Wicked was pretty fun ig. I was anticipating a hot mess, but (almost) everybody was extremely well cast, and Cynthia and Ari blew me away.

Jon M. Chu kinda didn't really do much for me as a director (the lighting is STILL HORRIFIC and idk how the director of a Step Up movie has the dance scenes so out of focus). Also, it has a touch of "I'm Embarrassed To Be A Musical-itis" (SOOO many breaks between the songs omg) but it was fun, can't wait for part 2, and this thing is gonna be POPULAR
