We don't talk enough about the fact that Teruhashi was willing to changes her apperance and personality for Saiki

Like we are told that Teruhashi has crafted her "perfect pretty girl" image for 16 years. Carefully maintaining the perfect look and personality to make other's love her. And she just decides to throw it away for a chance that this new her would catch Saiki's attention.

Which of course doesn't work, because Saiki isn't interested in looks. And when she learns this she goes back to her true self.

But this still shows that what Teruhashi wants a this point isn't just to be universally percived as the perfect girl. She wants Saiki to like her back. So much that she's willing to risk loosing the admiration she had worked so hard for.

Of course im not saying changing yourself to get your crush to notice you is a good thing. It's just that a lot of people claim that Teruhashi´s feelings for Saiki aren't genuine, and she just wants to have him in love with her like everyone else. But to me this shows how Teruhashi just wants Saiki to reciprocate the feeling she already has for him. And in the end she understands that being herself is enough and she's hopeful that i'll happen eventually

Btw I hate AI. I hate all forms of AI idc how pretentious or fun killing I sound I think AI will be the death of critical thinking and literacy. I fear if we let it take over it’ll take away jobs and water down art taking the hard work and humanity out of it.

That said, I’d prefer you not put anything relating to my fics into AI.

Silly me googled ppp today bc I was going to edit some stuff and couldn’t be bothered to hunt through my ao3 for it. Silly me also stumbled across character AI bots (is that what they’re called) inspired by ppp James??

So I will say if you want to create your own complicated or mentally ill versions of James with AI that’s your own choice. You do that! Not my business. If you’re simply inspired by it and none of my own ideas or work are being fed into it, my own feelings on AI have no business dictating what you do. BUT I ask that you please never feed any of my actual writing into AI.

I’ve seen AI artwork of my fics too and it’s also always given me a funny feeling. So just setting the boundary, please don’t put any of my actual writing into AI please and thank you 🩷
