Chloé watched as water washed over her feet, briefly clearing sand away from her white nail polish only to rush back out and sink her down to her ankles in mud. The ocean mist was cool and refreshing on her skin with the summer sun blazing overhead. It really had been far too long since she’d visited the coast.

She’d known she was going to visit it again this summer; she just hadn’t predicted the exact circumstances that would take her there. Before this, she had been entertaining thoughts of planning a trip to Spain to spend a week or two on the beaches there. She had been entertaining thoughts of bringing Nathaniel with her. Now, though, she was reconsidering that plan.

“So if there are entire cities of merfolk underwater,” she said as the water rushed over her feet once more, “and your family has to go back to the water all the time anyway,” she twisted to look at him over her shoulder, “why do you live on land at all?”

Family

I have been working on finishing this nearly every day since Chlonath Week, but the chapter just KEPT GETTING LONGER. But it’s finally ready! Finally, here’s @chlonathweek day 6, Family! Enjoy~

On day one of the art project, Nathaniel learned that Chloé’s favorite color was gold and that she didn’t have a favorite song. She wrote with pen because she, quote, ‘never makes mistakes,’ and her pens were a range of fiery colors—reds, oranges, yellows. Black ink only when absolutely necessary. She would only eat fruit flavors of ice cream and sprinkles were only permitted on strawberry, because, ‘they only look right on pink.’ On hot summer days, she drank mango iced tea, but the rest of the time, she liked hot coffee for waking up in the morning and hot tea for relaxing at night. And if her hot drinks didn’t have steam rising from them, they weren’t hot enough.

He also learned to never ever suggest that pineapple is a valid pizza topping.

On day two, he learned that nothing drove Chloé insane more than someone repeatedly clicking their pen. Pencil tapping was also maddening. He unfortunately learned this the hard way.

But that day, he also learned that she loved the sound of rain on the roof of a quiet room and the scent of asphalt as the first drops begin to fall. Nothing ever scared or excited her quite as much as the first strike of lightning in a storm and by observation alone, he realized that she had a very particular hum she emitted in reaction to the resonance of thunder in her chest.

Chlonath Week Day 6+7 (Future/Family + AU)

Marinette, Chloe and Nathaniel were suddenly sucked into a mysterious red and green portal.

Being in a place that looks unfamiliar and advanced, Marinette quickly took the lead as she had a suspicion feeling that this is perhaps the work of an akuma. When she was about to exit the room, a young redhead girl appear from the other side of the door which made Nathaniel and herself jumped when she's screams.

Chloe who was preoccupied herself with her phone heard both of her friends screaming and for once stop to check what has happening. She wasn't surprised by the girl appearance as there's nothing special about her aside the look of shock muttering a word that she can't quite heard.

A/N: There's actually more but since you can only post 10 pics per post, I decided to leave it here as a cliffhanger. Plus I don't know why I decided to make a long story that I still haven't finished yet making. I really want to finish this to complete the Chlonath Week 2019 prompt. Maybe I'll continue this when the next Chlonath Week comes.

Btw the Au is Future AU that this is one of the possibilities timeline that could happen. (Like Future Trunks) I see that the show mentioned the possibility that the future isn't really set so anything could happen. If your curious the name of the daughter, her name is Amber.

Airport Flowers: AU

One Year Later:

“Wow,” Marinette whispered. She flipped back to the beginning of the latest issue of Nathaniel’s comic book and started looking at the pictures again. “This is…wow.”

Chloe worried her bottom lip. “It doesn’t mean anything though, right? It’s just a comic. I mean, it’s just the characters, it’s not really us.”

“As someone who keeps up with Alternate Universe, there have been…signs this was coming,” Alya said, keeping her voice even. “Did it really surprise you?”

“I don’t know.” Chloe reached for the comic and slid it away from Marinette so she could look over it again. She ended her flip through on the last page with Nathaniel’s alter ego down on one knee as he vowed his eternal love for his partner and told her his life was infinitely better with her in it. “I mean, I know that Mighty Illustrator and Queen Bee are kind of fan favorites as a couple but I didn’t know he was going to actually make a storyline like this with them.”

“This might be the most romantic thing I’ve ever read,” Marinette admitted.  “And I married Mr. Romance.”

“I’m telling Adrien.”

“Please don’t. He won’t like to know he has competition for his title,” she laughed. “Seriously though, Chlo, this is beautiful.”

“But if he didn’t say anything about it, I think that means the ball’s in your court,” Alya added. “You can either acknowledge it and have a serious talk about your friendship or relationship or whatever you want to call it.”

“Or?” Chloe prodded.

“Or you can not bring it up and he may never say anything about it and things will stay the way they are.”

Once upon a time, in a kingdom far far away, there lived the most beautiful princess in the world. Every prince wanted to meet her and marry her, but this princess couldn’t marry just anyone. At her birth, she was cursed to only love the boy that made her heart sing the most beautiful song. Only he who truly loved her could make her heart sing and make the princess happy for the rest of her life.
