Characters - (F/N), John Laurens
Author note - This is my first time ever writing a John Laurens fanfiction, I promise they'll get better and longer in the future!
My eyes opened to bright rays of light flooding through the cracks of my blinds. I groaned and rolled over, why had I agreed to take the spot closest to the windows. It had only been a week since I had moved in with my husband, John Laurens. We had been together for almost two years, we were close and I loved him more than anything in the world.
We had a special relationship that few understood, we constantly made jokes about anything and everything, were always a bit to flirty when out in public (especially when they were out with John's friends), and we were always supportive of each other. I knew that I wouldn't be where I am today if I didn't have John by my side.
As I rolled over and let out a groan, my eyes landed on the muscular back of John. I smirked as I scooted closer to my husband's back and pressed my face into his warm back. John let out a tiny groan then proceed to push his face into his pillow and hide his face.
"Why is your face so cold?" I heard him mumble through the pillow. I giggled and nuzzled his back.
"I was just trying to wake you up." I could sense the eye roll that John was doing into the pillow.
After a couple of moments of silent cuddling, John got the strength to roll over and face me. He wrapped his arms around me as I looked up at his freckled face with a huge smile. "Is this what you were waiting for?" He asked with a smile.
I quickly nodded and nuzzled into John's chest, causing him to let out a small laugh. Both John and I started to doze off, well at least I thought both of us had dozed off but after only a couple of moments of dozing, I started to feel fingers creep up my side.
I let out another groan and lightly kicked John's shin with my foot, "Get those fingers away from me or so help me God." But my little treat didn't stop John from continuing to lightly run his fingers up and down my sides. At first, the feeling didn't bother me besides for a couple of tickling feelings I felt right above my hips.
The feeling was so nice that I started to doze off once again. I smiled to myself, tugged our blue comforter closer to me, and nuzzled my face into John's chest. Everything felt so right, perfect, warm, and soft. You knew you belonged here.
My eyes felt heavy as I drifted into sleep. That was until I felt John's fingers quickly wiggling and brushing over my shirt and skin. At first, I tried to hold back my laughter but it didn't take much before a huge smile broke out across my face and laughter came out of my lips.
At first, I tried to wiggle and get away but in the end, I laid there and took my 'punishment' from John. The room filled with laughter from both I and John.
After a couple of moments of laughing and tickling from both of us, John rolled over to look at me. I looked back into his golden eyes, a wide smile on his face. I mirrored his smile. Suddenly, I felt his hands on my cheeks.
John softly pulled my face close to his and pressed his lips close to mine. I smiled into the soft and passionate kiss. The kiss seemed to last forever, John's soft but big lips felt perfect against my small soft lips. Unfortunately, we both had to pull away to breath.
With a sweet voice and soft smile, John said, "I love you."
I giggled and kissed the tip of his nose. "I love you too."
