in your ancient feud. Watching the god approach the shores with his usual confidence brings a smug smile to your face. He walks with his shoulders thrown back, long hair swaying behind him and an air of superiority. That's how he's always been. You've seen him quiver at your presence, but he still tried to throw his weight around.

You hate it, and today you hope to see that change.

He's closer now, almost within earshot. You know he must hear your words, but you hesitate. Why? It was fun at first, but that's long worn off. Dealing with an arrogant god is always tiring. Maybe it's because this has become routine, or maybe there's a fondness you've developed that is hard to admit exists.

But this has to end somehow. As he draws closer you breathe in deep and scream as loudly as you can, "FUCK OFF!".
