Shura Breaks the Multiverse - Rp Starter
Shura Amakuni, age fourteen…daughter of Chireru Amakuni and Eva Shinto, utilizes her aerokinetic powers to hop the roof tops of the city of New Kyushu, spying her parents activities. On one rooftop, she saw her mother Eva, playing the mindful sheriff to keep the peace between humans and demons. With a set of roof tops hopped over and passed by, she watches her father buying spare parts to tinker with gadgets. Yawning and stretching…she makes her way home. Shura made it home long before her parents, and snuck into the basement of the their home. She rushes over to the bookshelf to ogle over a set of books brought here by her father from his birth home, until she came upon the one book that enthralled her…Necronomicon Ex Mortis. This ancient tome has passed through the hands of many scholars (many of them which met grime fates), until the last descendants of the Amakuni kept it for safe keeping over a hundred years. She opens the blood-inked opens of the worn grimoire, her study into Sumerian language payed off, able to read the grim passages and incantations the book had to offer. She flipped through each page until she came upon the one page that always captivated her imagination…a passage that allows for the communion of worlds.
She rips the page out, bits her thumb to allow blood to red upon the lone page and read the inscription as it read. Shura chanted the incantation for a straight fifteen minutes…and, much to her frustration, the only thing that happened was that the page burns up. Groaning as she sat for minutes on end with no real results, she impatiently calls it a night and goes to sleep…
…
Shura awoken to screams outside, getting herself out of bed to attempt to see what the source was, but the moment she stepped outside, both of her parents stood and watched…above everyone there was a crack in the sky. Citizens were accustomed to the supernatural plaguing their streets at this point, but even an event like this was enough to cause panic and outroar. Chireru grits his teeth. “What…what the hell could have caused this? This is abnormal, even by this city’s standards. We have to do something!” Eva simply runs ahead, the arrogance built upon her feats of regeneration prompted her to action…Shura felt nothing but guilt, Somehow, someway, she knew this was her fault, for attempting a ritual within a cursed artifact.
While chaos continues to ensue, more assistance makes its presence known in the form of people from the unknown. Consisted of soldiers and agents, all don an insignia of a flaming gladiolus flower and a fractured moon, signifying they all come from an all different organization. Despite their appearance, they arrived in assistance in getting the people to safety along rescuing any of the wounded and taking out the Yokai with specialized gear. While they do their duty, one particular individual strayed away from the soldiers and agents, a tall youthful male with low spiky shoulder length hair with a few crimson streaks, donning in white, blue and black. Seemingly, in a search for someone, he made the fortunate timing of encountering a fight ensuing. It was Eva taking on the demon. Most obvious, despite one she is facing, he can sense demonic energy coming from her, but judging from her position, she seems to try avoiding using this energy.
Unable to avoid watching someone taking on a threat alone, the youth cloaks his hand in an azure spiritual glow. Not wasting any time, he leaps out of the shadows, striking the demon from behind via strike of his aura-cloaked palm straight to one of its weak points.
As the fight ensues, the raven-haired lady made short work of the yokai despite the abrupt hold from Shura. Immediately aware of her current state, but sensing more Yokai incoming, questions will be saved for later. What matters most is getting to safety. She kicks open her large casket case, revealing a dark void within. Though it is questionable but it is a way to move one way to another area. She turned to Shura along, gesturing her to enter the case. “Questions will be asked later. We need to get to the safe area. As for the scripture, keep it tightly to you. Falling it into the wrong hands spells doom.”
More and more yokai continue to rise. Thus, many more ended up slain by the unknown force as the Super Soldiers tried to process who this individual in question. Stood before them was none other, but the hooded female as a strong gust of wind brushed off her hood. Hidden under revealed her long silver white hair with indigo and black streaks added with a pair of ears of a rabbit and horns of a dragon, given the fact that she has a dragonic tail and feet when she’s not moving so quickly. Though the yokai were furious and scared of the girl’s presence, amongst them was the Enenra, who is the most enraged approach her, spouting at her despite her cold expression.
“YOU! YOU KILLED MY BRETHREN! ONCE I RID YOU OF YOUR LIFE, I-!!!”
Before more could be said, the girl was nowhere to be seen, only to reappear in the air, bathed in the moon’s lunar light. Not wasting time, she dashed down, plunging the smoke demon with her blade cloaked in frost, freezing the yokai before it had a chance to escape. For extra measure, not only did she plunge her blade to the demon, but she used what seemed to be an inhuman but dragonic claw in place of her left hand to add further damage with its sharp claws deep into its weak point. In spite of it, she appeared unaffected nor given a reaction, coldly uttering,
“Just die already…”
Eva was completely on the defensive, parrying every attack the demon threw at her. She was thus far fortunate, for they were fighting in her element…face-to-face, fist-to-fist. The demon was losing patience trying to wear her down himself, so with a snap of a finger, the demons he subverted to his service rose, attacking Eva with sheer numbers. The demon watched as its subverts began to back the Hanyou into a corner. He pulled out what looked like a page torn from a book. “Yes…any minute now, you’ll give in, little beast.” In a matter of seconds, the demonic entity staggers from an unseen blow, caught entirely unaware. All the demons under its sway become cognitive and aware once more, ceasing attacks on Eva. Holding a rather blank expression, the imp demons eyed her with recognition. “Sherif? What? How?” With a sigh of relief, she pointed at the cause of their oppression. “That demon can manipulate and enslave other demons, we all…me included, need to be wary of him.” Eva now turned to the one who struck him and caught him off guard, “Thanks, stranger? Want to help wreck this guy? With me and a battalion of demons we can’t lose now!” The entity was far from diswayed, “YOU DARE CHALLENGE A VANGUARD OF THE ELDRITCH?!?” Shura looks up as the reality tear above them slowly begun to unravel more, and then into the dark void created by the raven-haired lady’s casket. “Wait…wait. What about my parents? And my town? Not all the demon’s loose are bad, and my mom and I are the only ones who can rally the not so bad ones.” Of course, as a youth, she was quick to question, despite the gravity of the situation. Chireru and Lucia were within distance of the slaying of Enenra at the hands of the white haired woman. Unlike Lucia, Chireru’s eyes could keep track of her movements, due to his greater power and combat experience. As he witnesses the demonic being being frozen and ultimately crushed, Chu observes a few very particular elements of her persona and mutters to himself, “Dragon traits…and a sword. Elemental powers aside…we’re exceedingly similar.”
“Fledgling, as far you are concerned but do not fret. Your questions will be answered shortly. Just stay close to me.” The raven lady said to Shura, entering the casket first. Despite the dark void, there lies a pathway to another part of New Kyushu. By luck, this area is where Chireru and Lucia are located, witnessing the slaying of the Enenra at the hands of the girl in blue.
“…just in time.” The woman speaks in relief, seeing a bunch of soldiers watching in awe of the smoke yokai killed by the girl. Not long before, more of dark yokai began to make their presence known, surrounding her, which she didn’t react much upon being used to take large numbers. However, she is not alone, and she is never alone as a spectral dragon can be shown partially, wrapped around her in a protective stance.
“Apologies, but I was in the middle looking for a friend, and seeing a lady being cornered by you is something I can not avoid.” The man spoke, flicking his wrist to rid any remnants left behind from the impact. Glancing over at Eva and the people formerly under the creature’s influence, he had a feeling there’s a lot more despite being new to the unknown world. One thing for sure, this demon he struck needed to be dealt with immediately. “Judging by this, I would not mind taking out a threat like this.”
The demon looked from the male, to Eva and the imps and couldn't help but snicker. Steam hissed from the stab wound and swiftly regenerated. Eva stares, "So...you can use your demonic energy to heal like I do? How troublesome." The entity cackles and retorts, "So much more than that, m'dear. You see, I don't just manipulate demonic energy in other demons and like creatures I add their power to my own supply without even needing to drain that demon's power..." It began to channel the combined power of the Imps' energy he made his own and bulked up, doubling in size, the muscles on his arms and legs exposing purple veins filled with demon power. "...Like so." The Imps cowered at the demon's newly imposing form, and fled. They weren't a species known for their courage but for self-preservation. Eva casually watches them scurry with a huff. The empowered snidely adds, "Please, don't be too harsh on them. Just be thankful they aren't mine to command anymore. Especially since once I add the powers of demons I commanded to my own, I can't manipulate the demon energy in others anymore until I burn off the excess power." Eva was puzzled by the confession, and why he was holding a torn piece of paper, but impatience gotten the best of her. "Oh? Well, if you can't take my power anymore, there's no need to hold back anymore!!" The hanyou female was suddenly engulfed in a torrent of pinkish purple demonic energy. The shockwave of her released energy shattered all the glass of nearby windows...and yet the Eldritch Demon was not only unfazed, but it was as if it was waiting for Eva to unleash her demon powers. Raising the page in hand, he begun an incantation that only a trained ear would recognize as Ancient Sumerian. An inscription appeared on the blank page, and begun drawing and sealing Eva's demon powers... Shura watches everything going on from the other end of the void the raven haired woman opened...sure enough, her father was there, as well Lucia and the blue haired woman slaying a smoke yokai. She gasps, and looks to the woman, saying "Thank you!" And with that, she jumps in, much to Chireru and Lucia's surprise. "Wait, Shura?!? How'd you get here?" The young teen looks towards the raven haired woman. "She saved me!" From a considerable distance a torrential storm of pink-purple demon energy can be seen reaching into the sky. Chireru sighed, "So...there's clearly enemies here that are such a threat Eva'd resorted to let her out? That means we need to remain vigilant." Shura suddenly shudders and fell to her knees. She was shaking, and breathing heavy. "The Necronomicon...it's become heavier!" The revelation of the book in her daughter's possession caused him to lose composure. "The...Nercro-no. Nononono. Shura, please tell me you didn't remove that from the family bestiary?!?" She could only look up apologetically. Chireru shook off all thoughts of anger, in this current situation it was wasted energy. "The game's changed then. Everyone here, please...the name of the game here is to protect Shura, with our lives if need be." He could only pray more of their allies would come to help.

Despite the unknown horror that was released into their world, little did know that there is a sense of hope left behind from an ancient book of evil. Unknowingly, what incantation Shura cast brought in another world, a world outside of hers. Coming from that said world is plagued of demonic beings, Yokai most specifically. Horrifying, the first Yokai made its presence known is the Enenra, a demonic being of ghostly and smoky appearance and the most dangerous.
As havoc began to take place, little did this creature know, it’s being hunted by a certain individual hidden in the shadows to whom continuously chased after. All the meanwhile, as the people of the city go into a panic, one individual, a woman with long, dark raven hair, walked in the opposite direction in a calming manner with no worry in approaching danger. Judging by her composed demeanor, a sense of concern lies beneath this expression, acknowledging the events unfolding all came from traces a magic originated from an ancient book.
“I feared this is going to happen… something or someone managed to find some scripture to unleash all this evil.” She uttered quietly, gently tapping her thumb on her cane while dropping a large casket-shaped travel case, preparing to go into battle.
Shura’s unintended spell corroded reality at three points of the city, the most obvious was the one in the sky, where Enenra and Yokai like it emerged from. The other two were less conspicuous. One of the portals was well disguised within the safety of one of the buildings in the city, but nothing yet had emerged from it…whatever was on the other side was patient and calculating. It sensed all that transpired on the opposite end, choosing the gauge the defenses this new world provided. Eva, now by herself, ran until she encountered an entourage of demons native to her reality, lower level imps that traveled in packs for protection from larger predators, kneeling in subservice to a yokai that crossed through. Unlike the ghostly appearance of Enenra and others like this, this yokai was distinctly physical in appearance. Boasting a masculine build and grey skin, it turned to face Eva…it’s eyes black and soulless, it was naked yet possessed no genitalia. It was a phantasm made flesh with a single purpose. “These lesser beings recognized me for what I am…as I recognize you. You look human, but you are part kin as well. Kneel…and in return for your service you can come home.” Eva offered a mere glance, before taking stance. “These demons are under my protection…and besides the fact, I am home…” Chireru seemed to be a targeted buffet for the more ghastly of the yokai appearing. Like a school of piranha honed in on prey, he was attacked on after another without let up. Fortunately for him, these ghostlike Yokai didn’t hold up well against a barrier of pure spiritual energy. However, this wasn’t something he can maintain indefinitely. He was using the time he had to mesmerize their attack pattern, and weighing his options of other methods of attack. Time was against him though, and he needed back-up… Shura, with that abominable book under her armpit, rushes through the streets. She witnesses human beings screaming in fear and/or pain and demons from her world either rioting or looking out for their own. With her legs propelled by the power of aerokinesis she wasn’t paying much attention to what was in front of her. First time she was stopped, Yokai in their ghastly form swarmed her and threaten to attack her in god only knew what ways. Looking down at that Necronomicon, she looked to the book for a quick save…until she found a passage for warding off evil spirits. With an incantation of Ancient Sumerian, the book roared to life and expelled a massive shockwave that repelled the intangible entities. What Shura didn’t know was that, as a book of untold evil, the spell she cast had an unwritten side effect. Yes, the weaker demons would forever be repelled, but she was now radiant of an unseen aura of evil. While the likes of her father couldn’t detect it, she became a beacon for all reasonable powerful demons, all touched by evil on any level and even worse creatures that existed. The young girl moved again and made haste, and after 20 minutes of speedy movement and observation in New Kyushu, she bumped into a woman and fell. This woman, possessed of long hair, raven colored and stoic in appearance. “Eeeep. Um, Sorry miss! I didn’t mean to bump into you!”
The woman turned her attention to the girl who bumped into her, silent for a moment. By a glance, she wondered why she was out in the face of harm, but something caught the raven’s eye, the Necronomicon in the girl’s arms, the source that brought an unspeakable evil.
‘That scripture… By the Dea…’ The woman thought, suspicious but wondering why this young girl has the book in hand. Questions can be saved for later as she turned her attention back at the Yokai approaching the girl, ready to attack. Taking a stoic approach upon seeing them not much of a threat, she stabs her cane next to her case, stepping in front of Shura while conjuring threads of electricity from the tips of her fingers.
Meanwhile, as more Yokai continues to bring fear and harm, a female hooded individual in blue made her presence known, taking out the Yokai by a split second with her blade in hand. As many people were saved from an unfortunate fate, they were safely evacuated with no time to process what the hooded woman is or if she is there due to being fast as the wind. Not long before, the Yokai noticed the woman, some shakened in fear while others angered of her presence. Among the fallen, the swordswoman stood, swiping any remnants of blood off her sword before turning to the other Yokai. Despite wearing a hood and mask, one thing that is most unique from this woman is her glowing azure eyes, the eyes that gave a presence of death.
Eva turned her back on the enemy before her. As a half-demon Shinigami-Hanyou, she could home in on sources of evil aura that her husband was blind to. "...Shura..." She knew it was her, unfortunately what she could sense was just as known to whatever she now engaged in combat with. "It seems you know whom that is....the source of our beckoning." "What?!?" She turns back towards this unknown demonic entity, his knowing of what was going on vexed her. Wrath consuming her, she rushed at him with speed and force, gripping him by the neck and crushing him into the building in front of her. "Ok...spill it! What's my daughter have to do with this!! And what do you mean she's the source?!?" Once the dust debris cleared from the impact, the demon casually flicked Eva's forehead, causing her to fly backwards. "Daughter? What a refreshing coincidence. Once I claim you, I'll be sure to add your scion to my collection as well. It's rare to find demons that can erode the boundary of realms, you see." Eva promptly returned to her feet, she took a breath and calmed herself, taking in his words, piecing together his capabilities through sheer deductive skill. She took stance, trying to calculate a method of attack that didn't rely on her demon energy... Shura observes as the new woman unleashes the thread of electricity to subdue incoming Yokai. However, that was only effective of the demons approaching from that angle. Shu did her best to help with her one free hand by controlling the air behind the raven-haired woman to create sharp, razor wind air palm blasts to repel the yokai, refraining from utilizing that accursed book unless once again backed into a corner. Given a moment's reprieve by the combination of razor wind and electric threads, the younger girl asks, "Who are you? Did you also come here because..." She stops suddenly. She was afraid, and ashamed, to say it was her fault the dimension portal was spawning unknown species of Yokai. Chireru was no longer in a position to hold back his powers. He disengaged his protective spirit barrier and went on the offensive. As a master swordsman, combined with his Kusanagi, a holy blade that can harm spirits, demons and deities, and his own spirit energy imbued attacks, cut through the swarms of yokai attacking him with speed and precision. He kept this pace for quite a while, but the Yokai kept coming. Thankfully, he had reinforcements in the form of an old friend. Lucia Sorel, a woman in her 20's, heir to the local business empire Sorel Industries...whom dons the alter ego of the vigilant Vagabond, came onto the scene without her suit, but armed with senbon with plasma arcs built into the tip. She took out scores of Yokai in seconds with her anti-demon knives, until she came in to watch Chireru's back. Chireru sighed. "Why are you here? Shouldn't you be helping the evac with the other Super Soldiers?" Their banter wasn't new, when they first met, Lucia was often a damsel, needing rescue from the local gangs of Yokai that actually lived in the dark elements of the city. "You're welcome, Chu! Besides, Evac's going well...better than well! Most of the other Super's got more than have the citizens, and even a few demons who haven't turned on us are helping too! That being said...we got help, weird help." After another slain Yokai Chireru turned with a raised brow. "Yeah...whomever it was moves like a blur. Even with heightened senses on my part, her movements were hard to track. But, with she stood still, she had a sword like you and long blue hair." Chireru paused for a moment...if someone was slaying demons, maybe he could find her and ask her to rally the remaining fighters to work together and subdue the rouge demon elements. "Can you take me to her last known location?" "Are you crazy?!? You can't be sure that the enemy of our enemy is a friend, or just another enemy!!" Chireru couldn't help but chuckle. "Only one way to find out, right?"

Shura's unintended spell corroded reality at three points of the city, the most obvious was the one in the sky, where Enenra and Yokai like it emerged from. The other two were less conspicuous. One of the portals was well disguised within the safety of one of the buildings in the city, but nothing yet had emerged from it...whatever was on the other side was patient and calculating. Boasting a masculine build and grey skin, it turned to face Eva...it's eyes black and soulless, it was naked yet possessed no genitalia. It was a phantasm made flesh with a single purpose. "These lesser beings recognized me for what I am...as I recognize you. You look human, but you are part kin as well. Kneel...and in return for your service you can come home." Eva offered a mere glance, before taking stance. "These demons are under my protection...and besides the fact, I am home..." Chireru seemed to be a targeted buffet for the more ghastly of the yokai appearing. Like a school of piranha honed in on prey, he was attacked on after another without let up. Fortunately for him, these ghostlike Yokai didn't hold up well against a barrier of pure spiritual energy. However, this wasn't something he can maintain indefinitely. He was using the time he had to mesmerize their attack pattern, and weighing his options of other methods of attack. Time was against him though, and he needed back-up... Shura, with that abominable book under her armpit, rushes through the streets. She witnesses human beings screaming in fear and/or pain and demons from her world either rioting or looking out for their own. With her legs propelled by the power of aerokinesis she wasn't paying much attention to what was in front of her. First time she was stopped, Yokai in their ghastly form swarmed her and threaten to attack her in god only knew what ways. Looking down at that Necronomicon, she looked to the book for a quick save...until she found a passage for warding off evil spirits. With an incantation of Ancient Sumerian, the book roared to life and expelled a massive shockwave that repelled the intangible entities. What Shura didn't know was that, as a book of untold evil, the spell she cast had an unwritten side effect. Yes, the weaker demons would forever be repelled, but she was now radiant of an unseen aura of evil. While the likes of her father couldn't detect it, she became a beacon for all reasonable powerful demons, all touched by evil on any level and even worse creatures that existed. The young girl moved again and made haste, and after 20 minutes of speedy movement and observation in New Kyushu, she bumped into a woman and fell. This woman, possessed of long hair, raven colored and stoic in appearance. "Eeeep. Um, Sorry miss! I didn't mean to bump into you!"
Merry Christmas to everyone 🌿
Shura Breaks the Multiverse - Rp Starter
Shura Amakuni, age fourteen…daughter of Chireru Amakuni and Eva Shinto, utilizes her aerokinetic powers to hop the roof tops of the city of New Kyushu, spying her parents activities. On one rooftop, she saw her mother Eva, playing the mindful sheriff to keep the peace between humans and demons. With a set of roof tops hopped over and passed by, she watches her father buying spare parts to tinker with gadgets. Yawning and stretching…she makes her way home. The Injustice of Closet Pride - A poem by ShikonArts
*It is demoralizing living a life in hiding, This makes me feel like my soul is dividing, The profound disgust that comes when a life must hide, Unable to wear the full extent of that closeted pride.
I wish it were as easy as finding one to blame, when really, I must point that finger at myself for wearing such shame. For not putting up a fight for my life, I feel like I've been taken out of the game.
Hell, am I even a human being? I feel like a pet, honestly...I should be fleeing. It seems like there is something I am not seeing, Because the life I am presently living is beyond believing.*
I dunno, between not finding a place to live by now, an upcoming eviction, living with Anti-LGBTQ people and my own anger for letting my life get this far down the shit storm rabbit hole, I thought I'd try my hand with a bit of poetry.

Chireru Verses Space Godzilla (2006 compared to 2023)
Partly due to the upcoming season of Bleach: TYBW, I decided to do a Bleach Verse Bankai AU for my OC, Chireru Amakuni.
*The crystalized golem is greatly inspired by Kanna's Mirror Demon from the Inuyasha franchise. Though very similar in appearance, Ame has a more feminine build, a hole that's reminiscent of a Hollow's hole and a cowl and cloak of Chireru's orange Reiatsu. Notable also that in Bankai form, the shape of Chireru's blade held in Bankai form is also reminiscent of Inuyasha's Tessaiga. Chireru's so called 'Zanpakuto' draws depictions of Shintoism religion with his Shikai being 'Kusanagi no Tsuguri' while the Bankai form is 'Ame No Murakumo'.
While in Chireru's lore is similar to his Original Character history. However, as gods don't necessary exist in the same way in the Bleach Verse as Chireru's own, his familial origins are divergent in the sense that despite Susano'O still being the ancestor of the Amakuni Clan, he is by no means a deity and rather a famous humanoid figure who discovers his own method of forging Zanpakuto. Before Yhwach went to war with the Soul Society, he started a civil war against Chireru's Clan a hundred years prior to the first invasion of the Soul Society, and is responsible for the death of Susano'O himself. He stole another inherited weapon like Kusanagi No Tsuguri, the Totsuka no Tsurugi, and had it studied until they were able to perfect the Bankai Plunder medallions. Chireru is among the last living descendants of the very same clan Yhwach annihilated during that time.
I'm just going to go on to say that...I am disgusted with my life, and myself. I say to myself that I am a writer and artist...but am I? Really? I consider artists and writers to be positively motivated, living in at least somewhat stable conditions but my life is anything but stable. Nobody in my household inspires me, motivates me...everyone is basically isolated and stuck in their own little bubble of misery and it sucks. I know that I am talked about behind my back, and often not in any way positive. I am treated like a child and important life information is withheld (like, my mom doesn't share she has effing cancer and I had to find out via unintended eavesdropping). Hell, a certain member of the household even denies and rejects my sexual orientation (even going so far as to say that 'I don't even know what it means' to be bi/pan).
I would not suggest I am what I am if some event didn't influence my decision. The place I live doesn't even feel like a home to me...I consider it some half baked, bs half-way house we live in to hide. Not live our lives...HIDE. Truthfully I feel like my job is more a home and sanctuary to me than where I live. I am constantly thanked, my feelings get factored into my workday, and most important there is a substantial among of patience I receive for small, minor screw ups on my part...all in all its an environment I thrive in. If I were to get even a small fraction of this appreciation and respect at home, this journal wouldn't be necessary. Honestly the why I do anything at home isn't the hope for a thanks...its merely that maybe, just maybe, my being helpful earns me a lick of patience for small mistakes made in chores and stuff of the like. It doesn't. EVER. I’m not even allowed to be anxious when I get verbally assaulted, as it is consider ‘quote on quote’...misbehaving. Soo...I am supposed to get yelled at and up a fake smile on my face? Fuck that.
Truly, I deserve better...I need better, otherwise this lifestyle at present is going to be the death of me. Sorry...I don't mean to get you all involved in such a way. But, I can't speak my mind on Facebook. I can't rely on compassion from some family members but backlash from others. This fear only cements my loneliness even further.
Universallydepressed13 on anon here. I have a gut feeling that "Record of Ragranok" is like your ideal artistic goals/fave manga or something...
I mean, if you are referring to what the central theme(s) of my Chitose Gen continuity is to be inspired by Record of Ragranok?
To honest that question honestly? Partially, though I never actually got around to watching the Netflix series. There are to be a lot of themes for my series. Chireru's theme will consistently be a story of the natural verses supernatural, as well as supernatural verses science. Eva's themes will be a pure spiritual journey, seeing her attempt to grow past the mentality of an avenger (I know how it sounds, but as a character, Eva is the one character who develops hardcore trust issues after getting fucked over so many times in her life to the point that she is drawn into a culture with matriarchal tendencies), and then there is the main protagonist, Eva's own brother. It sucks that I don't draw him as often as I like, but his sheer innocence is something that, as a writer, I have a VERY difficult time synergizing with (also, don't equate innocence as underage...Ryu Shinto, like Eva, are both well past 500 years old.) The Amakuni and Shinto clans will also be notable that they have ties to mythological divine figures of Shintoism.
Ultimately, the inspiration of Chitose Gen is a curious blend of Bleach, Avatar/Legend of Korra and Inuyasha, as well as stereotypical Sci-Fi and Fantasy themes.
This'll be the last Shura drawing for a while, as I want to get on the bandwagon on drawing my more mainstreamed Chitose Gen continuity characters, such as Eva, Chireru and Ryu. This time, I did a set of aged up Shura drawings, including human and Semi-anthromorphic forms. And yes, one is actually a Bleach crossover variant. Enjoy!
